Not
long
ago,
“blind
box
economy”
suddenly
became
popular,
winning
the
heart
of
large
numbers
of
faithful
fans.
People
simply
get
interested
in
it.
A
couple
spent
200
thousand
yuan
on
them.
Another
sixty-year-old
guy
spent
over
700
thousand
yuan
in
buying
blind
boxes.
Statistics
showed
that
last
year
300
thousand
hobbyists
made
deals
through
a
second-hand
shopping
platform.
The
blind
boxes
usually
contain
peripheral
(周边的)
dolls
of
comics
and
animation,
or
film
and
television,
or
specially
designed
ones.
A
single
blind
box
usually
costs
about
thirty
to
fifty
yuan.
But
there
is
no
mark
on
the
box,
and
only
after
opening
it
can
the
buyer
see
what
he
has
bought.
This
is
rather
like
buying
lottery
tickets,
for
the
buyer
has
to
bet
on
his
luck.
However,
addiction
to
blind
box
is
much
like
that
to
gambling
(赌博).
It
is
highly
nontransparent
compared
with
lottery
ticket.
Nobody
knows
whether
sellers
of
blind
boxes
exaggerated
(夸大)
the
winning
rate
so
as
to
attract
people
to
buy
them,
thus
digging
a
consumption
trap.
Besides,
it
is
also
unknown
whether
the
objects
in
the
blind
boxes
are
genuine
or
not.
The
blind
box
economy
promoted
its
second-hand
trade.
The
price
of
some
classic
dolls
or
dolls
of
limited
edition
have
skyrocketed
in
second-hand
trade
platforms,
and
some
may
reach
thirty
to
forty
times.
But
it
is
difficult
for
buyers
to
judge
whether
it
is
the
result
of
real
supply
and
demand,
or
the
consequence
of
businessmen’s
tricks.
The
basis
of
the
“blind
box
economy”
is
the
cultural
trend
of
collection.
Many
of
the
target
consumers
are
young
people
who
have
scanty
experience
of
life.
They
are
thus
attracted
by
deliberately
exaggerated
probability
of
“winning
a
prize”
and
constantly
throw
money
to
buy
blind
boxes
in
order
to
gain
dolls
that
they
desire.
Or
they
may
buy
at
second-hand
trade
platform
high-priced
blind
box
dolls,
thinking
they
can
keep
value
preservation
and
appreciation,
thus
falling
into
the
fixed
pattern
of
trap
carefully
designed
by
businessmen.
Therefore,
it
is
necessary
to
remind
young
people
to
control
their
consumption
in
case
they
become
addicted.

B.To

the
products
of
“blind

C.To

behind
the

of
“blind

economy”.

C
Do
you
often
feel
like
you
want
to
wash
your
hands
again
and
again?
Or
do
you
ever
have
the
urge
to
line
up
the
items
on
your
desk?
These
all
may
be
symptoms
of
obsessive-compulsive
disorder(强迫症),
or
OCD,
which
affects
about
2
percent
of
the
world's
population.
Those
who
suffer
from
OCD
have
difficulty
finding
successful
treatment
because
doctors
don't
clearly
understand
its
causes.
But
now,
a
new
study
has
given
hope
for
a
future
cure.
For
the
study,
which
was
published
in
the
journal
Nature
in
October,
researchers
observed
humans,
dogs
and
mice.
They
discovered
four
genes
that
may
be
responsible
for
obsessive-compulsive
behaviors
in
humans.
But
why
observe
dogs
and
mice
to
learn
about
humans?
"Dogs,
it
turns
out,
are
surprisingly
similar
to
people,"
study
author
and
geneticist
Elinor
Karlsson,
of
the
Broad
Institute
of
MIT
and
Harvard
University,
US,
told
NPR.
"They're
chasing
their
own
tail
or
chasing
shadows
like
normal,
but
they're
doing
it
for
hours."
In
the
study,
researchers
made
a
list
of
about
600
genes
in
mice,
dogs
and
humans
that
they
thought
might
cause
OCD,
reported
NPR.
They
then
compared
those
genes
in
two
large
groups
of
people
-
those
who
don't
have
OCD
and
those
who
do.
In
the
end,
they
identified
just
four
genes
with
mutations
(突变)
in
the
OCD
group.
The
genes
are
active
in
a
neurological
pathway
(神经通路)
in
the
brain,
which
is
believed
to
help
control
actions.
But
the
mutations
could
block
the
neurological
pathway.
For
example,
for
people
without
OCD,
when
they
finish
washing
their
hands,
a
signal
will
come,
telling
them
to
stop.
But
for
people
with
OCD,
the
neurological
pathway
is
blocked,
so
the
message
isn't
getting
through.
As
a
result,
the
person
will
continue
to
wash
their
hands.
"OCD
and
anxiety
are
kind
of
like
learning
disorders,"
Marcos
Grados,
an
OCD
researcher
at
Johns
Hopkins
University
School
of
Medicine,
told
NPR.
"Often
with
OCD,
people
have
a
fear
of
germs
(细菌).
You
can't
touch
tables
or
door
knobs
(把手)
and
every
time
it's
the
same
sensation
(感觉).
You
didn't
learn
that
the
last
time
you
touched
a
door
knob,
nothing
happened.
It's
like
touching
it
for
the
first
time
ever."
However,
that
doesn't
mean
people
who
have
these
genetic
mutations
will
always
have
obsessive-compulsive
behaviors,
the
researchers
said.
That's
because
the
disorder
also
relies
on
other
things,
such
as
one's
environment.
According
to
reports,
various
existing
treatment
methods
have
low
success
rates
in
patients.
But
now
that
we
know
where
OCD
comes
from,
let's
hope
we
will
soon
find
an
effective
way
to
treat
it.

can't
receive
messages
to
stop
repeated
actions.
31.Which
of
the
following
will
the
author
probably
agree
with?___

mutation
is
the
main
cause
of
OCD.
C.

第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
We’ve
all
heard
the
phrase,
“Work
smarter,
not
harder.”
When
it
comes
to
studying,
there
are
some
very
specific
ways
you
can
improve
your
effectiveness
without
adding
loads
of
extra
work.
Create
a
game
plan.
Before
you
begin
your
study
session,
create
a
game
plan
for
exactly
how
you
will
study.
Consider
what
you
will
study,
how
long
you’ll
spend
on
each
subject
and
what
study
methods
you
will
use.
36
Take
at
least
10
minutes
before
your
study
session
to
map
out
your
game
plan.
Outline
your
notes.
Taking
the
time
to
boil
your
notes
down
to
a
standard
outline
can
help
you
grasp
the
overall
concepts
you’re
studying.
You
certainly
can
borrow
or
copy
someone
else’s
notes,
but
you
must
work
hard
to
put
everything
in
your
own
words.
37
Many
times,
understanding
the
big
picture
is
just
as
important
as
remembering
all
the
individual
facts.
Outlining
allows
you
to
file
individual
facts
under
larger
ideas.
Maintain
balance.
Balance
can
be
difficult
to
maintain
in
school
but
it’s
crucial
for
success.
38
Seek
to
carry
out
a
balanced
life.
Make
sure
to
maintain
a
social
life
and
develop
hobbies
outside
of
school.
Stay
in
touch
with
your
family
and
keep
them
informed
of
your
school
progress.
It’s
certainly
a
challenge,
but
living
in
balance
will
keep
you
on
the
path
to
success.
39
If
you
want
to
do
well
in
school,
you
simply
have
to
do
it.
But
there
are
specific
ways
to
study
better.
To
make
the
most
of
your
limited
time.
40
By
following
the
methods
above,
you
can
raise
the
quality
of
your
studying
sessions
without
necessarily
increasing
the
quantity.
A.
To
keep
from
spinning
your
wheels.
B.
There’s
no
way
to
get
around
studying.
C.
Write
out
your
notes
by
hand
during
class.
D.
If
you
don’t,
you’ll
fail
to
understand
the
larger
concept.
E.
This
allows
you
to
study
the
right
materials
at
the
right
time.
F.
The
last
thing
you
want
to
do
is
bury
yourself
in
a
mountain
of
books.
G.
Don’t
spend
all
your
time
studying
or
all
your
time
hanging
with
friends.

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
It
was
a
lazy
Sunday
morning,
the
type
of
day
that
getting
out
of
bed
requires
an
effort.
When
Marilyn
and
I
entered
the
kitchen,
Lori
was
already
at
the
table
doing
her
homework.
Seeing
us
coming,
she,
suddenly,
stood
and
faced
me,
“Why
are
there
more
pictures
of
Lisa
than
there
are
of
me?”
she
asked.
Lisa
is
our
older
daughter.
I
stared
back,
not
understanding
the
question.
Lori
turned
and
left
the
room.
Caught
off-guard
by
the
question,
I
looked
at
Marilyn.
“Are
there
more
pictures
of
Lisa
than
of
Lori?”
Marilyn
shrugged
and
raised
her
eyebrows
in
a
motion
of
puzzlement.
“Are
you
aware
that
there
are
more
pictures
of
Lisa
than
Lori?”
I
added.
Marilyn
said,
“I’ve
never
counted
them.
I
don’t
know.”
Marilyn’s
answer
was
the
same
as
my
thoughts,
“I
hadn’t
realized
that
there
was
any
significant
difference.
Now
why
would
Lori
ask
such
a
question?”
I
asked.
Marilyn
just
shook
her
head
and
stared
back
at
me.
After
a
few
minutes
of
thought
she
said,
“When
Lisa
was
born,
you
were
taking
photographs.
You
hardly
went
anywhere
without
a
camera.
When
Lori
was
born,
you
were
involved
in
colored
slides
(幻灯片).
There
must
be
hundreds
of
slides
of
Lori
somewhere
in
the
house
that
Lori
has
never
seen
or
doesn’t
remember.”
After
digesting
Marilyn’s
remarks,
I
agreed.
“After
Lori
leaves,
we’ll
look
for
those
slides.
Who
knows,
we
may
find
more
slides
of
Lori
than
pictures
of
Lisa,”
I
joked.
Later
that
afternoon,
when
we
were
alone,
we
went
into
the
basement
where
we
had
stored
the
boxes
that
we
had
brought
from
our
previous
home.
It
wasn’t
long
before
we
discovered
the
trays
of
slides,
and
for
the
rest
of
the
afternoon
we
looked
at
each
tray,
pointing
out
those
slides
that
highlighted
Lori.
“What
are
you
going
to
do?”
Marilyn
asked.
“It’s
her
birthday
in
a
few
weeks,”
I
said,
“We’ll
select
about
one
hundred
slides
with
Lori
and
convert
(转换,转变)
them
into
pictures,
put
them
into
an
album
and
give
to
her
as
a
gift.
Idon’t
know
if
the
album
will
answer
her
question,
but
at
least
she’ll
know
that
we
care
enough
to
find
her
an
answer.”
注意:
1.
续写词数应为150左右;
2.
请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答

It’s
the
one
on
Ocean
Road,
not
the
one
on
the
corner
of
Temple

and
Wood
Street.
W:
Great.
No
problem.
See
you
there.

M:
I
just
received
a
call
from
Larry,
saying
Mr.
Wang
can’t
give
the
presentation
tomorrow
at
our
company’s
annual
conference
being
held
at
the
Prince
Hotel,
because
of
a
sudden
illness
in
his
family.
He
asked
me
to
take
his
place
at
the
conference.
Would
you
happen
to
know
if
there
is
a
bus
or
subway
that
goes
directly
from
here?
W:
I
didn’t
know
that
you
were
going
to
give
a
speech
there.
In
fact,
Mr.
Singh
and
I
are
going
to
be
in
attendance,
and
we
are
planning
to
drive.
If
you’d
like,
you
can
ride
along
with
us.
M:
That
sounds
wonderful.
What
time
will
you
be
taking
off
?
W:
We
will
meet
here
at
7:00
since
it
only
takes
about
an
hour
to
get
there.
We
might
even
have
time
for
breakfast
once
we
get
there.

W:
Good
morning.
The
Writing
School.
Can
I
help
you?
M:
Oh,
hi.
I’m
ringing
about
the
online
writing
courses
you
advertise
on
the
Internet.
W:
OK.
You
can
see
on
our
website
that
we
have
a
lot
of
courses.
What
are
you
interested
in
doing?
M:
Well,
I
don’t
want
to
publish
anything.
I
just
want
to
raise
the
standard
of
my
own
writing.
W:
Yes,
it
depends
on
whether
you
want
to,
you
know,
write
creatively
or
for
fun.
We
also
have
fiction
writing
that
includes
writing
children’s
stories.
M:
Well,
I
work
in
an
advertising
agency,
so
I’d
like
to
write
better
so
that
I’d
like
my
salary
to
rise.
W:
OK,
so
we
can
send
you
our
brochure
for
business
writing
and
if
you
think
it’ll
be
right
for
you,
then
you
can
sign
up.
M:
Great.
What
happens
after
that?
W:
Then
we
send
you
the
course
pack.

W:
Jack,
congratulations
on
winning
the
Best
Actor
Award
tonight.
So
what
does
this
award
mean
to
you?
M:
Thanks!
Well,
I
enjoy
being
famous,
but
sometimes
I
struggle
with
it—being
constantly
in
the
public
eye
can
be
difficult.
W:
That’s
understandable.
When
did
you
first
know
you
wanted
to
be
an
actor?
M:
It
was
at
school,
when
I
played
Orsino
in
Shakespeare’s
Twelfth
Night.
W:
Was
that
your
big
break
(重大转机)?
M:
My
first
major
role
was
in
New
York
Summertime.
W:
How
did
your
life
change
after
that?
M:
I
was
suddenly
very
busy.
I
began
to
spend
a
lot
of
time
socializing
and
would
often
end
up
partying
late
into
the
night.
One
night,
while
I
was
filming
High
Seas,
I
had
too
much
to
drink
and
decided
to
drive
home.
I
crashed
a
car
and
badly
injured
my
right
leg.
There
was
a
lot
of
negative
news,
but
the
worst
thing
was
how
I
felt
about
myself.
I
couldn’t
believe
I’d
been
so
stupid!
W:
You
also
lost
your
role
in
High
Seas,
didn’t
you?
M:
Yes.
The
accident
was
a
real
turning
point
in
my
life.
After
that,
I
didn’t
touch
alcohol
again
for
almost
a
year.
Then
I
met
my
wife
Kerri
and
had
two
wonderful
twin
boys.
They
have
really
helped
me
to
accept
and
appreciate
life
on
and
off
stage.

Good
afternoon.
My
name’s
Debbie
Green
and
I’m
going
to
give
you
a
short
but
hopefully
interesting
introduction
to
working
at
this
hospital.
Because
a
hospital
environment
can
be
stressful,
we
always
encourage
our
staff
to
stay
fit
and
have
a
healthy
lifestyle.
So…
just
a
few
tips
first.
When
you
feel
hungry,
it’s
often
too
easy
to
grab
something
quick,
because
you’re
tired
or
busy.
Cooking
a
healthy
meal
takes
longer,
and
this
is
often
why
people
live
on
sandwiches
and
fast
food
instead.
Please
don’t
fall
into
this
unhealthy
trap.
Of
course,
you
have
to
do
a
little
exercise
and
keep
fit
as
well.
I
know
you’ll
have
a
lot
of
work
and
may
not
have
time
to
join
a
gym.
But
consider
how
often
you
take
the
lift,
rather
than
the
stairs,
or
how
often
you
drive
rather
than
walk.
Moving
on
to
health
and
safety,
I
want
to
point
out
that
it’s
quite
OK
to
take
a
break
any
time
that
you’re
not
busy.
We
know
that
when
there’s
an
emergency
you
may
have
to
miss
that
cup
of
tea
or
coffee
in
the
canteen
or
wherever
you
go,
but
generally
you
shouldn’t
work
for
more
than
three
hours
without
a
break,
otherwise
your
attention
levels
will
drop
and
you
could
then
make
a
careless
mistake.
