教材分析 本课为新标准版小学英语第八册Module2第2课时，本单元的内容以“购物计划”为主题，通过谈论物品的价格与特征，学习Daming的购物计划，引导学生学会制定自己的购物计划。
学情分析 四年级的学生已经具有较强的英语学习能力，大多数孩子养成了良好的听说习惯，能够自觉预习、复习课文。在三年级，学生已经学习了整十，整百和十几的数字表达，也知道I can buy… 的句式，对超市购物的场景也很熟悉。在第一课时，学生学习了如何用形容词描述物品的特征。在此基础上，学生要通过学习本课内容，能表达物品价格及特点，并能理解和描述购物计划,本课内容贴近实际生活，学生比较感兴趣。
教学目标 语言知识 a. 全部学生能听说和认读新单词：cost, hundred.
b. 全部学生能掌握重点句型：It costs one hundred and eighteen yuan.
语言技能 a. 全部学生能够描述Daming的购物计划；
