For
or
Against?—That
Is
the
Question
Andy
is
the
most
unreasonable
and
he
makes
me
so
angry
that
I
could
even
scream
sometimes!
Of
course,
I
sort
of
have
to
love
him
because
he
is
my
twin
brother.
Andy
and
Amy
(that
is
me)
have
the
same
curly
hair
and
dark
eyes
and
are
equally
stubborn.
Yet,
on
most
issues
we
usually
take
opposite
positions.
Just
this
week
in
our
school,
there
was
a
heated
discussion
on
whether
to
adopt
a
school
dress
code.
Every
student
would
be
required
to
wear
a
uniform.
The
teachers
are
divided:
Some
are
in
favor
of
the
uniforms
while
others
are
opposed.
The
principal
has
asked
the
students
to
express
their
opinions
by
voting
on
the
issue
before
decisions
are
made.
But
she
will
have
the
final
word
on
the
dress
code.
I
think
a
dress
code
is
a
good
idea.
The
reason
is
simple.
The
less
I
have
to
decide
first
thing
in
the
morning,
the
better.
I
can't
tell
you
how
many
mornings
I
look
into
my
closet
and
just
stare,
unable
to
decide
what
to
wear.
Andy
is
shocked
at
my
opinion.
Last
night,
he
even
dragged
out
my
parents'
high
school
photo
albums
to
show
me
how
brilliant
they
looked
without
uniforms!
He
also
declared,
"Bruce
Springsteen
never
wore
a
school
uniform.
Bob
Dylan
wouldn't
have
been
caught
dead
in
a
school
uniform!
Besides,
when
I
am
feeling
political,
I
want
to
be
able
to
wear
clothes
made
of
natural,
undyed
fibers,
sewn
or
assembled
in
countries
that
do
not
pollute
the
environment
or
exploit
child
labor.
If
I
have
to
wear
a
uniform,
I
won't
feel
like
me!"
To
that
I
replied,
"So
your
personal
heroes
didn't
wear
school
uniforms.
But
they
went
to
high
school
about
a
million
years
ago!
I
feel
sorry
for
you
since
I
had
no
idea
that
your
ego(自我)is
so
fragile
that
it
would
be
completely
destroyed
by
a
uniform."
That
really
made
him
angry
and
he
shouted,
"You're
just
copying
what
you
hear
that
new
music
teacher
saying
because
you
are
crazy
about
him!"
Fortunately,
the
bell
rang
before
we
could
do
each
other
physical
harm,
and
we
went
to
our
separate
classes.
The
vote
for
or
against
uniforms
took
place
later
that
day.
The
results
of
the
vote
and
the
principal's
decision
will
be
announced
next
week.
I
wonder
what
it
will
be.
I
know
how
I
voted,
and
I'm
pretty
sure
I
know
how
Andy
voted.
How
would
you
vote---for
or
against?
4.

C
It
was
a
red-letter
day
in
the
history
of
medicine—“Target
Zero
Day”,
May
8th,
1980,
marking
the
complete
removal
of
smallpox,
a
terrifying
disease.
It
was
untreatable
but,
luckily,
it
turned
out
that
vaccination(接种疫苗)
provided
good
protection—
and
that
mass
immunization(免疫)
could
wipe
out
the
smallpox
virus
by
blocking
its
spread.
According
to
legend,
vaccination
was
invented
by
Dr
Edward
Jenner.
Jenner
showed
that
healthy
children
vaccinated
with
cowpox,
a
mild
infection
of
cattle,
could
not
catch
smallpox.
He
was
supposedly
inspired
by
a
comment
from
a
local
milkmaid,
but
there
is
evidence
that
the
idea
came
from
a
medical
friend,
John
Fewster,
who
had
experimented
with
cowpox.
Nevertheless,
Jenner
deserves
credit
for
introducing
vaccination
into
the
medical
mainstream
with
his
paper
published
in
1798.
In
1966,
160
years
after
the
prediction
that
vaccination
would
clean
off
the
disease,
the
World
Health
Organization
launched
its
Smallpox
Eradication
Programme.
This
heroic
11-year
drive
was
directed
by
two’
American
public
health
doctors,
DA
Henderson
and
Bill
Foege.
Their
hardships
were
enormous.
One
WHO
official
even
promised
to
eat
a
tyre
if
smallpox
was
removed.
Henderson
promised
to
send
him
the
tyre
and
wished
him
good
appetite.
But
Henderson
and
Foege’s
hard
work
paid
off—
three
years
after
the
last
smallpox
case
was
informed
(to
make
sure
no
outbreaks
had
been
missed)
Target
Zero
Day
was
declared.
40
years
on,
why
should
we
remember
Target
Zero
Day?
First,
to
celebrate
victory
of
preventative
medicine
and
freedom
from
a
cruel
disease.
Then,
we
must
remember
the
victims
of
smallpox.
It
had
previously
killed
1
in
12
worldwide.
In
1914,
a
Canadian
professor
warned
against
forgetting
smallpox,
which
was
fast
disappearing
from
North
America.
It
went
on
to
kill
at
least
another
250
million
people—
three
times
more
than
both
world
wars
combined.
Target
Zero
Day
also
reminds
us
of
undefeated
infections,
including
polio,
measles,
malaria,
and
of
course
the
coronavirus
Covid-19.
Let’s
recognize
Target
Zero
Day
for
what
it
is:a
milestone
in
world
history
and
a
monument
to
the
art
of
the
possible.
8.
What
inspired
Jenner
to
invent
the
vaccination?
A.
A
medical
friend.
B.
A
local
milkmaid.
C
Cattle.
D.
Children.
9.
What
is
the
writer’s
purpose
of
mentioning
the
WHO
official’s
promise?
A.
To
introduce
the
support
from
the
WHO.
B.
To
stress
the
importance
of
good
appetite.
C.
To
suggest
the
difficulty
in
removing
smallpox.
D.
To
show
his
determination
to
carry
on
the
drive.
10.
From
the
last
paragraph
we
can
infer
that
_______.
A.
Covid-19
will
be
conquered
soon
B.
world
wars
are
worse
than
infections
C.
Canadians
benefit
from
the
vaccine
most
D.
smallpox
is
a
terrifying
disease
11.
What
message
does
the
text
convey?
A.
Every
dog
has
his
day.
B.
A
good
beginning
is
half
the
battle.
C.
A
trouble
shared
is
a
trouble
halved.
D.
Nothing
is
impossible
to
a
willing
heart.
D
Would
you
give
your
Social
Security
Number
to
the
clerk
at
the
grocery
store?
Of
course
not
right?
Yet,
if
you’re
like
most
people,
you
wouldn’t
hesitate
to
give
out
a
different,
but
equally
important
number
to
the
same
person.
Experts
now
say
that
your
cellphone
number
may
be
more
pivotal
than
any
other
personal
information
in
the
eyes
of
spammers
and
identity
thieves.
In
other
words,
instead
of
handing
it
out,
you
should
guard
that
cellphone
number
with
your
life.
Today,
your
cellphone
number
will
likely
be
with
you
for
a
very
long
time.
That
means
if
spammers
get
your
cellphone
number,
it
will
be
much
harder
to
get
rid
of
them.
It
also
means
that
over
the
years,
your
cellphone
number
will
be
linked
to
a
lot
of
personal
information—from
contact
lists
to
bank
card
numbers,
all
information
that
hackers
would
love
to
get
their
hands
on.
A
few
years
ago,
German
security
researcher
Karsten
Nohl
showed
in
an
experiment
what
he
could
obtain
using
only
a
person’s
cellphone
number.
California
Congressman
Ted
Lieu
was
given
a
new
cellphone
for
a
day
and
Nohl
was
given
that
cellphone
number.
Using
just
that
number,
Nohl
was
able
to
find
Lieu’s
location
and
movements
throughout
Los
Angeles,
read
his
emails
and
text
messages,
and
record
phone
calls
between
Lieu
and
his
staff.
And
Nohl
did
all
of
this
from
his
office
in
Berlin
using
just
a
cellphone
number.
Still
think
it’s
a
good
idea
to
post
your
number
on
a
noticeboard?
It’s
safe
to
assume
that
Nohl
is
an
expert
when
it
comes
to
hacking,
but
even
the
ordinary
thief
can
use
your
cellphone
number
to
cause
harm
to
you.
When
you
sign
up
for
an
account
online,
you
usually
provide
your
email
address
and
a
password.
But
if
you
forget
that
password,
many
of
these
companies
will
send
you
a
password
retrieval
code
via
your
cellphone.
Let’s
say
you
post
something
for
sale
online
and
you
include
your
name,
email,
and
cellphone
number.
You’ve
now
given
a
potential
thief
everything
he
needs
to
hack
into
any
of
your
online
accounts.
Therefore,
it
just
makes
sense
to
protect
yourself
by
guarding
that
number
as
closely
as
you
would
guard
any
other
personal
information.
12.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“pivotal”
in
Paragraph
2
most
probably
mean?
A.
familiar.
B.
vital.
C.
accessible.
D.
manageable.
13.
What
does
the
third
paragraph
mainly
talk
about?
A.
Why
people
seldom
change
their
cellphone
numbers.
B.
Why
people
need
to
take
care
of
their
cellphone
numbers.
C.
How
to
protect

personal
information.
D.
How
to
get
rid
of

14.
What
did
Karsten
Nohl’s
experiment
intend
to
prove?
A.
Nohl
is
a
real
expert
in
hacking.
B.
Lieu’s
new

in
a
good
book.
Whether
it's
a
crime
story
or
a
biography
of
someone's
amazing
life,
it's
good

Professor
Philip

Reading

and
found
that
it's
reading
literature

written
work
thought
to
have
artistic
value,
that
has
the
best
effect.
He
told
the
BBC
that
when
reading
something
for
pleasure,
"...the
brain
begins
to
work
from
different
parts,
and
it
gets
excited,
it
gets
pre

emotional.
___18___”
Of
course,
it's
easy
in
our
smartphone
generation
to
abandon
a
good
book
and
play
with
our
phones
instead.
But
opening
up
a
paperback
could
be
a
simple
way
to
help
maintain
our
mental
health.

you've
been
anxious
about
for
weeks
from
someone
else's
point
of
view.
___20___
If
the
book
list
doesn't
appeal,
you
could
read
book
reviews,
visit
a
library
or
bookshop
or
ask
a
friend.
Once
you've
found
the
right
text,
you'll
be
fascinated!
A.
You
can
see
the
brain
coming
to
life.
B.
And
you
could
always
use
an
e-reader.
C.
You
can
lend
it
to
friends
and
forget
you
did.
D.
It
may
seem
obvious
that
reading
is
good
for
us.
E.
It's
thought
that
they
can
help
you
set
targets
and
find
focus.
F.
Reading
books
is
actually
being
identified
as
a
treatment
to
sickness.
G.
If
you're
not
a
concerned
reader,
it
can
be
hard
to

For
or
Against?—That
Is
the
Question
Andy
is
the
most
unreasonable
and
he
makes
me
so
angry
that
I
could
even
scream
sometimes!
Of
course
I
sort
of
have
to
love
him
because
he
is
my
twin
brother.
Andy
and
Amy
(that
is
me)
have
the
same
curly
hair
and
dark
eyes
and
are
equally
stubborn.
Yet,
on
most
issues
we
usually
take
opposite
positions.
Just
this
week
in
our
school,
there
was
a
heated
discussion
on
whether
to
adopt
a
school
dress
code.
Every
student
would
be
required
to
wear
a
uniform.
The
teachers
are
divided:
Some
are
in
favor
of
the
uniforms
while
others
are
opposed.
The
principal
has
asked
the
students
to
express
their
opinions
by
voting
on
the
issue
before
decisions
are
made.
But
she
will
have
the
final
word
on
the
dress
code.
I
think
a
dress
code
is
a
good
idea.
The
reason
is
simple.
The
less
I
have
to
decide
first
thing
in
the
morning,
the
better.
I
can't
tell
you
how
many
mornings
I
look
into
my
closet
and
just
stare,
unable
to
decide
what
to
wear.
Andy
is
shocked
at
my
opinion.
Last
night,
he
even
dragged
out
my
parents'
high
school
photo
albums
to
show
me
how
brilliant
they
looked
without
uniforms!
He
also
declared,
"Bruce
Springsteen
never
wore
a
school
uniform.
Bob
Dylan
wouldn't
have
been
caught
dead
in
a
school
uniform!
Besides,
when
I
am
feeling
political,
I
want
to
be
able
to
wear
clothes
made
of
natural,
undyed
fibers,
sewn
or
assembled
in
countries
that
do
not
pollute
the
environment
or
exploit
child
labor.
If
I
have
to
wear
a
uniform,
I
won't
feel
like
me!"
To
that
I
replied,
"So
your
personal
heroes
didn't
wear
school
uniforms.
But
they
went
to
high
school
about
a
million
years
ago!
I
feel
sorry
for
you
since
I
had
no
idea
that
your
ego(自我)is
so
fragile
that
it
would
be
completely
destroyed
by
a
uniform."
That
really
made
him
angry
and
he
shouted,
"You're
just
copying
what
you
hear
that
new
music
teacher
saying
because
you
are
crazy
about
him!"
Fortunately,
the
bell
rang
before
we
could
do
each
other
physical
harm,
and
we
went
to
our
separate
classes.
The
vote
for
or
against
uniforms
took
place
later
that
day.
The
results
of
the
vote
and
the
principal's
decision
will
be
announced
next
week.
I
wonder
what
it
will
be.
I
know
how
I
voted,
and
I'm
pretty
sure
I
know
how
Andy
voted.
How
would
you
vote---for
or
against?
4.
Amy
and
Andy
often
get
angry
with
each
other
because
______
.
A.
they're

they
like
different
teachers

they
always
hold
different

the
idea
that
______.
A.
school
clothing
should
reflect
parents'
values
B.
teenagers
should
never
follow
the

C.
the
way
one
dresses
should
be
an
expression
of
one's

D.
wearing
school
uniforms
means

whether
the
students
should
wear
uniforms?
A.
The
principal.
B.
Their

Students
themselves.

towards
us
C.
Andy's
lack
of

is
reflected
in
his

how
we
feel
about
ourselves
【答案】4.
C
5.
D
6.
A
7.
D
【解析】
这是一篇记叙文。文章讲述了,Andy和Amy虽是双胞胎,但他们在许多问题上通常采取相反的立场,例如在是否采用校服规定的问题上有争执。
【4题详解】
细节理解题。由第一段中的“Yet,
on
most
issues
we
usually
take
opposite
positions.”(然而,在大多数问题上,我们通常采取相反的立场。),可知他们经常互相生气是因为他们总是持有不同的观点。故选C项。
【5题详解】
推理判断题。由第三段中的“The
less
I
have
to
decide
first
thing
in
the
morning,
the
better.
I
can't
tell
you
how
many
mornings
I
look
into
my
closet
and
just
stare,
unable
to
decide
what
to
wear.”(我早上第一件事做决定的时间越少越好。我无法告诉你有多少个早晨我在衣橱里看了看,却无法决定该穿什么。),可推断出Andy认为穿校服意味着一个人每天早上做的决定更少。故选D项。
【6题详解】
细节理解题。由第二段中的“The
principal
has
asked
the
students
to
express
their
opinions
by
voting
on
the
issue
before
decisions
are
made.
But
she
will
have
the
final
word
on
the
dress
code.”(校长要求学生们在作出决定前就这个问题进行表决,以表达他们的意见。但她对着装要求有最终决定权。),可知校长决定学生们是否应该穿校服。故选A项。
【7题详解】

your
ego(自我)is
so
fragile
that
it
would
be
completely
destroyed
by
a
uniform.”(我为你感到遗憾,因为我不知道你的自我如此脆弱,以至于会被制服彻底摧毁。),可推断出Amy想告诉Andy,我们穿的校服并不应该决定我们对自己的看法。故选D项。
C
It
was
a
red-letter
day
in
the
history
of
medicine—“Target
Zero
Day”,
May
8th,
1980,
marking
the
complete
removal
of
smallpox,
a
terrifying
disease.
It
was
untreatable
but,
luckily,
it
turned
out
that
vaccination(接种疫苗)
provided
good
protection—
and
that
mass
immunization(免疫)
could
wipe
out
the
smallpox
virus
by
blocking
its
spread.
According
to
legend,
vaccination
was
invented
by
Dr
Edward
Jenner.
Jenner
showed
that
healthy
children
vaccinated
with
cowpox,
a
mild
infection
of
cattle,
could
not
catch
smallpox.
He
was
supposedly
inspired
by
a
comment
from
a
local
milkmaid,
but
there
is
evidence
that
the
idea
came
from
a
medical
friend,
John
Fewster,
who
had
experimented
with
cowpox.
Nevertheless,
Jenner
deserves
credit
for
introducing
vaccination
into
the
medical
mainstream
with
his
paper
published
in
1798.
In
1966,
160
years
after
the
prediction
that
vaccination
would
clean
off
the
disease,
the
World
Health
Organization
launched
its
Smallpox
Eradication
Programme.
This
heroic
11-year
drive
was
directed
by
two’
American
public
health
doctors,
DA
Henderson
and
Bill
Foege.
Their
hardships
were
enormous.
One
WHO
official
even
promised
to
eat
a
tyre
if
smallpox
was
removed.
Henderson
promised
to
send
him
the
tyre
and
wished
him
good
appetite.
But
Henderson
and
Foege’s
hard
work
paid
off—
three
years
after
the
last
smallpox
case
was
informed
(to
make
sure
no
outbreaks
had
been
missed)
Target
Zero
Day
was
declared.
40
years
on,
why
should
we
remember
Target
Zero
Day?
First,
to
celebrate
victory
of
preventative
medicine
and
freedom
from
a
cruel
disease.
Then,
we
must
remember
the
victims
of
smallpox.
It
had
previously
killed
1
in
12
worldwide.
In
1914,
a
Canadian
professor
warned
against
forgetting
smallpox,
which
was
fast
disappearing
from
North
America.
It
went
on
to
kill
at
least
another
250
million
people—
three
times
more
than
both
world
wars
combined.
Target
Zero
Day
also
reminds
us
of
undefeated
infections,
including
polio,
measles,
malaria,
and
of
course
the
coronavirus
Covid-19.
Let’s
recognize
Target
Zero
Day
for
what
it
is:a
milestone
in
world
history
and
a
monument
to
the
art
of
the
possible.

to
invent
the
vaccination?
A.
A
medical
friend.
B.
A

D.
Children.
9.
What
is
the
writer’s
purpose
of

promise?
A.
To

B.
To

C.
To

【解析】
本文是一篇新闻报道。1980年的5月8
日“零目标日”是医学史上一个值得纪念的日子,标志着天花这一可怕的疾病被彻底根除。文章讲述了天花被根除的艰难历程以及“零目标日”的意义。
【8题详解】
细节理解题。根据第二段中“…but
there
is
evidence
that
the
idea
came
from
a
medical
friend,
John
Fewster,
who
had
experimented
with
cowpox.”可知,有证据表明,Jenner发明天花疫苗的灵感来自于来自他的一个医学方面的朋友John
Fewster。故选A项。
【9题详解】
推理判断题。文章第三段中提到“Their
hardships
were
enormous.
One
WHO
official
even
promised
to
eat
a
tyre
if
smallpox
was
removed.
(他们的困难是巨大的。一位世卫组织官员甚至承诺,如果天花被根除,他将吃掉一只轮胎。)”由此可以推断,文章提到这位世卫组织官员的承诺是暗示当时世卫组织认为根除天花几乎是不可能的事情,会有很多困难。故选C项。
【10题详解】
推理判断题。文章最后一段中提到“It
had
previously
killed
1
in
12
worldwide.
…It
went
on
to
kill
at
least
another
250

combined.(在此之前,全世界有1
/
12的人死于该病。…它还造成至少2.5亿人死亡,是两次世界大战死亡人数总和的三倍。)”根据天花造成死亡的人数可以推断,天花是一种可怕的疾病。故选D项。
【11题详解】
推理判断题。通读全文,文章讲述了天花被根除的艰难历程。文章最后一句提到“Let’s
recognize
Target

(让我们认识到“零目标日”的意义:它是世界历史上的一座里程碑,是展现可能性艺术的永久典范)”,根据其中“a
monument
to
the
art
of
the
possible”可知,作者认为“零目标日”是可能性艺术的典范。根除天花尽管很艰难,但是最终,人类还是将它变得可能。选项A意思为:凡人皆有得意时;选项B意思为:良好的开端是成功的一半;选项C意思为:两人分担,麻烦减半;选项D意思为:心之所愿,无事不成。故选D项。
D
Would
you
give
your
Social
Security
Number
to
the
clerk
at
the
grocery
store?
Of
course
not,
right?
Yet,
if
you’re
like
most
people,
you
wouldn’t
hesitate
to
give
out
a
different,
but
equally
important
number
to
the
same
person.
Experts
now
say
that
your
cellphone
number
may
be
more
pivotal
than
any
other
personal
information
in
the
eyes
of
spammers
and
identity
thieves.
In
other
words,
instead
of
handing
it
out,
you
should
guard
that
cellphone
number
with
your
life.
Today,
your
cellphone
number
will
likely
be
with
you
for
a
very
long
time.
That
means
if
spammers
get
your
cellphone
number,
it
will
be
much
harder
to
get
rid
of
them.
It
also
means
that
over
the
years,
your
cellphone
number
will
be
linked
to
a
lot
of
personal
information—from
contact
lists
to
bank
card
numbers,
all
information
that
hackers
would
love
to
get
their
hands
on.
A
few
years
ago,
German
security
researcher
Karsten
Nohl
showed
in
an
experiment
what
he
could
obtain
using
only
a
person’s
cellphone
number.
California
Congressman
Ted
Lieu
was
given
a
new
cellphone
for
a
day
and
Nohl
was
given
that
cellphone
number.
Using
just
that
number,
Nohl
was
able
to
find
Lieu’s
location
and
movements
throughout
Los
Angeles,
read
his
emails
and
text
messages,
and
record
phone
calls
between
Lieu
and
his
staff.
And
Nohl
did
all
of
this
from
his
office
in
Berlin
using
just
a
cellphone
number.
Still
think
it’s
a
good
idea
to
post
your
number
on
a
noticeboard?
It’s
safe
to
assume
that
Nohl
is
an
expert
when
it
comes
to
hacking,
but
even
the
ordinary
thief
can
use
your
cellphone
number
to
cause
harm
to
you.
When
you
sign
up
for
an
account
online,
you
usually
provide
your
email
address
and
a
password.
But
if
you
forget
that
password,
many
of
these
companies
will
send
you
a
password
retrieval
code
via
your
cellphone.
Let’s
say
you
post
something
for
sale
online
and
you
include
your
name,
email,
and
cellphone
number.
You’ve
now
given
a
potential
thief
everything
he
needs
to
hack
into
any
of
your
online
accounts.
Therefore,
it
just
makes
sense
to
protect
yourself
by
guarding
that
number
as
closely
as
you
would
guard
any
other
personal
information.

to
take
care
of
their

What
can

这是一篇说明文。专家指出,在垃圾邮件制造者和身份窃贼眼中,个人的手机号码可能比其他任何个人信息都更重要。文章说明了手机号码之所以重要的原因以及随意发布自己手机号码可能会导致的一些问题。
【12题详解】
词义猜测题。根据画线词后文“In
other
words,
instead
of
handing
it
out,
you
should
guard
that
cellphone
number
with
your
life.
(换句话说,你应该用生命来保护你手机号码,而不是把它分发出去)”可知,画线词所在句意思是:专家现在说,在垃圾邮件制造者和身份窃贼眼中,你的手机号码可能比其他任何个人信息都更重要。即画线词意思是“重要的”。A.
familiar.熟悉的;B.
vital.重要的;C.
accessible.易接近的;D.
manageable.可管理的。故选B。
【13题详解】
主旨大意题。根据第三段“Today,
your
cellphone
number
will
likely
be
with
you
for
a
very
long
time.
That
means
if
spammers
get
your
cellphone
number,
it
will
be
much
harder
to
get
rid
of
them.
It
also
means
that
over
the
years,
your
cellphone
number
will
be
linked
to
a
lot
of
personal
information—from
contact
lists
to
bank
card
numbers,
all
information
that
hackers
would
love
to
get
their
hands
on.
(如今,你的手机号码可能会伴随你很长一段时间。这意味着,如果垃圾邮件发送者得到了你的手机号码,你要想摆脱他们就会困难得多。这也意味着,多年来,你的手机号码将与大量的个人信息联系在一起,从联系人名单到银行卡号,所有这些信息都是黑客们想要得到的)”可知,第三段主要讲了为什么人们需要注意他们的手机号码。故选B。
【14题详解】
推理判断题。根据第四段中“A
few
years
ago,
German
security
researcher
Karsten
Nohl
showed
in
an
experiment
what
he
could
obtain
using
only
a
person’s
cellphone
number.
(几年前,德国安全研究员Karsten
Nohl在一项实验中展示了仅用一个人的手机号码就能获得的信息)”以及“Using
just
that
number,
Nohl
was
able
to
find
Lieu’s
location
and
movements
throughout
Los
Angeles,
read
his
emails
and
text
messages,
and
record
phone
calls
between
Lieu
and
his
staff.
And
Nohl
did
all
of
this
from
his
office
in
Berlin
using
just
a
cellphone
number.(仅用这个号码,Nohl就能找到Lieu在洛杉矶的位置和动向,阅读他的电子邮件和短信,并记录下Lieu和他的员工之间的通话。这些都是Nohl在他柏林的办公室里用一个手机号码做的)”可推知,Karsten
Nohl的实验想要证明通过手机号码入侵信息并不难。故选D。
【15题详解】
推理判断题。根据最后一段中“Let’s
say
you
post
something
for
sale
online
and
you
include
your
name,
email,
and
cellphone
number.
You’ve
now
given
a
potential
thief
everything
he
needs
to
hack
into
any
of
your
online
accounts.
Therefore,
it
just
makes
sense
to
protect
yourself
by
guarding
that
number
as
closely
as
you
would
guard
any
other
personal
information.
(比方说,你在网上发布出售的东西,包括你的名字,电子邮件和手机号码。你现在已经给了一个潜在的窃贼他所需要的一切来黑进你的任何一个在线账户。因此,保护自己的手机号码就像保护其他个人信息一样,是很有意义的)”可推知,在网上发布你的手机号码是有风险的。故选D。

【分析】
本文是一篇记叙文。文章讲述了终南山院士的生平和伟大事迹。
【详解】1.考查名词复数。“one
of
+名词复数”意为“众多事物或人中的其中一个”。这里指终南山是21世纪最著名医药学科学家中的其中一位。故将scientist改为scientists。
2.考查及物动词。enter是及物动词,后面应直接加宾语,表示“进入……”。故去掉into。
3.考查时态。本句在讲过去的事情,应用一般过去时。故将sets改成set。
4.考查冠词。spring后有介词短语of
2003限定时间,这里特指2003年的春天。故在in
后面加the。
5.考查形容词。defenses为名词,我们用形容词修饰名词。故将naturally改为natural。
6.考查让步状语从句和倒装。句意:尽管很危险,但是他依然日日夜夜努力拯救患者。although,though和as可引导让步状语从句,表示“尽管;虽然”。但是as一般用于倒装句,即:将表语、状语或谓语动词放在as之前。though也可这么用。但是although不用于倒装句。本题将形容词dangerous提前,出现倒装。故将although改成though或者as。
7.考查非谓语动词。分析句子成分可知,句子主干为he
worked
hard,treat与主语成主动关系,所以用现在分词treating
the
patients做伴随状语。故将treated改成treating。
8.考查代词。句意:通过他们的努力,终南山和他的同事们取得了傲人的成绩。our使用错误,分析句意可知这里指终南山的同事。故将our改成his。
9.考查被动语态。句意:SARS被控制住了。epedemic和动词stop成被动关系,要用被动语态。故将stopping改成stopped。
10.
考查非限制性定语从句。先行词为人且在定语从句中做主语,而且这里是非限制性定语从句,不能用that只能用who。故将that改成who。
第四部分:书面表达(满分25分)
