教学目标：
学生能听懂，会说，认读并书写下列词汇：you，teacher，hello，hi，your，name，friend，pupil，his，her。
学生能认读，理解并运用这些基本的句式结构：
—What’s your/his/her name？
—My/His /Her name is ... .
学生认识到You can call me ...和My name is ...是表达同一事物的两种表达法。
通过老师启发引领，学生自主探索，培养学生独立自主的学习能力以及对英语的学习兴趣。

Step1：Warm-up
Greeting
T:Hello,boys and girls!Welcome to English Class .Wish you a happy time!
（大家好，欢迎大家来上英语课。希望大家度过愉悦的时光。）
Review
T:We learned many words last term. Do you still remember them Now let’s have a review.
我们在上学期学习了很多单词。你们还记得它们吗？让我们来复习一下！
出示单词卡,学生回答。（what is it ）
Today we will begin a new unit. We will meet many students in Canada and see how there first day in school goes !
Step2：presentation
1. A new teacher
在黑板上写单词：hello/hi。说 Hello, I'm your new teacher. My name is .让学生回答 Hello, Mr./Ms___.教师指着黑板上 Hello，让学生说两遍。然后，重复，这次只说 Hello, I'm your new teacher. My name is ,教师指着黑板上的 Hi，让学生重复。教师再次说 Hi, I'm your new teacher. My name is ____.学生回答 Hi, Mr/Ms _.重点是让学生意识到 Hello 和 Hi 意思相同。
出示课本图片，讲述单词name，及相关句型。
找一名自告奋勇的学生到前面来。教师说 Hello, my name is __.这名学生用Hello, Mr./Ms __ My name is __.回答。重复几次，直到教师认为每名学生都理解了这个概念。然后，让学生和坐在他们后面或旁边的学生介绍自己。给学生一些时间练习。
教授 My name is _ . You can call me _.教师可以告诉学生 My name is _.和 You can call me _ _.是介绍同一件事的两种方法（和 Hello/Hi 类似）。
出示课本图片，复习单词your和teacher。
让学生看教科书第 2 页，大声读每一幅图中文字。慢慢读，用手势帮助学生理解。重复读一遍，然后播放第 2 页录音，让学生跟读。
Pair Work:现在，让学生两人一组活动。他们练习使用两种方法说自己的名字（You can call me__/My name is __）。给各组学生充足的时间练习。
然后，叫一些自告奋勇的小组在全班面前展示。
2. A new friend
（1）在黑板上写单词 friend。大声朗读单词并让学生重复。这样做两遍，用汉语解释朋友的意思。手举 friend 词汇卡片读单词，让学生重复确保发音正确。
教师可以谈论朋友应该互相帮助，互相支持。给学生机会展示他们对朋友的理解。教师可以问：Who is your friend？学生应该能够说出简单的句子诸如 My friend is ... .
（2）在黑板上写单词 pupil，向学生展示词汇卡片。教师读两遍单词，让学生重复。教师可以问 Are you a pupil Am I a pupil 学生应该能够用 yes 或 no回答教师的问题。现在让学生看教科书第 3 页，逐一指着每幅图画问问题。指着老师问 What's his name ，指着史蒂文问 What's his name Is he a new pupil
（3）复习单词her和his，提醒学生注意人称代词与形容词性物主代词的区别。
（4）播放两遍录音，让学生看书跟读。
（5）小组活动：将全班分成四至五人小组，让学生练习互相介绍。他们必须用到下列句子：
This is _. He/She is a new/old student.
He is my friend. His name is ____.
She is my friend. Her name is _ .
提醒学生练习使用 hello/hi。
给学生充足时间练习。教师在班上来回走动，倾听学生对话，需要时给予帮助。
Step3：Practice
（1）PPT出示抢车位游戏，有今天所学的单词和句型，完成连词成句练习。让学生看
（2）教科书第 3 页，第 3 部分，通读一遍，向学生说明需要他们做什么。他们将决定谁是他们的朋友，画一幅那位朋友的图画。然后他们想想关于这位朋友，他们想怎样描述。他们应该用到本课学的词汇。教师可以提供下列例子作为指导：
This is my friend.
Her name is ... ./You can call her ... .
She is a pupil in my school,
She is nice.
I like her.
告诉学生拿出一张纸和画笔，使这一页看起来像书中的第 3 页。
然后他们画他们的朋友并写有关他们朋友的事情。
当每个人都完成此项活动后，向全班展示他们的作品。
Step4：Consolidation and Homework
总结今天所学的单词和句型。家庭作业是同步练习册。
