Annette
Larkins
is
an
incredible
woman
who
looks
like
a
healthy
40-year-old,
although
she
just
turned
70.
She
follows
a
special
raw
diet
and
only
drinks
rainwater.
She
looks
so
young
that
people
mistake
her
to
be
the
daughter,
when
she’s
out
with
her
husband
of
54
years,
but
I
suppose
he
isn’t
complaining.
Mrs
Larkins
says
the
secret
to
her
beauty
lies
in
her
special
diet,
consisting
of
organic
vegetables,
fruits,
seeds
and
nuts
grown
in
her
own
garden;
she
calls
it
the
“fountain
of
youth”.
The
woman
doesn’t
touch
anything
that
has
been
cooked.
And
another
strange
thing
she
does
is
to
collect
rainwater,
not
only
to
keep
her
garden
blossoming,
but
also
to
drink.
But
the
residents
of
Miami-Dade
County,
Florida,
didn’t
always
have
such
a
healthy
lifestyle.
In
fact,
she
consumed
meat
regularly,
as
her
husband
used
to
own
a
meat
factory
way
back
in
the
1960s.
It
was
then
that
she
decided
to
change
her
eating
habits
forever.
And
what
a
great
decision
that
was.
I
mean,
just
look
at
her!
When
she
started
off,
Mrs
Larkins
was
just
looking
for
a
few
health
benefits
and
never
anticipated
that
she
would
look
like
a
40-year-old
at
the
age
of
70.
Over
the
27
years
that
she
has
been
eating
raw
food,
Mrs
Larkins
has
written
two
booklets
called
Journey
to
Health
and
also
produced
a
DVD
containing
all
her
healthy
secrets.
Her
husband,
Mr
Larkins,
wishes
he
had
followed
her
example,
because
now
he
looks
much,
much
older
and
also
suffers
from
diabetes(糖尿病)and
high
blood
pressure.
He
takes
prescription
medicine
every
day,
but
Annette
doesn’t
even
take
an
aspirin.
【语篇概述】本文是一篇说明文。文章主要介绍了Mrs
Larkins是如何保持健康、年轻的。

C
Death
is
natural,
but
do
you
have
any
idea
of
the
process
of
dying?
Modern
scientists
divide
the
process
of
dying
into
two
phases
—
clinical
or
temporary
death
and
biological
death.
Clinical
death
occurs
when
the
vital
organs,
such
as
the
heart
or
lungs,
have
ceased
to
function,
but
have
not
suffered
permanent
damage.
The
organism
can
still
be
revived(复活的).
Biological
death
occurs
when
changes
in
the
organism
lead
to
the
“breaking
up”
of
vital
cells
and
tissues.
Death
is
then
unchangeable
and
final.
Scientists
have
been
seeking
a
way
to
prolong
the
period
of
clinical
death
so
that
the
organism
can
remain
alive
before
biological
death
occurs.
The
best
method
developed
so
far
involves
cooling
of
the
organism,
combined
with
narcotic
sleep.
By
slowing
down
the
body’s
metabolism(新陈代谢),
cooling
delays
the
processes
leading
to
biological
death.
To
illustrate
how
this
works,
scientists
performed
an
experiment
on
a
six-year-old
female
monkey
called
Keta.
The
scientist
put
Keta
to
sleep
with
a
narcotic.
Then
they
surrounded
her
body
with
ice-bags
and
began
checking
her
body
temperature.
When
it
had
dropped
to
28
degrees
the
scientists
began
draining
blood
from
an
artery.
The
monkey’s
blood
pressure
decreased
and
an
hour
later
both
the
heart
and
breathing
stopped:
clinical
death
set
in.
For
twenty
minutes
Keta
remained
in
this
state.
Her
temperature
dropped
to
22
degrees.
At
this
point
the
scientists
pumped
blood
into
an
artery
in
the
direction
of
the
heart
and
started
artificial
breathing.
After
two
minutes
Keta’s
heart
became
active
once
more.
After
fifteen
minutes,
spontaneous(自发的)breathing
began,
and
after
four
hours
Keta
opened
her
eyes
and
lifted
her
head.
After
six
hours,
when
the
scientists
tried
to
give
her
a
penicillin
injection,
Keta
seized
the
syringe
and
ran
with
it
around
the
room.
Her
behavior
differed
little
from
that
of
a
healthy
animal.

28.
What
can
we
learn
from
a
person
who
suffers
from
the
clinical
death?
A.
His
most
important
organs
are
damaged.
B.
He
still
has
the
possibility
of
getting
back
to
life.
C.
He
can
not
avoid
final
death.
D.
He
is
still
very
much
alive.
【解析】选B。细节理解题。根据文章第一段Clinical
death
occurs
when
the
vital
organs,
such
as
the
heart
or
lungs,
have
ceased
to
function,
but
have
not
suffered
permanent
damage.
The
organism
can
still
be
revived.
可知被诊断为临床死亡的人仍有可能起死回生。所以答案选B。
29.
Why
do
scientists
try
to
make
the
time
of
clinical
death
longer?
A.
To
slow
down
the
body’s
metabolism.
B.
To
bring
vital
cells
and
tissues
back
to
active
life.
C.
To
cool
the
organism.
D.
To
delay
the
coming
of
biological
death.
【解析】选D。细节理解题。根据文章第二段的第一句中的so
that
the
organism
can
remain
alive
before
biological
death
occurs可知科学家们延长临床死亡的时间是为了延缓生物学死亡期的到来。所以答案选D。
30.
How
did
the
scientists
put
Keta
into
clinical
death?
A.
By
putting
her
to
sleep,
lowering
her
temperature
and
draining
her
blood.
B.
By
surrounding
her
body
with
ice-bags
and
draining
her
blood.
C.
By
lowing
her
blood
pressure
and
stopping
her
heart
from
beating.
D.
By
draining
her
blood,
lowering
her
blood
pressure
and
stopping
her
breathing.
【解析】选A。细节理解题。根据文章最后一段的一些关键词,
如
put
Keta
to
sleep;
surrounded
her
body
with
ice-bags;
draining
blood
可知详细过程与A项描述一致,
故选A。
31.
All
of
the
following
indicate
that
the
monkey
has
almost
restored
to
her
original
physical
state
except
the
fact
that________.
?
A.
her
heart
beat
again
B.
she
regained
her
normal
breath
C.
she
rejected
a
penicillin
injection
D.
she
acted
as
lively
as
a
healthy
monkey
【解析】选C。推理判断题。根据文章最后一段的内容可知,
Keta的心脏恢复了跳动,
它开始自主呼吸,
后来睁开眼睛,
抬起头,
这些是正常的身体状况。它夺过注射器然后逃跑的行动只是动物的本能反应,
所以答案选C。

【语篇概述】本文主要介绍了因为青蒿素的发现获得诺贝尔医学奖的中国科学家屠呦呦。
56.
【解析】won。考查动词时态。获得2015年的诺贝尔奖是过去的事情,
因此用一般过去时。
57.
【解析】which。考查定语从句。此句为非限制性定语从句,
先行词为avermectin,
在从句中作主语,
所以用which。
58.
【解析】diseases。考查名词的单复数。other+名词复数。
59.
【解析】other。考查代词。the
other
half
of
the
prize意为“奖项的另一半”。
60.
【解析】suffering。考查非谓语动词。此处patients和suffer为主动关系。
61.
【解析】powerful。考查词性转换。此空修饰名词means,
所以用形容词形式。
62.
【解析】against。考查固定搭配。fight
against意为“与……抗争”。
63.

第二节(满分25分)
阅读下面材料,
根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,
使之构成一篇完整的短文。续写的词数应为150左右。
We
all
could
say
that
we
have
bad
days
to
endure
as
we
go
through
life,
but
what
does
it
take
to
have
a
really
good
day?
Some
would
suggest
that
a
day
would
be
great
if
everything
they
did
turned
out
well,
or
they
got
exactly
what
they
needed.
On
the
other
hand,
have
you
ever
thought
that
what
you
may
give
someone
else
may
be
the
best
day
you
ever
had
especially
when
you
put
someone
else’s
well-being
or
happiness
first
on
your
list?
There
is
special
warmth
available
to
you
and
that
warmth
can
come
from
a
helping
hand,
doing
a
small
favor
for
a
total
stranger,
or
even
a
smile.
I
recalled
a
day
recently
when
I
had
to
go
to
the
hospital
for
an
appointment
because
I
wasn’t
feeling
well
and
my
doctor
sent
me
to
a
specialist
to
try
and
determine
the
cause.
As
I
drove
to
the
hospital,
I
admittedly
was
feeling
gloomy
and
certainly
wasn’t
on
top
of
my
game.
As
I
approached
the
hospital,
I
began
my
search
for
a
parking
spot,
a
spot
that
was
hard
to
come
with
everyone
else
trying
to
do
the
same
thing.
I
finally
found
a
spot
not
too
far
from
the
entrance
to
the
hospital.
As
I
got
out
and
brought
my
change
out
of
my
pocket,
I
noticed
a
man
looking
somewhat
upset
standing
in
front
of
a
parking
meter
two
cars
away.
He
seemed
to
be
searching
his
pockets
for
what
I
supposed
was
change
for
the
meter.
Although,
I
really
didn’t
feel
that
great,
I
thought
that
I
should
at
least
go
over
to
him
and
find
out
if
I
could
help
him.
As
I
approached
him,
he
turned
to
look
at
me,
feeling
at
a
loss
not
knowing
what
to
do.
I
asked
him
if
he
had
a
problem
I
could
help
with,
and
he
said
without
hesitation,
that
he
had
no
change
at
all
because
he
left
it
in
his
house
only
thinking
about
visiting
his
sick
wife.

Faced
with
such
a
situation,
I
reached
into
my
pocket.
Soon
I
pulled
out
some
change
and
gave
it
to
him
without
hesitation
and
saying
a
single
word.
I
went
on
towards
completing
my
own
business.
As
you
know,
I
had
an
appointment.
For
a
response,
I
turned
on
my
heel
and
said
to
him
as
I
was
walking
away,
“Have
a
good
day.
”
The
funny
thing
was
that
I
felt
a
lot
brighter,
and
a
small
smile
came
to
my
face.
And
I
seemed
to
walk
just
a
little
quicker.
I
was
walking
away
when
he
called
out
“
thank
you
so
much”
far
behind.
Honestly,
I
didn’t
even
expect
him
to
say
anything.
It
was
satisfying
enough
to
know
that
I
had
made
a
simple
gesture
to
help
someone
else
who
needed
a
little
hand,
a
little
help.
However,
it
brought
to
my
face
a
smile.
It
doesn’t
take
much
to
lend
those
in
need
a
helping
hand;
a
big
payoff
is
what
you
get
in
return.
More
importantly,
with
such
warmth
catching
on,
our
society
will
become
more
and
more
harmonious
and
comfortable.

Annette
Larkins
is
an
incredible
woman
who
looks
like
a
healthy
40-year-old,
although
she
just
turned
70.
She
follows
a
special
raw
diet
and
only
drinks
rainwater.
She
looks
so
young
that
people
mistake
her
to
be
the
daughter,
when
she’s
out
with
her
husband
of
54
years,
but
I
suppose
he
isn’t
complaining.
Mrs
Larkins
says
the
secret
to
her
beauty
lies
in
her
special
diet,
consisting
of
organic
vegetables,
fruits,
seeds
and
nuts
grown
in
her
own
garden;
she
calls
it
the
“fountain
of
youth”.
The
woman
doesn’t
touch
anything
that
has
been
cooked.
And
another
strange
thing
she
does
is
to
collect
rainwater,
not
only
to
keep
her
garden
blossoming,
but
also
to
drink.
But
the
residents
of
Miami-Dade
County,
Florida,
didn’t
always
have
such
a
healthy
lifestyle.
In
fact,
she
consumed
meat
regularly,
as
her
husband
used
to
own
a
meat
factory
way
back
in
the
1960s.
It
was
then
that
she
decided
to
change
her
eating
habits
forever.
And
what
a
great
decision
that
was.
I
mean,
just
look
at
her!
When
she
started
off,
Mrs
Larkins
was
just
looking
for
a
few
health
benefits
and
never
anticipated
that
she
would
look
like
a
40-year-old
at
the
age
of
70.
Over
the
27
years
that
she
has
been
eating
raw
food,
Mrs
Larkins
has
written
two
booklets
called
Journey
to
Health
and
also
produced
a
DVD
containing
all
her
healthy
secrets.
Her
husband,
Mr
Larkins,
wishes
he
had
followed
her
example,
because
now
he
looks
much,
much
older
and
also
suffers
from
diabetes(糖尿病)and
high
blood
pressure.
He
takes
prescription
medicine
every
day,
but
Annette
doesn’t
even
take
an
aspirin.
24.

does
the
underlined
word
“it”
in
Paragraph
3
refer
to?
A.
The
organic
food.
B.
Her
beauty.
C.
Specially
cooked
food.
D.
Her
raw
diet.

kind
of
person
does
the
author
think
Mrs
Larkins
is?
A.
Strong-willed.
B.
Honest.

Modest.
D.
Open
minded.
26.
What
did
the
woman
do
with
her
healthy
secrets?
A.
She
sold
them
to
the
local
people.
B.
She
abandoned
them
at
the
age
of
70.
C.
She
publicized
them
in
various
ways.
D.
She
improved
them
with
her
husband’s
help.
27.
What
is
the
author’s
attitude
towards
Mrs
Larkins’s
lifestyle?
A.
Disapproving
B.
Supportive.
C.
Sympathetic.
D.
Doubtful.
C
Death
is
natural,
but
do
you
have
any
idea
of
the
process
of
dying?
Modern
scientists
divide
the
process
of
dying
into
two
phases
—
clinical
or
temporary
death
and
biological
death.
Clinical
death
occurs
when
the
vital
organs,
such
as
the
heart
or
lungs,
have
ceased
to
function,
but
have
not
suffered
permanent
damage.
The
organism
can
still
be
revived(复活的).
Biological
death
occurs
when
changes
in
the
organism
lead
to
the
“breaking
up”
of
vital
cells
and
tissues.
Death
is
then
unchangeable
and
final.
Scientists
have
been
seeking
a
way
to
prolong
the
period
of
clinical
death
so
that
the
organism
can
remain
alive
before
biological
death
occurs.
The
best
method
developed
so
far
involves
cooling
of
the
organism,
combined
with
narcotic
sleep.
By
slowing
down
the
body’s
metabolism(新陈代谢),
cooling
delays
the
processes
leading
to
biological
death.
To
illustrate
how
this
works,
scientists
performed
an
experiment
on
a
six-year-old
female
monkey
called
Keta.
The
scientist
put
Keta
to
sleep
with
a
narcotic.
Then
they
surrounded
her
body
with
ice-bags
and
began
checking
her
body
temperature.
When
it
had
dropped
to
28
degrees
the
scientists
began
draining
blood
from
an
artery.
The
monkey’s
blood
pressure
decreased
and
an
hour
later
both
the
heart
and
breathing
stopped:
clinical
death
set
in.
For
twenty
minutes
Keta
remained
in
this
state.
Her
temperature
dropped
to
22
degrees.
At
this
point
the
scientists
pumped
blood
into
an
artery
in
the
direction
of
the
heart
and
started
artificial
breathing.
After
two
minutes
Keta’s
heart
became
active
once
more.
After
fifteen
minutes,
spontaneous(自发的)breathing
began,
and
after
four
hours
Keta
opened
her
eyes
and
lifted
her
head.
After
six
hours,
when
the
scientists
tried
to
give
her
a
penicillin
injection,
Keta
seized
the
syringe
and
ran
with
it
around
the
room.
Her
behavior
differed
little
from
that
of
a
healthy
animal.
28.
What
can
we
learn
from
a
person
who
suffers
from
the
clinical
death?
A.
His
most
important
organs
are
damaged.
B.
He
still
has
the
possibility
of
getting
back
to
life.
C.
He
can
not
avoid
final
death.
D.
He
is
still
very
much
alive.
29.
Why
do
scientists
try
to
make
the
time
of
clinical
death
longer?
A.
To
slow
down
the
body’s
metabolism.
B.
To
bring
vital
cells
and
tissues
back
to
active
life.
C.
To
cool
the
organism.
D.
To
delay
the
coming
of
biological
death.
30.
How
did
the
scientists
put
Keta
into
clinical
death?
A.
By
putting
her
to
sleep,
lowering
her
temperature
and
draining
her
blood.
B.
By
surrounding
her
body
with
ice-bags
and
draining
her
blood.
C.
By
lowing
her
blood
pressure
and
stopping
her
heart
from
beating.
D.
By
draining
her
blood,
lowering
her
blood
pressure
and
stopping
her
breathing.
31.
All
of
the
following
indicate
that
the
monkey
has
almost
restored
to
her
original
physical
state
except
the
fact
that________.
?
A.
her
heart
beat
again
B.
she
regained
her
normal
breath
C.
she
rejected
a
penicillin
injection
D.
she
acted
as
lively
as
a
healthy
monkey

David
Unaipon
was
an
inventor
and
writer.
He
was
the
first
Aboriginal(土著的)
Australian
to
write
published(出版的)
books.
He
also
worked
hard
to
make
life
better
for
Aboriginal
people.
David
Unaipon
was
born
in
South
Australia,
in
1872.
As
a
young
man,
he
loved
to
read
and
was
interested
in
science
and
music.
He
thought
a
lot
about
new
ways
to
fix
engineering
problems.
Between
the
years
1909
and
1944,
Unaipon
made
nine
important
inventions.
He
also
made
drawings
for
a
helicopter(直升机)
design.
He
got
the
idea
from
the
Australian
boomerang(回旋镖)
and
the
way
it
moved
through
the
air.
This
happened
in
1914,
before
we
had
helicopters.
Unaipon
lived
most
of
his
life
in
Adelaide
and
worked
for
the
Aborigines
Friends
Association.
He
worked
and
travelled
around
southeastern
Australia
for
fifty
years.
Sometimes,
while
travelling
from
town
to
town,
he
was
told
he
couldn’t
stay
in
a
hotel
because
he
was
black,
so
he
understood
the
problems
of
racism(种族主义).
In
1925,
Unaipon
became
the
first
Aboriginal
writer
to
be
published.
His
first
published
writing
was
an
article
in
Sydney’s
Daily
Telegraph
newspaper.
The
article
had
the
title:
“Aboriginals:

Traditions
and
Customs”.
He
wrote
many
other
articles
for
newspapers
and
magazines,
getting
publicity
about
the
rights
of
Aboriginal
people.
He
also
wrote
about
the
need
for
white
and
black
people
to
work
together
and
the
need
for
equal
rights
for
both
black
and
white
Australians.
He
was
well
educated
in
both
cultures,
and
in
1929
he
helped
with
a
government
survey
of
Aboriginal
health
and
interests.
David
Unaipon
died

fifty-dollar
note,
with
a

“Are
you
all
sick?
”I
asked.
“Yes,
”
she
said
weakly
and
lowered
her
head.
But
when
it
came
to
43
of
their
problems,
things
got
a
little
uncertain.
They
all
claimed
to
have
headaches,
but
the
headaches
weren’t
44
by
the
normal
body
language
of
holding
the
head
or
trying
to
keep
it
still.
?
Something
was
wrong.
Our
hospital
policy,
45 ,
was
not
to
turn
away
any
patient.
I
explained
it
might
be
a
little
while
before
a
doctor
saw
her.
She
responded
immediately,
even
a
bit
46 “Take
your
time,
”
and
then
added,
“It’s
warm
in
here.
”
Then,
I
checked
their
registration
form
out
of
curiosity.
No
address—they
were
47 .
The
waiting
room
was
warm.
I
went
back
to
the
nurses’
station
and
mentioned
we
had
a
homeless
family
in
the
waiting
room.
The
nurses,
complaining
of
48
on
Christmas,
turned
to
sympathy
for
a
family
just
trying
to
get
49
on
Christmas.
The
team
went
into
action,
much
as
we
do
when
there’s
a
50
emergency.
But
this
was
a
Christmas
emergency.
We
were
all
51
a
free
meal
on
Christmas
Day,
so
we
took
back
that
meal
and
prepared
a
big
dinner
for
our
guests.
We
needed
presents.
We
collected
candies,
fruits
and
other
things
52
that
could
be
presents
from
different
departments.
As
seriously
as
we
met
the
53
needs
of
the
patients,
our
team
worked
to
meet
the
needs
of
a
family
who
just
wanted
to
be
warm
on
Christmas.
54 ,
as
the
family
walked
to
the
door
to
leave,
the
four-year-old
boy
came
running
back,
gave
me
a
55
and
whispered,
“Thanks
for
being
our
angels
today.

第二节(满分25分)
阅读下面材料,
根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,
使之构成一篇完整的短文。续写的词数应为150左右。
We
all
could
say
that
we
have
bad
days
to
endure
as
we
go
through
life,
but
what
does
it
take
to
have
a
really
good
day?
Some
would
suggest
that
a
day
would
be
great
if
everything
they
did
turned
out
well,
or
they
got
exactly
what
they
needed.
On
the
other
hand,
have
you
ever
thought
that
what
you
may
give
someone
else
may
be
the
best
day
you
ever
had
especially
when
you
put
someone
else’s
well-being
or
happiness
first
on
your
list?
There
is
special
warmth
available
to
you
and
that
warmth
can
come
from
a
helping
hand,
doing
a
small
favor
for
a
total
stranger,
or
even
a
smile.
I
recalled
a
day
recently
when
I
had
to
go
to
the
hospital
for
an
appointment
because
I
wasn’t
feeling
well
and
my
doctor
sent
me
to
a
specialist
to
try
and
determine
the
cause.
As
I
drove
to
the
hospital,
I
admittedly
was
feeling
gloomy
and
certainly
wasn’t
on
top
of
my
game.
As
I
approached
the
hospital,
I
began
my
search
for
a
parking
spot,
a
spot
that
was
hard
to
come
with
everyone
else
trying
to
do
the
same
thing.
I
finally
found
a
spot
not
too
far
from
the
entrance
to
the
hospital.
As
I
got
out
and
brought
my
change
out
of
my
pocket,
I
noticed
a
man
looking
somewhat
upset
standing
in
front
of
a
parking
meter
two
cars
away.
He
seemed
to
be
searching
his
pockets
for
what
I
supposed
was
change
for
the
meter.
Although,
I
really
didn’t
feel
that
great,
I
thought
that
I
should
at
least
go
over
to
him
and
find
out
if
I
could
help
him.
As
I
approached
him,
he
turned
to
look
at
me,
feeling
at
a
loss
not
knowing
what
to
do.
I
asked
him
if
he
had
a
problem
I
could
help
with,
and
he
said
without
hesitation,
that
he
had
no
change
at
all
because
he
left
it
in
his
house
only
thinking
about
visiting
his
sick
wife.

came
to
my
face.
