课时目标
1.能听、说、认读单词“which”,“best”和“snow”。
2.能用句子“Which season do you like best?”询问他人最喜欢的季节,并根据自己的实际情况回答。
3.能听懂“Let's try”部分的录音,并根据录音内容完成句子。
4.引导学生进行小组合作学习,增强学生用英语进行沟通、交流的能力。
重点难点
重点:1.能听、说、认读单词“which”,“best”和“snow”。
2.能用句子“Which season do you like best?”询问他人最喜欢的季节,并根据自己的实际情况回答。
难点:1.能简单陈述自己喜欢某个季节的原因,了解四季的特征。
2.能运用句子“Which season do you like best?”询问他人最喜欢的季节。
教学准备
多媒体课件、录音机与教学录音带、调查表。
教学步骤
教学内容
一、课前热身(Warm-up)
1.课堂口语练习。
2.让学生在四人小组内展示自己家庭成员最喜欢的季节的调查表,并用句型“What's your father's/mother's/...favourite season?”“His/Her favourite season is...”进行对话。
二、课前准备(Preview)
教师描述天气情况,学生猜一猜是哪个季节。
It's very hot in this season.Everything is bright.
It's warm and sunny in this season.
It's cool and windy in this season.
It's cold and windy in this season.
三、新课呈现(Presentation)
1.Let's try.
(1)介绍听力任务。
T:Mike and Chen Jie are talking about the weather.Please listen to the tape and complete the sentence.
(2)教师带领学生读一读本部分的表示天气情况的单词,并共同回忆这些单词的汉语意思。

(3)第一次播放教学录音,学生根据录音内容完成句子。
三、新课呈现(Presentation)(续)
第二次播放教学录音,师生一起核对答案。
2.Let's talk.
(1)重点学习句子“Which season do you like best?”
T:There are four seasons in a year.They are spring,summer,fall and winter.What's your favourite season?(请一位学生回答)I like spring.It's warm.(板书spring,画一个笑脸)But I don't like winter.It's too cold.(板书winter,画一个哭脸)I like fall better.The apples are yummy.(板书fall,画两个笑脸)I like summer best.I can eat watermelons and ice creams.(板书summer,画三个笑脸)I like summer best.Which season do you like best?(带着疑问的表情重复问学生几次)
(2)出示本部分的情境图并介绍情境图内容。
T:(播放歌曲“The four seasons”的录音)Listen to the song.Is it beautiful?What's the song's name?It's The Four Seasons.Mr Jones and the children are having class.Let's listen to the tape and see what they're talking about.
(3)第一次播放教学录音,全班学生跟着录音读对话。
三、新课呈现(Presentation)(续)
第二次播放教学录音,学生听完录音后回答问题。
①What song do the children like?
②Which season does Mike like best?Why?
③Which season does Wu Yifan like best?Why?
Answers:
①The Four Seasons.
②Winter.He likes snow.
③Spring.It's pretty.
(4)第三次播放教学录音,全班学生分角色跟着录音读,提醒学生在跟读的过程中要注意模仿录音中的语音、语调。
(5)Ask and answer.
①学生在四人小组内调查各自最喜欢的季节,并将结果填入表格中。
②学生在小组内就各自最喜欢的季节开展对话。如:
S1:Which season do you like best,S2?
S2:Summer.Which season do you like best,S3?
S3:Spring.Which season do you like best,S4?
S4:Winter.Which season do you like best,S1?
S1:Autumn.
四、巩固延伸(Consolidation&Extension)
1.播放歌曲“What's your favourite season?”的录音,让学生小声跟着录音唱。然后引导学生对比意思相同的句型:“Which season do you like best?”和“What's your favourite season?”,加深对这两个句子的理解。
2.全班学生一起大声唱歌曲,边唱边配以有节奏的拍手动作。
五、课堂小结(Summary)
1.师生一起总结本课时的重点内容。
2.读一读,连一连。
