本节课是借班上课，教师和学生的默契需要努力才能达成。初一的学生对学校新生活非常新奇，自我意识开始发展，有了一定的评价能力，开始注意塑造自己的形象，希望得到老师和同学的好评，学习积极性比较高，本课在教学过程中，采取小组比赛，调动起学生的竞争意识，积极发言开口说英语，大大激发了学生学习的兴趣，让学生在快乐中去感知、感悟与应用。

设计意图：复习人物五官单词，对后面人物外貌描述做铺垫。

设计意图：通过转盘游戏，更能引起学生的兴趣，从而激发学生的学习热情，创设情境引入新的词汇，通过展示蜡笔小新的国籍，以此完成3示范部分，让学生感知如何询问并描述他人外貌，为后面的学习环节扫清障碍。通过讲解蜡笔小新是Maria的朋友Tom
给Maria寄信，保安将信给女孩，女孩却不认识Maria，让学生了解即将学习的对话背景，呈现教材上的图片回答问题，为听力活动做好准备。
步骤3：While-listening

看视频，并跟读，注意升降调。
男女生分角色扮演。
设计意图：训练学生通过听力材料获取有关Maria的基本信息，理解对话的详细信息。听第一遍回答Maria的基本信息的问题，降低听力难度；听第二遍时，完成1b表格。看视频过程中安排了录音跟读，并要求注意语调，为提高学生英语口语打下基础。最后男女生分角色扮演，让学生在读中学会运用。
步骤4：Post-listening
帮助Tom将信带给Jane。小组合作仿照1a,
编造一个新对话。
Tom再信中写到，他到处旅游，认识了很多朋友，想介绍给Maria。让学生帮助Maria把外貌描述和图片连起来。
Tom还想介绍一些他的其他朋友给Maria,
帮助Tom介绍他的朋友的外貌;
情感提升。
设计意图：通过给Jane带信情节，让学生仿照1a编造新对话，让学生对文本进行进一步理解，能够在真实情景里对话。连线部分，让学生能够阅读关于人物外貌的句子，并进行进一步句型练习。通过信封方式让学生小组合作，介绍其它人物外貌，让学生能够自己输出。最后分享视频完成情感提升。

看黑板，总结本课学会了什么。
设计意图：通过总结本节课所学知识，让学生对本节课的重点有一个整体的把握，进一步巩固所学知识。
步骤6：Homework

设计意图：作业布置用画一幅你最好的朋友的画介绍你的朋友外到，首先能做的知识的学以致用，书面表达能反应出学生规范语言表达能力。
