学生自学短文，质疑，教师点拨疑难句，强调名词的复数形式要与are连用。教师点拨sunglasses、gloves、shoes、shorts和pants的用法，这些物品总是成双成对出现。

教师播放录音，学生跟读录音，然后分小组展示朗读。
