真题演练
(2020长沙)
Jiaozi,
also
known
as
Chinese
dumplings,
is
a
must-have
during
holidays
in
Northern
China.
It
dates
back
to
ancient
times.
Jiaozi
is
one
of
the
most
important
foods
in
Chinese
New
Year.
Since
jiaozi
is
in
the
shape
of
ancient
Chinese
gold
or
silver
ingots(银锭),
it
symbolizes
wealth(象征着财富).
Traditionally,
the
members
of
a
family
get
together
to
make
dumplings
on
New
Year's
Eve.
They
may
hide
a
coin
in
one
of
the
dumplings.
The
person
who
finds
the
coin
will
be
likely
to
have
good
luck.
As
the
Spring
Festival
marks
the
start
of
a
new
year,
people
choose
to
eat
jiaozi
in
the
hope
of
having
a
good
future
in
the
coming
new
year.
Based
on
your
taste,
you
can
make
different
kinds
of
Chinese
dumplings
using
different
fillings.
There
is
no
set
rule
as
to
what
makes
dumpling
fillings.
They
can
be
anything
from
vegetables,
meat
or
seafood.
Whatever
the
fillings
are,
the
wrapping(包)
skill
needs
to
be
exquisite(精美的)
to
make
jiaozi
good-
looking.
As
China
is
a
country
with
a
vast
territory(幅员辽阔),
there
are
differences
in
different
areas
in
ways
of
making
jiaozi
or
even
serving
it.
For
example,
dumpling
wrappers
are
made
with
a
rolling
stick
in
Beijing
and
Hebei
province,
while
in
some
parts
of
Inner
Mongolia,
wrappers
are
hand-pressed.
60.
When
did
Chinese
people
probably
begin
to
have
jiaozi?
______________________________________________________________
61.
What
does
jiaozi
symbolize?
______________________________________________________________
62.
Why
do
people
choose
to
eat
jiaozi
on
New
Year's
Eve?
______________________________________________________________
63.
Do
people
need
to
follow
set
rules
to
make
dumpling
fillings?

64.
How
are
dumpling
wrappers
made
in
some
parts
of
Inner
Mongolia?

I
am
Canadian.
I
started
learning
French
when
I
was
10
years
old.
But
my
whole
experience
with
the
language
was
in
the
classroom.
All
of
that
changed,
however,
during
my
last
summer
of
high
school.
As
a
17-year-old
girl,
I
flew
across
the
country
by
myself
for
the
first
time!
I
headed
for
Quebec
to
live
in
the
province
with
a
French-speaking
host
family,
who
didn’t
speak
any
English.
And
I
would
learn
French
at
a
local
school.
On
the
first
day
of
school,
all
of
us
students
were
given
a
test
to
determine(测定)our
language
level.
We
were
required
to
speak
only
French
all
summer.
I
made
every
effort
to
communicate
in
a
second
language
by
making
new
friends,
seeing
movies
and
even
ordering
food
from
restaurants
in
French.
Though
I
couldn’t
understand
most
of
it
at
the
very
beginning,
the
whole
experience
was
exciting
and
refreshing.
On
weekends,
my
classmates
and
I
took
trips
to
different
places
around
the
province.
On
one
trip,
we
went
whale
watching
on
the
St.
Lawrence
River.
Even
though
it
was
raining,
we
could
see
huge
whales
swimming
around
our
boat.
The
most
memorable
part
of
our
trip
was
a
visit
to
historic
Quebec
City.
I
walked
along
the
stone
streets,
took
pictures
of
the
European-style(欧式的)buildings,
and
learned
some
stories
there.
Finally
my
efforts
paid
off!
At
the
end
of
the
summer,
I
was
able
to
communicate
pretty
well.
I
couldn’t
wait
to
go
back
to
school
and
talk
with
my
French
teacher.
Being
fully
immersed(沉浸)in
a
French-speaking
environment
was
a
valuable
learning
experience.
And
it
could
be
the
main
reason
for
my
improvement
in
French.
When
did
the
writer
fly
alone
for
the
first
time?

In
Hebei,
there
is
a
small
village
called
Yeli.Through
the
village,you
can
see
green
trees
along
the
riverbank.However,
you
can
hardly
imagine
that,
about
16years
ago,
this
area
was
covered
with
rocks
and
weeds(杂草).The
big
change
is
all
because
of
years
of
hard
work
by
two
best
friends:
Jia
Haixia,
who
is
blind,
and
Jia
Wenqi,
who
has
no
arms.
The
two
friends
decided
to
plant
trees
to
make
a
living
back
in
2002.Although
both
are
disabled,
they
learned
to
work
together
by
becoming
each
other's
eyes
and
hands.With
little
money
to
buy
young
trees,
they
had
to
collect
and
plant
cuttings(插枝,插条).Every
morning,
they
went
to
the
riverbank
together.Jia
Wenqi
walked
in
the
front
and
Jia
Haixia
followed
him
by
holding
one
of
his
friends
empty
sleeves
(衣袖).After
they
arrived
at
the
riverbank,
Jia
Haixia
would
climb
on
his
friend's
shoulders
to
get
cuttings
and
Jia
Wenqi
would
tell
him
which
cuttings
were
the
best.After
that,
they
dug
holes
on
the
ground
and
watered
the
cuttings
together.
They
planted
800trees
in
the
first
year,
but
only
two
survived
(存活).They
didn't
give
up.Instead,
they
continued
to
plant
more
in
the
next
few
years.The
riverbank
is
now
home
to
over
ten
thousand
trees.
Today,
the
two
friends
no
longer
need
to
make
a
living
by
planting
trees,
but
they
have
no
plans
to
stop.They
aim
to
plant
as
many
trees
as
possible
in
the
area
so
as
to
protect
the
village
from
flooding
(洪水)and
to
improve
the
local
environment.
60.Where
did
the

take
place?

“May
we
all
be
blessed
with
longevity.
Though
miles
apart,
we
are
still
able
to
share
the
beauty
of
the
moon
together(但愿人长久,千里共婵娟),”wrote
Su
Shi,
a
poet
during
the
Song
dynasty,
in
his
well-known
poem
to
his
younger
brother
Su
Zhe.
The
moon
is
at
its
brightest
on
the
15th
day
of
the
eighth
month
of
the
lunar
calendar(阴历).
On
this
day,
people
celebrate
Mid-Autumn
Festival.
It
has
been
enjoying
great
popularity
all
over
the
country.
In
ancient
China,
that
day
was
a
harvest(收获)
festival
because
crops(庄稼)
were
harvested
during
that
period.
It
was
a
time
for
relaxation
and
celebration.
Just
like
Thanksgiving
in
Western
countries,
families
also
try
to
get
together
for
the
Mid-Autumn
Festival
in
China.
Usually,
no
matter
how
far
away
or
how
busy
they
are,
people
will
try
to
return
home
for
the
celebration.
The
Mid-Autumn
Festival
has
its
own
special
food
just
as
other
traditional
Chinese
holidays.
People
eat
moon
cakes
with
fillings
such
as
sugar
and
eggs.
The
round
shape
of
the
cake
makes
it
look
like
the
full
moon.
The
full
moon
and
moon
cakes
stand
for
family
reunion(团聚).
With
the
beautiful
moon
up
in
the
sky,
people
sit
together,
enjoy
the
full
moon,
eat
moon
cakes
and
fruit,
share
the
stories,
and
express
the
best
wishes
for
the
family
members
and
friends
who
live
far.
