第一节(共11小题:每小题2.5分,满分27.5分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的四个选项(A、B、C和D)中选出最佳选项,并在答题卡上将该项涂黑。
A
When
I
was
a
boy,our
extended,immigrant
family
would
sometimes
gather
at
my
aunt's
tiny
house
over
the
summer.Relatives
from
all
over
the
country
would
come
to
visit.The
adults
would
crowd
together
in
the
living
room
to
talk
and
catch
up
on
each
other
's
lives.And
the
kids
would
be
sent
out
into
the
front
yard
to
play
when
dinner
was
slowly
cooked
for
all
of
us.
Those
were
the
days
before
video
games,smart
phones,and
motorized
toys,so
we
often
ended
up
playing
an
old
game.I
remember
one
of
those
moments
especially.As
I
was
the
youngest
and
smallest
of
all
the
kids
there,I
got
caught
first
and
couldn't
catch
anyone
else.My
brothers
and
cousins
were
all
too
fast
for
me,and
I
grew
more
and
more
frustrated.Finally
my
face
fell
first
into
the
dirt.I
got
up
with
tears
forming
in
my
eyes.Then
I
saw
one
of
my
female
cousins
Susan
standing
there.She
started
to
run
but
was
going
much
slower
than
before.I
easily
caught
up
and
seized
her.
Then
she
turned
to
me,smiled,and
said,"I'm
it!You'd
better
run!"I
ran
off
laughing
with
joy
while
she
turned
and
started
to
chase
others.
Now
I
see
how
her
act
of
kindness
that
day
saved
me
from
sadness
and
made
my
joy
return.It
didn't
matter
that
we
hardly
ever
saw
each
other.I
know
we
are
family
and
she
loves
me.
In
her
wonderful
book
Box
of
Butterflies,Roma
Downey
writes,"We
are
all
one,we
all
belong
to
each
other,and
we
are
one
big,beautiful
family."Perhaps
it
is
time
we
all
started
to
treat
each
other
that
way.Perhaps
it
is
time
we
shared
our
love,our
kindness,our
laughter,and
our
joy
with
everyone
without
fear.Perhaps
it
is
time
to
finally
and
forever
bring
this
world
together
in
one
big
family
reunion.
21.The
author
was
able
to
catch
Susan
because___________.

running
C.Susan
gave
her
a
chance
D.Susan
wanted
to
chase
others
22.What
can
be
inferred
from
the
passage?
A.The
author
is
grateful
for
what
Susan
did
to
her.
B.The
author
can't
meet
Susan
any
more.
C.The
author
urges
others
to
love
their
family.
D.The
author
believes
the
world
will
become
a
big
family.

the
passage?
A.A
Memory
of
My
Childhood
B.Sharing
of
Goodness
Unites
Us
C.Kindness
Brightens
Our
Life
D.A
Good

B
By
the
end
of
the
century,
if
not
sooner,
the
world’s
oceans
will
be
bluer
and
greener
thanks
to
a
warming
climate,
according
to
a
new
study.
At
the
heart
of
the
phenomenon
lie
tiny
marine
microorganisms(海洋微生物)
called
phytoplankton.
Because
of
the
way
light
reflects
off
the
organisms,
these
phytoplankton
create
colourful
patterns
at
the
ocean
surface.
Ocean
colour
varies
from
green
to
blue,
depending
on
the
type
and
concentration
of
phytoplankton.
Climate
change
will
fuel
the
growth
of
phytoplankton
in
some
areas,
while
reducing
it
in
other
spots,
leading
to
changes
in
the
ocean抯
appearance.
Phytoplankton
live
at
the
ocean
surface,
where
they
pull
carbon
dioxide(二氧化碳)
into
the
ocean
while
giving
off
oxygen.
When
these
organisms
die,
they
bury
carbon
in
the
deep
ocean,
an
important
process
that
helps
to
regulate
the
global
climate.
But
phytoplankton
are
vulnerable
to
the
ocean’s
warming
trend.
Warming
changes
key
characteristics
of
the
ocean
and
can
affect
phytoplankton
growth,
since
they
need
not
only
sunlight
and
carbon
dioxide
to
grow,
but
also
nutrients.
Stephanie
Dutkiewicz,
a
scientist
in
MIT抯
Center
for
Global
Change
Science,
built
a
climate
model
that
projects
changes
to
the
oceans
throughout
the
century.
In
a
world
that
warms
up
by
3℃,
it
found
that
multiple
changes
to
the
colour
of
the
oceans
would
occur.
The
model
projects
that
currently
blue
areas
with
little
phytoplankton
could
become
even
bluer.
But
in
some
waters,
such
as
those
of
the
Arctic,
a
warming
will
make
conditions
riper
for
phytoplankton,
and
these
areas
will
turn
greener.
揘ot
only
are
the
quantities
of
phytoplankton
in
the
ocean
changing.
she
said,
揵ut
the
type
of
phytoplankton
is
changing.
And
why
does
that
matter?
Phytoplankton
are
the
base
of
the
food
web.
If
certain
kinds
begin
to
disappear
from
the
ocean,
Dutkiewicz
said,
搃t
will
change
the
type
of
fish
that
will
be
able
to
survive.
Those
kinds
of
changes
could
affect
the
food
chain.
Whatever
colour
changes
the
ocean
experiences
in
the
coming
decades
will
probably
be
too
gradual
and
unnoticeable,
but
they
could
mean
significant
changes.
揑t抣l
be
a
while
before
we
can
statistically
show
that
the
changes
are
happening
because
of
climate
change,
Dutkiewicz
said,
揵ut
the
change
in
the
colour
of
the
ocean
will
be
one
of
the
early
warning
signals
that
we
really
have
changed
our
planet.

How
does
an
ecosystem
(生态系统)
work?
What
makes
the
population
of
different
species
the
way
they
are?
Why
are
there
so
many
flies
and
so
few
wolves?
To
find
an
answer,
scientists
have
built
mathematical,
models
of
food
webs,
noting
who
eats
whom
and
how
much
each
one
eats.
With
such
models,
scientists
have
found
out
some
key
principles
operating
in
food
webs.
Most
food
webs,
for
instance,
consist
of
many
weak
links
rather
than
a
few
strong
ones.
When
a
predator(掠食动物)
always
eats
huge
numbers
of
a
single
prey(猎物),
the
two
species
are
strongly
linked;when
a
predator
lives
on
various
species,
they
are
weakly
linked.
Food
webs
may
be
dominated
by
many
weak
links
because
that
arrangement
is
more
stable
over
the
long
term.
If
a
predator
can
eat
several
species,
it
can
survive
the
extinction(灭绝)of
one
of
them.
And
if
a
predator
can
move
on
to
another
species
that
is
easier
to
find
when
a
prey
species
becomes
rare,
the
switch
allows
to
original
prey
to
recover.
The
weak
links
may
thus
keep
species
from
driving
one
another
to
extinction.
Mathematical
models
have
also
revealed
that
food
webs
may
be
unstable,
where
small
changes
of
top
predators
can
lead
to
big
effects
throughout
entire
ecosystems.
In
the
1960s,
scientists
proposed
that
predators
at
the
top
of
a
food
web
had
a
surprising
amount
of
control
over
the
size
of
populations
of
other
species-including
species
they
did
not
directly
attack.
And
unplanned
human
activities
have
proved
the
idea
of
top-down
control
by
top
predators
to
be
true.
In
the
ocean,
we
fished
for
top
predators
such
as
cod
on
an
industrial
scale,
while
on
land,
we
killed
off
large
predators
such
as
wolves.
These
actions
have
greatly
affected
the
ecological
balance.
Scientists
have
built
an
early-warning
system
based
on
mathematical
models.
Ideally,
the
system
would
tell
us
when
to
adapt
human
activities
that
are
pushing
an
ecosystem
toward
a
breakdown
or
would
even
allow
us
to
pull
an
ecosystem
back
from
the
borderline.
Prevention
is
key,
scientists
say,
because
once
ecosystems
pass
their
tipping
point(临界点),
it
is
remarkably
difficult
for
them
to
return.
31.
What
have
scientists
discovered

the
help
of
mathematical
of
food
webs?

habits
of

in
food
webs.

approaches
to
studying
the
species
in
the
ecosystems.
D.
The
differences
between
weak
and
strong
links
in
food
webs.
32.
A
strong
link
is
found
between
two
species
when
a
predator______.
A.
has
a
wide
food
choice.
B.
can
easily
find
new
prey.
C.
sticks
to
one
prey
species
D.
can
quickly
move
to
another
place
33.
What
will
happen
if
the
populations
of
top
predators
in
a
food
web
greatly
decline?
A.
The
prey
species
they
directly
attack
will
die
out.
B.
The
species
they
indirectly
attack
will
turn
into
top
predators.
C.
The
living
environment
of
other
species
will
remain
unchanged.
D.
The
population
of
other
species
will
experience
unexpected
changes.
34.

human
activities
greatly
upset
ecosystems.
B.
Rapid
economic
development
threatens
animal
habitats.
C.
Species
of
commercial
value
dominate
other
species.
D.
Industrial
activities
help
keep
food
webs
stable.
35.

does
an
early-warning
system
help
us
maintain
the
ecological
balance?

getting
illegal
practices
under
control.
B.
By
stopping
us
from
killing
large
predators.
C.
By
bringing
the
broken-down
ecosystems
back
to
normal.

By
signaling
the
urgent
need
for
taking
preventive
action.

A
headache
is
a
pain
in
the
head
which
almost
everyone
feels
at
one
time
or
another.Almost
half
of
all
people
have
a
headache
at
least
once
a
year.Most
headaches
are
not
dangerous
but
they
get
in
the
way
of
your
work
and
disturb
your
life.
36.
Tension(紧张)headaches
usually
cause
a
slight
to
strong
pain
in
the
head.Many
people
describe
such
headaches
as
a
tightening
feeling.Some
headaches
cause
a
dull
pain
that
can
last
for
hours.
They
appear
anywhere
from
the
front
to
the
back
of
your
head.
About
20%of
all
headaches
are
migraines,which
are
strong
headaches
that
can
cause
extreme
pain.37
You
will
have
a
feeling
of
sickness
in
the
stomach,and
sometimes
you
may
see
flashes
of
light
shortly
before
migraines
attack.
Causes
of
headaches
38
Even
though
the
exact
causes
of
a
headache
are
not
clear,most
of
them
are
caused
by
the
widening
of
blood
vessels(血管)combined
with
chemicals
that
are
set
free
around
them.
Nerves
send
pain
messages
to
your
brain.There
are
many
factors
that
can
lead
to
a
headache,such
as
lack
of
sleep,stress,smoking
or
watching
TV
for
a
long
time.39.
How
to
fight
off
headaches
Pain
relievers(止痛剂)and
other
drugs
are
often
used
to
ease
headaches.Many
people
take
aspirin
when
they
have
a
headache.Doctors
also
suggest
that
patients
should
relax
when
they
experience
a
headache.In
some
cases,changing
your
diet
may
result
in
relieving
pain
and
weakening
headaches.
40
.This
may
not
make
headaches
disappear
completely
but
it
can
help
make
you
feel
better.
A.Types
of
headaches
B.Warning
signs
of
migraine
sufferers
C.They
can
last
as
long
as
a
couple
of
days.
D.Headaches
are
a
disorder
of
the
nervous
system.
E.And
you
should
exercise
regularly
and
get
a
lot
of
fresh
air.
F.There
are
so
many
natural
ways
to
relieve
a
violent
headache.
G.
Sometimes
headaches
can
also
be
caused
by
injuries
and

A
little
boy
selling
magazines
for
school
walked
up
to
a
house
that
people
hardly
visited.
The
house
was
very
old
and
the
owner
hardly
ever
came
out.
When
he
did
come
out
he
would
not
say
hello
to
neighbors
or
passers
by
but
simply
just
glare(瞪眼看)at
them.
The
boy
knocked
on
the
door
and
waited,
sweating
from
fear
of
the
old
man.
The
boy's
parents
told
him
to
stay
away
from
the
house.
A
lot
of
the
other
neighborhood
children
were
told
the
same
from
their
parents.
As
he
was
ready
to
walk
away
the
door
slowly
opened.
"
What
do
you
want?"
the
old
man
said.
The
little
boy
was
very
afraid
but
he
had
a
quota(份额)
to
meet
for
school
with
selling
the
magazines.
"Uh,
sir,
I
uh
am
selling
these
magazines
and
uh
I
was
wondering
if
you
would
like
to
buy
one."
The
old
man
just
stared
at
the
boy.
The
boy
could
see
inside
the
old
man's
house
and
saw
that
he
had
dog
figurines(小狗雕像)
on
the
wall.
"Do
you
collect
dogs?"
the
little
boy
asked.
"Yes,
I
have
many
collections
in
my
house.
They
are
my
family
here.
They
are
all
I
have."
The
boy
then
felt
sorry
for
the
man,
as
it
seemed
that
he
was
a
very
lonely
soul.
"Well,
I
do
have

magazine
here
for
collectors.
It
is
perfect
for
you.
I
also
have
one
about
dogs
since
you

dogs
so
much."
The
old
man
was
ready
to
close
the
door
on
the
boy
and
said,
"No
boy,
I
don't
need
any
magazines
of
any
kind,
now
goodbye."
The
little
boy
was
sad
that
he
was
not
going
to
make
his
quota
with
the
sale.
He
was
also
sad
for
the
old
man
being
so
alone
in
the
big
house
that
he
owned.
The
boy
went
home
and
then
had
an
idea.
He
had
a
little
dog
figurine
that
he
got
some
years
ago
from
an
aunt.
The
figurine
did
not
mean
nearly
as
much
to
him
since
he
had
a
real
live
dog
and
a
large
family.

阅读理解(共两节,满分40分)
第一节(共11小题:每小题2.5分,满分27.5分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的四个选项(A、B、C和D)中选出最佳选项,并在答题卡上将该项涂黑。
A
When
I
was
a
boy,our
extended,immigrant
family
would
sometimes
gather
at
my
aunt's
tiny
house
over
the
summer.Relatives
from
all
over
the
country
would
come
to
visit.The
adults
would
crowd
together
in
the
living
room
to
talk
and
catch
up
on
each
other
's
lives.And
the
kids
would
be
sent
out
into
the
front
yard
to
play
when
dinner
was
slowly
cooked
for
all
of
us.
Those
were
the
days
before
video
games,smart
phones,and
motorized
toys,so
we
often
ended
up
playing
an
old
game.I
remember
one
of
those
moments
especially.As
I
was
the
youngest
and
smallest
of
all
the
kids
there,I
got
caught
first
and
couldn't
catch
anyone
else.My
brothers
and
cousins
were
all
too
fast
for
me,and
I
grew
more
and
more
frustrated.Finally
my
face
fell
first
into
the
dirt.I
got
up
with
tears
forming
in
my
eyes.Then
I
saw
one
of
my
female
cousins
Susan
standing
there.She
started
to
run
but
was
going
much
slower
than
before.I
easily
caught
up
and
seized
her.
Then
she
turned
to
me,smiled,and
said,"I'm
it!You'd
better
run!"I
ran
off
laughing
with
joy
while
she
turned
and
started
to
chase
others.
Now
I
see
how
her
act
of
kindness
that
day
saved
me
from
sadness
and
made
my
joy
return.It
didn't
matter
that
we
hardly
ever
saw
each
other.I
know
we
are
family
and
she
loves
me.
In
her
wonderful
book
Box
of
Butterflies,Roma
Downey
writes,"We
are
all
one,we
all
belong
to
each
other,and
we
are
one
big,beautiful
family."Perhaps
it
is
time
we
all
started
to
treat
each
other
that
way.Perhaps
it
is
time
we
shared
our
love,our
kindness,our
laughter,and
our
joy
with
everyone
without
fear.Perhaps
it
is
time
to
finally
and
forever
bring
this
world
together
in
one
big
family
reunion.
21.The

running
C.Susan
gave
her
a
chance
D.Susan
wanted
to
chase
others
22.What

be
inferred
from
the
passage?

author
is
grateful
for
what
Susan
did
to
her.

Susan
any
more.
C.The

of

it
in

leading
to

Phytoplankton
live
at
the
ocean

where
they
pull
carbon

into
the
ocean
while
giving
off
oxygen.
When
these
organisms
die,
they
bury
carbon
in
the
deep
ocean,
an
important
process
that
helps
to
regulate
the
global
climate.
But
phytoplankton

built
a

that
projects
changes

the

In
a

But
in

And
why
does
that
matter?
Phytoplankton

If

from
the

Dutkiewicz
said,

Those

【解析】
本文为一篇说明文。一项最新研究表明,由于气候变暖,世界海洋将会变得更蓝、更绿。这一现象的原因是因为一种叫做浮游植物的微小海洋微生物,因为光线反射的作用,它们在海洋表面形成了五颜六色的图案,现在浮游植物受到海洋变暖趋势的影响,让浮游植物的生长更加旺盛,所以海洋相应会变得更蓝、更绿。
【47题详解】
主旨大意题。根据第一段By

nutrients.可知,气候变暖会改变海洋的主要特征,并会影响浮游植物的生长。由此可判断,浮游植物很容易受到海洋变暖趋势的影响,也就是很敏感。故A项正确。
【49题详解】
推理判断题。根据第四段The

D
How
does
an
ecosystem
(生态系统)
work?
What
makes
the
population
of
different
species
the
way
they
are?
Why
are
there
so
many
flies
and
so
few
wolves?
To
find
an
answer,
scientists
have
built
mathematical,
models
of
food
webs,
noting
who
eats
whom
and
how
much
each
one
eats.
With
such
models,
scientists
have
found
out
some
key
principles
operating
in
food
webs.
Most
food
webs,
for
instance,
consist
of
many
weak
links
rather
than
a
few
strong
ones.
When
a
predator(掠食动物)
always
eats
huge
numbers
of
a
single
prey(猎物),
the
two
species
are
strongly
linked;when
a
predator
lives
on
various
species,
they
are
weakly
linked.
Food
webs
may
be
dominated
by
many
weak
links
because
that
arrangement
is
more
stable
over
the
long
term.
If
a
predator
can
eat
several
species,
it
can
survive
the
extinction(灭绝)of
one
of
them.
And
if
a
predator
can
move
on
to
another
species
that
is
easier
to
find
when
a
prey
species
becomes
rare,
the
switch
allows
to
original
prey
to
recover.
The
weak
links
may
thus
keep
species
from
driving
one
another
to
extinction.
Mathematical
models
have
also
revealed
that
food
webs
may
be
unstable,
where
small
changes
of
top
predators
can
lead
to
big
effects
throughout
entire
ecosystems.
In
the
1960s,
scientists
proposed
that
predators
at
the
top
of
a
food
web
had
a
surprising
amount
of
control
over
the
size
of
populations
of
other
species-including
species
they
did
not
directly
attack.
And
unplanned
human
activities
have
proved
the
idea
of
top-down
control
by
top
predators
to
be
true.
In
the
ocean,
we
fished
for
top
predators
such
as
cod
on
an
industrial
scale,
while
on
land,
we
killed
off
large
predators
such
as
wolves.
These
actions
have
greatly
affected
the
ecological
balance.
Scientists
have
built
an
early-warning
system
based
on
mathematical
models.
Ideally,
the
system
would
tell
us
when
to
adapt
human
activities
that
are
pushing
an
ecosystem
toward
a
breakdown
or
would
even
allow
us
to
pull
an
ecosystem
back
from
the
borderline.
Prevention
is
key,
scientists
say,
because
once
ecosystems
pass
their
tipping
point(临界点),
it
is
remarkably
difficult
for
them
to
return.
31.
What
have
scientists
discovered
with
the
help
of
mathematical
of
food
webs?
A.
The
living
habits
of
species
in
food
webs.
B.
The
rules

food
webs
of
the
ecosystems.
C.
The
approaches
to
studying
the
species
in
the
ecosystems.
D.
The
differences
between
weak
and
strong
links
in
food
webs.
32.
A
strong
link
is
found
between
two
species
when
a
predator______.
A.
has
a
wide
food
choice.
B.
can
easily
find
new
prey.
C.
sticks
to
one
prey
species
D.
can
quickly
move
to
another
place
33.
What
will
happen
if
the
populations
of
top
predators
in
a
food
web
greatly
decline?
A.
The
prey
species
they
directly
attack
will
die
out.
B.
The
species
they
indirectly
attack
will
turn
into
top
predators.
C.
The
living
environment
of
other
species
will
remain
unchanged.
D.
The
population
of
other
species
will
experience
unexpected
changes.
34.
What
conclusion
can
be
drawn
from
the
examples
in
Paragraph
4?
A.
Uncontrolled
human
activities
greatly
upset
ecosystems.
B.
Rapid
economic
development
threatens
animal
habitats.
C.
Species
of
commercial
value
dominate
other
species.
D.
Industrial
activities
help
keep
food
webs

35.
How
does
an
early-warning

help
us
maintain
the
ecological
balance?
A.
By
getting
illegal
practices
under
control.
B.
By
stopping
us
from
killing
large
predators.
C.
By
bringing
the
broken-down

【解析】
这是一篇记叙文。文章讲述了安东尼?根特尔斯从他最喜欢的书《道德经》中汲取了日常智慧,在形势信息板上的言论引发了首都各地效仿这一做法的热潮。
【66题详解】
考查形容词比较级。句意:“没有什么东西比水更柔软更有弹性,但也没有什么东西能抵抗它。”根据softer和空后的than可知,此处使用flexible的比较级。故填more。
【67题详解】
考查非谓语动词。句意:在伦敦南部的Oval车站,这些食物为地铁乘客提供了精神食粮。
分析句子结构可知,已有谓语动词are,设空处需填非谓语动词。serve和其逻辑主语
food
for
thought为动宾关系,需填过去分词作后置定语。故填served。
【68题详解】
考查动词时态语态和主谓一致。句意:14年以来,客户服务经理安东尼?根特尔斯从他最喜欢的书《道德经》中汲取了日常智慧,为游客们“面无表情”的脸上增添了光彩。since引导的从句使用一般过去时,inspire和Anthony
Gentles之间是被动关系,一般过去时被动语态的基本句型是:was/were+done,主语为单数名词,谓语动词使用第三人称单数形式。故填was
inspired。
【69题详解】
考查反身代词。句意:每天他自己在黑板上写一句话。分析句子结构,主语和宾语一致,需用he对应的反身代词himself。故填himself。
【70题详解】
考查非谓语动词。句意:根特尔斯说,他引用古代中国的名言,是为了让勇敢地走进地铁的人们感到更受欢迎。分析句子结构,of为介词,设空处需填动名词作宾语。故填trying。
【71题详解】
考查介词。句意:在无数次引用之后,根特尔斯最喜欢的一句话仍然是他写的第一句话:“千里之行,始于足下”。begin
with为固定短语,意为“以……开始”。故填with。
【72题详解】
考查副词。句意:因为它从根本上是真实的。分析句子结构,设空处修饰形容词true,需用副词。故填fundamentally。
【73题详解】
考查连接词。句意:“无论你过着怎样的生活,无论你的处境如何,你都必须迈出第一步。”这里是no
matter+疑问词的结构,从句中缺少方式状语,需用连接词how。故填how。
【74题详解】
考查定语从句。句意:自2007年以来,他的同事格伦?萨瑟兰(Glen
Sutherland)接过了接力棒,他在形势信息板上的言论引发了首都各地效仿这一做法的热潮。分析句子结构,设空处引导非限制性定语从句,先行词Glen
Sutherland在定语从句中作定语,需用关系代词whose引导从句。故填whose。
【75题详解】
考查名词。句意:自2007年以来,他的同事格伦?萨瑟兰(Glen
Sutherland)接过了接力棒,他在形势信息板上的言论引发了首都各地效仿这一做法的热潮。分析句子结构,of为介词,设空处需填enthusiastic的名词形式,enthusiasm意为“热情,热忱”。故填enthusiasm。

"Do

the
little
boy
asked.
"Yes,
I

They

They

I

The

"Well,

It

I

The

the
door
on
the
boy
and
said,
"No

I

The
little

was
sad
that
he

He
was

【解析】
【分析】
这是一篇记叙文。文章讲述的是小男孩和一个孤独的收藏老人的故事。在小男孩的感化下,老人走出了自己的家门,渐渐地养成了对每个人微笑的习惯,并积极、热情地向孩子们展示他收藏的珍贵藏品。
【详解】1.第一段给出的首句是The
boy
headed
back
down
to
the
old
man's
house
with
the
figurine.这一句是故事发展的转折点。可以从“他又敲了敲门,老人打开了门。”入手扩展开去,接下来故事应该这样发展:“孩子,我告诉过你不要看杂志。”“不,先生。但我想送你一件礼物。”男孩把雕像递给他,那人的脸亮了起来。“这是给你的。”老人很惊讶。——无论从何角度拓展,需注意该段最后一句“从来没有人给过他这样的礼物,并对他表示友好。”与续写第二段首句呼应。
2.第二段所给首句From
that
day
on
something
changed
inside
the
old
man.这一句呼应前文,紧接着可以从“他迫不及待地想见到他的妹妹,分享这个好消息。”入手续写。接下来故事情节应该是这样发展:他开始走出屋子去见人。他和那个男孩成了朋友。男孩甚至带着他的狗来看望他。渐渐地,他养成了对每个人微笑的习惯,并积极、热情地向孩子们展示他收藏的珍贵藏品。
【点睛】本文是一篇续写。文章结构严谨,续写思路清晰,环环相扣,同时句中使用高级句子。But
I
want
to
give
you
a
gift.并列连词表示转折;The
old
man
was
amazed.句中使用一般过去时态的被动语态;He
started
coming
out
of
the
house
and
meeting
people.句中动名词作宾语;He
used
to
collect
figurines
in
memory
of
a
real
live
dog
which
had
kept
company
with
him
for
a
long
time
before
it
died.定语从句和时间状语从句用在句中。

A
When
I
was
a
boy,our
extended,immigrant
family
would
sometimes
gather
at
my
aunt's
tiny
house
over
the
summer.Relatives
from
all
over
the
country
would
come
to
visit.The
adults
would
crowd
together
in
the
living
room
to
talk
and
catch
up
on
each
other
's
lives.And
the
kids
would
be
sent
out
into
the
front
yard
to
play
when
dinner
was
slowly
cooked
for
all
of
us.
Those
were
the
days
before
video
games,smart
phones,and
motorized
toys,so
we
often
ended
up
playing
an
old
game.I
remember
one
of
those
moments
especially.As
I
was
the
youngest
and
smallest
of
all
the
kids
there,I
got
caught
first
and
couldn't
catch
anyone
else.My
brothers
and
cousins
were
all
too
fast
for
me,and
I
grew
more
and
more
frustrated.Finally
my
face
fell
first
into
the
dirt.I
got
up
with
tears
forming
in
my
eyes.Then
I
saw
one
of
my
female
cousins
Susan
standing
there.She
started
to
run
but
was
going
much
slower
than
before.I
easily
caught
up
and
seized
her.
Then
she
turned
to
me,smiled,and
said,"I'm
it!You'd
better
run!"I
ran
off
laughing
with
joy
while
she
turned
and
started
to
chase
others.
Now
I
see
how
her
act
of
kindness
that
day
saved
me
from
sadness
and
made
my
joy
return.It
didn't
matter
that
we
hardly
ever
saw
each
other.I
know
we
are
family
and
she
loves
me.
In
her
wonderful
book
Box
of
Butterflies,Roma
Downey
writes,"We
are
all
one,we
all
belong
to
each
other,and
we
are
one
big,beautiful
family."Perhaps
it
is
time
we
all
started
to
treat
each
other
that
way.Perhaps
it
is
time
we
shared
our
love,our
kindness,our
laughter,and
our
joy
with
everyone
without
fear.Perhaps
it
is
time
to
finally
and
forever
bring
this
world
together
in
one
big
family
reunion.

to
chase
others
22.What

Susan
any
more.
C.The

others
to

their

of
My
Childhood

Our
Life
D.A

B
By
the
end
of
the
century,
if
not
sooner,
the
world’s
oceans
will
be
bluer
and
greener
thanks
to
a
warming
climate,
according
to
a
new
study.
At
the
heart
of
the
phenomenon
lie
tiny
marine
microorganisms(海洋微生物)
called
phytoplankton.
Because
of
the
way
light
reflects
off
the
organisms,
these
phytoplankton
create
colourful
patterns
at
the
ocean
surface.
Ocean
colour
varies
from
green
to
blue,
depending
on
the
type
and
concentration
of
phytoplankton.
Climate
change
will
fuel
the
growth
of
phytoplankton
in
some
areas,
while
reducing
it
in
other
spots,
leading
to
changes
in
the
ocean抯
appearance.
Phytoplankton
live
at
the
ocean
surface,
where
they
pull
carbon
dioxide(二氧化碳)
into
the
ocean
while
giving
off
oxygen.
When
these
organisms
die,
they
bury
carbon
in
the
deep
ocean,
an
important
process
that
helps
to
regulate
the
global
climate.
But
phytoplankton
are
vulnerable
to
the
ocean’s
warming
trend.
Warming
changes
key
characteristics
of
the
ocean
and
can
affect
phytoplankton
growth,
since
they
need
not
only
sunlight
and
carbon
dioxide
to
grow,
but
also
nutrie
