When the bell rings,every student takes out an iPad. The light from the screens makes their young faces pretty and lively. That's what happens every day at my school in the US. We use iPads in class.
I felt surprised and excited when I got an iPad the first day I arrived at the school. But it was not free. I paid about $100 to rent(租)it for three years.
Every iPad at my school has a special learning system(系统)called Focus. Teachers put their teaching meterials(材料)like textbooks and PPTs on it. When we have classes, we enter the system and download (下载) materials with our iPads.

Like many countries, Britain has serious environmental problems. In 1952, more than 4,000 people died in London because of the smog (烟雾). The government made new laws to stop smog from coal fires and factories and things get better.
Today, London is much cleaner but there is a new problem: smog from cars. In December 1991, there was very little wind in London and pollution was much worse. As a result, about 160 people died from pollution in just four days.

My dream community
My dream community is very big, but there aren't many people living there. There are lots of trees and beautiful flowers in the neighbourhood, so the air there is fresh. We have a big garden, a swimming pool and some playgrounds. We can have a good time playing there.
All my neighbours are nice and helpful. Some of them are volunteers with different skills. If we have any problems, they can help us. They also help old people do some shopping and clean ,their houses. If children have problems with their stu时,they will give them a helping hand.
