教学准备
1.教师准备教学过程中所需的挂图和课件。
2.教师准备与教材相配套的教学录音带。
教学步骤
教学内容
一、课前热身(Warm－up)
1.打招呼。
2.检查作业。
请几对学生表演自己改编的对话，提醒学生表演时要用上适当的体态语言，最后教师评选出“最佳表演奖”。
3.播放“Let’s sing”部分的歌曲录音，全班学生跟录音唱歌曲，活跃课堂气氛。
二、课前准备(Preview)
猜一猜。
教师发给学生每人一张写有动词短语的纸条，让学生记住自己纸条上的内容，作为自己做过的事情，然后放入口袋。活动时，教师指着一位学生说：“Can you guess what he/she did last weekend”让学生猜。三局内猜对者为胜。然后让学生在六人小组内进行“猜一猜”的活动。
三、新课呈现(Presentation)
1.Let’s try.
T: Wu Yifan wants to know what John did last weekend. Do you also want to know? Let’s listen to the tape and circle the right answer.
教师播放录音，学生边听边圈出正确的选项。
师生一起核对答案后，教师再次播放教学录音，学生跟录音读，提醒学生注意模仿录音中的语音和语调。
2.Let’s talk.
(1)出示本部分的教学挂图并播放教学录音，让学生仔细听。
(2)再次播放本部分的教学录音，学生听完录音后回答下面的问题：
①What is John going to do？
②Who read the magazine before？
③What did John do last weekend？
④How do they go to the bookstore？
⑤Which is faster, taking a bus or walking？
Answer：
He is going to the bookstore to buy the new film magazine.
Amy。
He had a cold, so he stayed at home all weekend and slept.
They go there by bus.
Taking a bus is much faster.
(3)让学生同桌之间分角色朗读对话，然后请几组学生上讲台表演对话，提醒学生表演时要带上适当的表情和动作。
