课标分析:本课为语篇教学,其中穿插对话教学。语篇教学是指在具体语境中教学单词和句型,主张从主体入手,展现给学生完整的语言篇幅。
教材分析:整个第二单元是围绕主人公去北京旅游这一主题展开的,第十课就是其中一站:长城游玩的片段。在游玩过程中很自然地介绍了长城的悠久历史,展现了它的伟大,同时由于Danny饥饿从而发现了一家餐馆引发了一段令人紧张的小插曲,使得整个篇章诙谐有趣,又振奋人心。本课出现了几个不容易记忆的单词tired,wait,stop,afraid,需要学生在篇章整体中去把握它们的含义。
学情分析:五年级的学生已经拥有了一定的词汇量,有一定的语言表达能力,在学习第9课的基础上,学生能顺利地表达How
old?
和How
long?句型,并能较流利地朗读课文,能听懂教师的基本口语,理解教师的用意,从而表达他们的想法。但对几个单词的发音及理解会有一定的难度,如wait,afraid,tired。
教学目标:1、学生能听懂、会说、认读、书写stop,wait,feel,tired,afraid.
2、能认读、理解、应用句型:How

3、培养学生自学,自我解决问题的能力。培养他们倾听、朗读及模仿的能力。
教学重难点:重点:1、能够用所学知识简单地介绍长城。
2、在语境中理解wait,afraid,feel,tired,stop等词的含义
3、能理解、朗读课文
难点:介绍北京的其它名胜古迹。

根据课文内容让学生来回答这些问题,达到自己想问题,自己解决问题的目的。教师出示幻灯片,总结学生提出的问题及答案,加深学生的印象。教师并适时地提问:Is
