一般过去时(一)
1.一般过去时的基本定义
一般过去时表示在过去某一时间发生的动作或存在的状态,也可以表示在过去某一阶段经常、反复做的动作。
2.与一般过去时连用的时间状语有:yesterday; last week/month/year; two days/months ago; the day before yesterday; in 2020; in those days; just now; a moment ago等。
3.一般过去时的句式结构
1) 含连系动词be的一般过去时的句式:
肯定句 主语+was/were+其他.
否定句 主语+was not(wasn't)/were not(weren't)+其他.
一般疑问句 Was/Were+主语+其他?
肯定回答:Yes,主语+was/were.
否定回答:No,主语+wasn't/weren't.
特殊疑问句 特殊疑问词+was/were+主语+其他?
2) 含实义动词的一般过去时的句式:
肯定句 主语+动词过去式+其他.
否定句 主语+did not(或didn't)+动词原形+其他.
一般疑问句 Did+主语+动词原形+其他?
肯定回答:Yes,主语+did.
否定回答:No,主语+didn't.
特殊疑问句 特殊疑问词+did+主语+动词原形+其他?
4. 动词过去式的构成
(1)规则动词过去式的构成:
①一般直接在动词后加-ed。如:play→played; wait→waited; wash→washed。
②以不发音的字母e结尾的动词后加-d。如:like→liked; live→lived。
③以辅音字母加y结尾的动词,变y为i,再加-ed。如:study→studied; carry→carried。
④以“辅音字母+元音字母+辅音字母”结尾的重读闭音节动词,先双写后面的辅音字母,再加-ed。如:stop→stopped; plan→planned。
(2)不规则动词的时态变化需要参照课本附表特殊记忆。如:be→was/were;go→went;ride→rode;feed→fed;take→took;see→saw;do→did;grow→grew;eat→ate;buy→bought;can→could;hear→heard;have→had;swim→swam。
【注意】规则动词的过去式的读音也有规律可循:清辅音后读作/t/; 浊辅音和元音后读作/d/。
