(一)教材的地位和作用
本单元是初中英语新教材第三册第2单元,本单元的核心话题为“talk
about
what
they
used
to
be
like”,围绕着谈论过去自己和他人过去经常做的事,谈论自己和他人过去的外貌\性格\爱好,以观察图片、听力理解、阅读理解等训练方式和独立学习、合作交流、完成任务等形式完成目标语言的输入,学习句型Used
to
为主要学习任务,并且设置任务型综合性语言实践活动,让学生在交际活动中,学会如何正确地用英语表达自己的意见和建议,重在培养学生的习得语言运用能力、实践能力、合作能力及创新意识。(二)教学目标

根据学生的知识能力水平及对过去学过知识的掌握谈论过去自己和他人过去经常做的事,谈论自己和他人过去的外貌\性格\爱好。
学情分析
由于九年级平时学习任务重,时间紧张,他们对英语的习趣和热情已不像七八年级那样高涨。也有部分学生对英语失去了兴趣,但他们有较强的模仿和记忆能力,且对于新事物的接收能力比较强。学方式的趣味性和有效性。
设计思路
本单元根据学生学习阅读理解的方法与技巧进行设置的,并按
照学生所熟悉的教学方式,着重于句段篇章的理解,从而提高学生的
阅读理解能力。讲解主要以任务教学法为主,以学生为学习
主体,以任务为中心。学生只有在不断的练习与实践中,才能发现存
在的错误,从而通过改正加深对知识点的理解与掌握。语言知识点,只有进行课后巩固复习,才能更好的掌握所学
知识。对学生进行听说能力的训练和提高学生在任务中学习的能力,同时也要考虑教。
