Wales: in the central England, it has the Severn River and Bristol Channel, the capital

English belongs to Indo European family of
languages.
3.1,Old English
Old English was influenced by old Norse. It
was related to the German and Dutch. And it
added the Latin and Greek words .
3.2,Middle English
William the Conqueror
conquered England in 1066.
There are two languages in
Britain: French and English.
The upper class uses French,
the lower class uses English.
After the Black Death, the
English becomes important.
3.3,Modern English
From the late 15th ,the English changed into Modern
English. The printing was introduced to England.
In the Renaissance, English assimilate foreign words
From Latin and Greek. William Shakespeare and the
King James Bible are in this period.
