Smartphones have been blamed for everything from taking drivers' attention from driving to keeping people on the sofa scrolling (滚屏) videos. But the smartphone that seems to be everywhere could just easily increase physical activity if it pushes its owner's buttons in the right way.
New research shows that making social connections through activity?tracking apps gets people to move more. And another study on the “Pokemon Go” phenomenon shows that the smartphone game got players to take thousands more steps than usual. Together, the studies show the potential of smartphones to push a range of people to be more active.
People who linked with friends on the activity?tracking app increase their steps by 400 a day on average, compared with people who made no social connections, according to Tim Althoff and two other computer scientists at Stanford University. Such opinions show the possibilities of smartphones and games to help with one of the most stubborn public health problems—that even people who want to be active have trouble staying active.
An NBA video game, for example, will give players extra powers in the game if they reach a step goal in real life. The app “Zomies, Run!” uses audio stories to push people to run more or run faster.
Still, there is room for growth: Only about 4% of all health apps use “gamification”, such as point?scoring or competition, according to a study published in October in BMJ Open. “Gamification is actually quite closely linked with behavior change techniques,” says Dr Elizabeth Ann Edwards, the study's lead author.
21.According to the “Pokemon Go”phenomenon, smartphone users become more active because ________.
A.they have more social connections
B.they get extra powers in life
C.the games increase physical activity
D.a life goal has been set step by step
22.Who are most likely to exercise more?
A.Video watchers on the sofa.
B.Smartphone game lovers.
C.People with no social connections.
D.People with trouble staying active.
23.How does the author try to argue the benefits of smartphones?
A.By showing the results of some research.
B.By explaining the functions of smartphones.
C.By giving clear description of some games.
D.By analyzing the causes of public health problems.

From the beginning of the Internet, online dating has become one of the most popular things to all the consumers. Although this may be fun, it is important to remember to think of your safety when trying to meet that certain somebody. When talking about safety I am referring to taking care of your computer and yourself.
Before getting into the world of online dating you should make sure you take care of protecting your computer. A good fire wall and an anti-virus program are a must. These are needed to protect your emails and anywhere you surf on the Internet. There are many great programs offered at your local computer store or available to buy online. With great programs often come some pretty good costs. There is something that is better for the people who just can't afford the cost of a good anti-virus—you can find quite a few decent ones on the Internet for free.
Protecting yourself could surely be much more important than protecting your computer. You want to be careful in choosing your dating sites. Do some good research. If you know anyone who has tried an online dating service ask them what they thought. There are so many online dating sites that you should do extensive (广泛的) research. Make sure you keep the web addresses. Keep a list of fees, regulations and anything else that looks interesting to you. If a place looks shady or makes you feel uncomfortable then you should steer clear away. At the end of the day make sure you take care of yourself.
24.When you meet somebody online you should ________.
A.try to know something about him or her
B.learn to protect yourself and your computer
C.remember that all of you are safe enough
D.realize that you are likely to be in trouble
25.The second paragraph is mainly to tell us that ________.
A.it is necessary for you to protect your emails
B.good programs are usually very expensive
C.we can buy good programs at the local store
D.an anti-virus is needed to protect the computer
26.The underlined word “shady” in Paragraph 3 means “________”.
A.funny B.strange
C.unsafe D.secret
C
Computer technology is still developing rapidly. The computer of the future will continue to increase in value and performance while decreasing in cost. It will become smaller, but faster and more powerful.
It is possible to make some guesses about what the future of the computer will look like, based upon the types of technologies that are being developed now. A lot of progress has already been made in some of these new technologies, but some are still in their earliest stages and may not be ready for use for years. Two of the most interesting areas of computing (量子计算) that are currently being developed are quantum computing and nanotechnology (纳米技术).
Quantum computing is one possibility for the future of the computer that could make computers run far faster than even the quickest computers do today. Quantum computers could be able to do what modern supercomputers are unable to do by using transistors (晶体管) that are able to take on many states at the same time.
Nanotechnology could also change the face of computing, by creating computers that could be very powerful, though they are tiny in size. These computers could be incorporated into everyday objects, including electrical appliances (电器), clothes and even the human bodies. We will be able to use computers in new and unimaginable ways. They will become a part of our lives rather than simply being a box that is used only for specific purposes, such as work.
Quantum computing and nanotechnology will be able to play new roles, which will make us live greener lives, as well as enjoy healthier and happier lives.
27.Which of the following CANNOT describe the computer of the future properly?
A.Much smaller. B.Much faster.
C.More powerful. D.Less valuable.
28.According to the text, quantum computing ________.
A.has been put in use so far
B.can make computers run by themselves
C.can reduce the cost of computers
D.will work by using transistors
29.We can learn from the text that nanotechnology will ________.
A.create much smaller computers
B.be used in electrical appliances and clothing
C.change the structure of computers
D.make computers just serve specific purposes
30.The text is mainly about ________.
A.what nanotechnology is
B.what quantum computing is
C.what the future of the computer is
D.what future computers can bring us

第二节 概要写作(满分25分)
阅读下面短文,根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。
The digital revolution has had a major impact on almost every aspect of our lives, from the way we interact with others to how we watch television or work at our desks. This is no different to the way that banking has changed, and the change has been deep and impacted on every aspect of banking from the way that customers are managed through to the investments made.
For those outside of the banking industry, the chances are that the biggest change that has been noticed is the increased use of online banking. Previously moving money consisted of either going to a bank and making a transfer or transferring money over the phone. With the widespread use of online banking, this is no longer a necessity and instead becomes a simple case of entering details online to access your account.
As the digital revolution has taken hold, one of the main changes has been that data can be gathered form more sources. This could be anything from up?to?date financial data to the perception of a certain company or brand on social media. With this increase in data, the investments that banks make can become more accurate and therefore more profitable.
The last 5 years has seen a considerable increase in the numbers of bankers being arrested and punished for illegal practices. Through picking up internal emails or instant messaging, evidence can be found far easier than before. However, this is not simply a case of punishment once people are caught, instead a major aspect that the digital revolution has given us is the ability to track abnormal actions. This means that if a payment over a certain amount or a result that seems strange appears on a bank's system, then it will automatically be flagged. This helps with keeping illegal activities within the banking industry in check.

Dear Editor,
I'm a senior high school student named Li Hua. Now many students have iPads and think it's a fashion to use them. Using an iPad, we can listen to music, download a lot of learning materials and read e?books on the screen. Obviously, it's helpful to our study, especially to our English listening.
Some students, however, bring their iPads to the classroom and listen to music without earphones, which makes other students greatly annoyed. Some of them even waste precious time in class playing video games.
In my opinion, as students, we should make good use of iPads to help improve our study. The classroom is a place for students to study, and concentration is greatly needed when we are learning. Furthermore, the school should make a rule to guide the students to use iPads in a proper way.
Yours sincerely,
Li Hua
