一、教材分析
本课是冀教版小学英语五年级下册第四单元的一节故事课。本单元主题是Did
you
have
a
nice
trip?
单元围绕着Jenny,
Li
Ming,
Danny这三个小主人公有趣的旅游情景展开。故事课“A
Gift
for
Little
Zeke”是本单元内容的拓展和延伸。故事内容是老师给学生送礼物，而没有给Little
Zeke
送礼物，最后通过Little
Zeke给老师写信获得礼物。故事内容比较简单，脉络清晰语言简单易懂，学生在阅读故事的过程中巩固了本单元所学的语言知识，提高了阅读技能，更重要的是学生在运用英语语言读懂故事。培养英语学习的兴趣，提高学生的语言学习能力。
二、学情分析
授课对象为五年级学生，从年龄层次上来看，这个年龄学生有了一定的英语基础，语感基本形成。本课为孩子们喜欢的故事课，应能充分调动学生想要学的积极性，发挥学生的潜能，发展学生的思维，孩子们能够做到复述和表演故事的片段。
三、教学目标

知识与技能目标:
①学生通过图片能够听懂、读懂这个故事。
②学生能借助多媒体,板书等帮助,有感情地复述故事。
2.学习策略目标:
①学生能够利用寻读、默读、朗读、猜测等阅读策略相结合，来阅读故事。
②增强小组合作意识,共同完成任务。
3.情感态度目标
①提高学习英语的兴趣，乐于阅读，善于表演。
②学生能够通过教师引导与示范,积极地进行自主探究。
③增强学生互敬友爱,相互分享的意识。
四、教学重、难点
重点：能在故事插图和老师帮助下听懂并读懂故事。
难点：能在老师的引导和帮助下，能声情并茂地复述故事。
