Teaching procedures:
Step1 Greetings
Good afternoon, everybody
Step 2 Revision and Lead-in
Revision: What do you know about Canada
(the answers will vary)
Let the students appreciate a short movie made of beautiful pictures of Canada, and further inspire the students’ interest in Canada.
Step 3 Speaking
According to what we have learnt in the unit , talk about the trip in Canada.
Work in pairs, imagine one of you have traveled across Canada. The other ask questions about the trip. And then make a short dialogue.
The students can also refer to the textbook on page 39 and talk about something else.
Then let the students act out their own dialogue.
After that, let students enjoy one more trip in Canada and make them interested in the trip .
Ask the students to act as a tour guide , learn to introduce beautiful places to their visitors.
