Zhang Ba_oyan,__an ordinary woman, is one of the founders of a website for lost children. In 1992, Zhang Baoyan and her husband Qin Yanyou experienced anxiety after losing their son for hours by accident. From then on, the couple started to pay attention to lost children and tried their best to offer help to them. They set up the website桞aby Go Home to help parents find their lost children for free.
In orde_r_to_r_un it well, Zhang gave up her job and became a fulltime volunteer. She talked on the phone for hours a day and paid up to 2,000 yuan a month. The couple travelled from south to north, to rescue lost children. In 2009, Zhang put forward suggestions on building a DNA database(数据库) to fight against child trafficking(非法交易). Then her suggestions were accepted by the Ministry of Public Security, which provides technical(专门的) support for helping lost children find their relatives. Since 2007, Baby Go Home has been developing fast. It has become a backbone to lead lost children’s ways home.
At present, Bab_y_Go_H_ome has become the only website working together with the antitrafficking office of the Ministry of Public Security. Up to November, 2019, Baby Go Home has helped more than 3,00 lost children find their relatives.

Heman _plante_d hot peppers(胡椒) in his five hectare field in his town. The 36yearold man put up a sign reading “Africa Hema Village” in Chinese, English and his native language. Heman studied in China from 2011 to 2018, receiving his master’s degree and doctorate in environmental science. He returned to Rwanda in 2018 with his wife, Yang Hong, who is from China, and started his own business.

Their team wa_s_surp_rised to find Heman’s good hot peppers, but there was a problem.
It’s difficult__to_sh_ip fresh hot peppers to China. They may become useless, so Chen’s team decided to make them into hot pepper sauce before shipping. And plastics mustn’t be used in Rwanda, they had to find proper ways to carry the sauce. Now Chen is happy to see that the hot pepper sauce has sold well in Heman’s offline and online stores.
Heman pointed__out_t_hat few local farmers grow hot peppers because it’s not easy to make money in the local hot pepper market. About half of the hot papers are wasted every year. So lots of farmers stop farming and go to the cities.
However, their c_onditi_ons are not much better. A man in Rwanda can only make 10 yuan($1.4) a day by working in the city. If they get Hema’s orders, they can make 50 to 60 yuan a day. Heman expressed his willingness to introduce more people to make money by farming, rather than working for lower incomes.
“It’s a c_hance__for Rwandan people to join the new field and change their lives,” Heman said. “Through building more Hema Villages, Rwanda has the chance to become a country of digital agriculture.”
