探究四:
1.exciting adj.使人兴奋的;令人激动的
常作定语和表语,作表语时,主语通常为物,强调事物所拥有的特征。
【拓展】excited的用法:
excited 感到激动的,兴奋的。常作表语,主语通常是人,强调人的情绪。
2.lovely adj.可爱的
英语中有一些和lovely一样以-ly结尾的词是形容词,而不是副词。如:friendly友好的; weekly每周的;lively轻快的,活跃的;lonely孤单的,寂寞的。
3.expensive adj.昂贵的
其反义词是cheap,意为“廉价的;便宜的”,其主语必须是货物、物品本身。如:
The car is so expensive. I can't afford it.
这辆车太贵了,我买不起。
【拓展】与high的用法辨析:
high 表示价格“高”,反义词low表示价格“低”,其主语为price。如:
She sold her house at a high price.
她高价出售了她的房子。
4.hear v.听到;听见
及物动词,强调“听”的结果,后接名词、代词或that从句。
【拓展】与listen的用法辨析:
listen为不及物动词,后接宾语时,要加介词to,强调“听”的动作。
重点句型
1.Today I went on a school trip.
今天我去参加了一次学校郊游。
go on a school trip表示“参加一次学校郊游”。其中go on a trip 意为“去郊游”,相当于take/have a trip。类似的还有go on a trip to…,表示“到……去旅行”。

2.Then the guide taught us how to make a model robot.
接着导游教我们如何制作机器人模型。
(1) taught为teach 的过去式,teach在此处作及物动词,其后接“疑问词+动词不定式”作宾语:teach sb. how to do sth.表示“教某人如何做某事”。teach也可构成短语:teach sb.sth.=teach sth. to sb.表示“教某人某事”。
(2) how to make a model robot是一个“疑问词+动词不定式”的结构。在此结构中,疑问词包括疑问代词what, which和疑问副词when, where, how, why。该结构常用来作宾语。
3.I didn't like the trip at all.
我一点都不喜欢这次行程。
not… at all意为“根本不;完全不;一点儿也不;丝毫也不”。
【拓展】not at all的用法:
(1) 当别人向你表示感谢时,可以用Not at all.(不用谢/不客气。)来回答,相当于You're welcome.如:
—Thank you very much for helping us.
—Not at all.
——非常感谢你能帮助我们。
——不用谢。
(2) 当别人因打扰你而向你致歉时,可以用Not at all.(没关系。)来回答,相当于It doesn't matter.如:
—I'm sorry I'm late.
—Oh, not at all. Please come in.
——对不起,我迟到了。
【语法提要】
1. 疑问词+动词不定式
疑问词what、which、when、how等包括疑问代词和疑问副词,这些疑问词和不定式一起构成了不定式短语。这种结构在句子中可作主语、宾语、表语等。
例句:I don’t know how to spell this word.我不知道怎样拼写这个单词。
2 .interested
interested adj. 感兴趣的”,通常用来作表语。be interested in…对……感兴趣。
例句:I’m interested in the film.我对这部电影感兴趣。
辨析:interested, interesting与interest
(1) interested adj. 感到有趣的,只作表语,主语是人。
be interested in sth.对某事(物)感兴趣;
be interested in doing sth.对做某事感兴趣。
I am interested in English.我对英语感兴趣。
(2) interesting adj. 有趣的,作表语或定语,主语是物。
That is an interesting film. 那是一部有趣的电影。
The book is very interesting. 这本书很有趣。
(3) interest n. 兴趣,places of interest名胜。
His main interests are reading and playing the piano.
他的主要兴趣是读书和弹钢琴。
He knows many places of interest.他知道许多名胜。
