◆此句型为一般过去时的陈述句,表示在过去某一时间发生的动作,句中的动词要用过去式,常与表示过去的时间状语连用,如yesterday,last year等。
动词过去式的构成:
大多数动词过去式的构成都是有规律的:
◆一般在动词词尾直接加ed。
如:watch--watched , cook--cooked
◆以不发音的字母e结尾的动词,直接在词尾加d。
如:dance--danced , like--liked
◆以辅音字母+y结尾的动词,变y为i,再加ed。
如:study--studied , carry--carried
◆以单个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节动词,先双写单词
末尾的辅音字母,再加ed。
如:stop--stopped , plan--planned
