st 发 /st/。/s/ 和/t/都是清辅音，发音时声带不振动。发/s/音时，舌尖前伸靠近上齿龈，让气流从舌前端和上下齿缝隙中挤出时摩擦成音；发/t/时，舌尖贴住上齿龈，然后突然放开，让气流从口腔中冲出，爆破成音。
