教学设计思路
本节课是阅读课，旨在培养学生的阅读理解能力，引导学生运用本课所学的语言知识点，让学生加深对文章主题的理解，同时对学生进行地震时如何进行自救及救助他人的教育。
为了激发学生的阅读兴趣，首先使用图片视频引出文章的主题；通过整体阅读，寻找段落主旨整体感知文章；再分部分阅读理解及小组讨论，培养学生获取信息的能力和归纳总结能力；最后引导学生了解新闻报道的写作特点。
教学重点
本课的重点是教师通过教授学生读前预测、略读、细读等阅读方法让学生能够学会、获取和理解地震前的预兆、地震造成的损失以及震后的救援等重要信息。
教学难点
迅速根据课文内容及语法知识填空；
深层次挖掘课文内容含义，如对数据的进一步分析，对难句的理解以及对文章题目的解读。
教法分析
这堂课主要是通过视频、图片、表格以及问题设置等形式，对学生进行引导，让他们进行自主探究，小组合作探究，完成阅读任务。
教学准备
教师熟悉课文内容，准备资料和多媒体课件；
学生提前预习生词，扫清阅读障碍。
