hardly和hard形式上很接近,但意义截然不同。

(一)过去进行时
一、概念
表示过去某个时刻或过去一段时间,正在进行的动作。
二、句子结构:
主语

时间状语词:at

等连用,
或者用另一动作来表示过去的时间。
如:They

(二)过去进行时与一般过去时
过去进行时着重描述当时正在持续进行的动作,它的特点是:暂时,持续和未完成,强调过程;一般过去时表示发生过的动作或存在的状态,即表示动作发生过,而且已经结束了,强调结果。

(三)When,
While
区别:
1.
由when引导的时间状语从句,主句用过去进行时,从句应用一般过去时;
由while引导的时间状语从句,主句用一般过去时,从句应用过去进行时。

the

in.
2.
如果从句和主句的动作同时发生,两句都用过去进行时的时候,多用while引导。
