书面表达
Dear
Mr

I
know
that
you
want
a

as
a

to
travel
around
China.
It
is
a

to
you.
Li
Ming

Moreover,
he

so
it
is
his

that
make
him
qualified
for
his
position.
What
also
makes
him
admirable
is
that
under
no
circumstances
will
he

I
believe
this
is
a
desirable
quality
of
a
travel
guide.
I
would
appreciate
it
if
you
can
consider
my
recommendation.
I
hope
you
can

I
am

第二部分
阅读理解(共两节,满分50分)
第一节(共15
题,每小题2.5
分,满分37.5
分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的四个选项(A、B、C

D)中,选出最佳选项,并在答题卡上将该项涂黑。
A
You
put
a
great
deal
of
effort
into
reaching
the
college
of
your
choice.
It's
time
to
get
started.
But
what's
next?
Beginning
college
can
be
an
exciting
but
difficult
time.
Follow
these
tips
to
adjust
to
your
new
life
rapidly
and
make
the
most
of
your
college
experience.
▲To
save
time
and
money,
use
the
college’s
bus
system.
Taking
the
bus
to
school
is
quick,
easy
and
free
in
most
college
towns.
You
won't
have
to
locate
or
afford
a
place
to
park,
either.
It's
also
a
good
way
to
be
environmentally
aware.
▲Save
pennies
on
books
by
waiting
until
class
starts.
You
might
not
even
need
all
of
the
books
on
the
list.
New
textbooks
cost
an
arm
and
a
leg.
Try
buying
used
textbooks
---it's
a
sure
fair
way
to
save
money
and
serves
the
purpose
as
well.
▲Do
never
look
at
college
life
as
an
endless
series
of
parties
and
social
activities.
But
there
is
a
whole
lot
more
to
college
if
you
are
serious
about
graduating.
Having
a
good
college
experience
is
all
about
balancing
work
and
fun.
▲Be
aware
that
your
living
environment
can
largely
affect
you
academic
success.
If
the
dorm(宿舍)
doesn't
suit
you,
consider
living
at
home
with
your
family
or
renting
your
own
apartment.
The
best
location
for
your
studies
isn't
always
your
dorm.
Find
a
quiet
area,
like
the
library,
to
do
your
work.
Alternatively,
buy
some
headphones
that
block
out
noise.
▲Be
mindful
of
your
diet.
Make
healthy
food
choices
and
watch
what
you
eat.
Avoid
foods
that
are
processed
or
high
in
sugar.
The
“freshman
15”
is
real.
Many
college
students
gain
at
least
15
pounds
during
their
freshman
year.
▲While
electives(选修课)
can
be
helpful
when
figuring
out
your
major,
you
shouldn't
entirely
rely
on
them.
Clubs
and
other
organizations
exist
around.
Get
involved.
Make
sure,
though,
that
you
still
have
time
to
study.
Having
too
much
on
your
plate
can
hurt
your
grades.
21.
Which
of
the
following
ideas
can
save
money?
A.
Driving
your
own
car
B.
Buying
used
books
C.
Renting
an
apartment
D.
Attending
activities
22.
In
the
text,
freshmen
are
repeatedly
warned
against
________.
A.
academic
failures
B.
emotional
problems
C.
traffic
accidents
D.
social
activities
23.
The
underlined
phrase
“Having
too
much
on
your
plate”
probably
refers
to
________.
A.
using
too
much
money
for
meals
B.
eating
too
many
unhealthy
foods
C.
taking
part
in
too
many
after-class
activities
D.
taking
an
elective
that
has
too
many
students
B
Many
people
think
that
we
have
to
accept
whatever
life
throws
at
them.
They'll
say,
“This
is
my
fortune.
I
cannot
change
it.”
Of
course
not!
You
don't
have
to
suffer
needlessly.
Your
life
depends
on
you,
not
on
any
other
external
factor.
I
know
a
woman
who
says
she
just
accepts
what
life
gives
her
because
she
has
done
everything
she
can
to
improve
it.
Guess
what
her
lifestyle
is?
She
wakes
up
in
the
morning,
goes
to
work,
comes
back
home,
relaxes,
chats
with
,
watches
TV,
and
then
goes
to
sleep.
And
the
next
day,
the
same
routine
cycle
follows.
Is
this
what
she
calls
“doing
her
best”?
She
believes
she
has
tried
her
best
and
just
accepts
it
that
this
is
the
life
that
has
been
intended
for
her,
and
that
her
luck
can
only
change
if
God
wills
it.
She
hasn't
realized
that
we
have
to
do
our
share
of
making
the
effort
to
live
the
life
of
our
dreams.
Remember
that
you
harvest
what
your
sow.
You
have
to
get
off
the
sofa,
get
your
eyes
off
the
TV
screen,
get
your
hands
off
the
phone,
and
get
your
mind
and
body
to
work!
Don't
expect
your
luck
to
change
unless
you
do
something
about
it.
If
something
goes
wrong,
don't
just
regard
it
as
a
temporary(暂时的)
setback;
instead,
learn
your
lesson,
make
the
most
of
the
situation,
and
do
something
to
solve
the
problem.
It's
not
enough
to
think
positively;you
also
have
to
act
positively.
If
someone's
life
is
in
trouble,
do
you
just
hope
and
pray
that
things
will
turn
out
fine?
Of
course
not!
You
get
to
do
anything
you
can
to
save
the
person.
So
it
is
with
your
own
life.
It
is
not
enough
to
hope
for
the
best,
but
you
have
to
do
your
best.
In
other
words,
don't
just
stand
(or
sit)
there,
do
something
to
improve
your
life.
24.
The
text
is
mainly
written
to
advise
you
to
________.
A.
improve
your
life
B.
understand
yourself
C.
believe
in
yourself
D.
encourage
yourself
to
work
hard
25.
From
the
passage,
we
can
see
that
the
woman
________.
A.
enjoys
her
life
very
much

takes
her
way
of
life
for
granted
C.
tries
her
best
to
improve
her
life
D.
fails
to
achieve
her
life
goal
26.
Which
of
the
following
is
TRUE
according
to
the
passage?
A.
Many
people
do
little
to
change
their

have
to

people
are
willing
to
make
full
use
of

surprises.
But
this
year's
surprise
on
the
birthday
of
the
great
British
playwright
William
Shakespeare
is
surely
one
of
the
most
dramatic.
On
April
22,
one
day
before
his
441st
birthday
anniversary,
experts
discovered
that
one
of
the
most
recognizable
portraits
of
William
Shakespeare
is
a
fake
(假货).
This
means
that
we
no
longer
have
a
good
idea
of
what
Shakespeare
looked
like."It's
very
possible
that
many
pictures
of
Shakespeare
might
be
unreliable
because
many
of
them
are
copies
of
this
one,"
said
an
expert
from
Britain's
National
Portrait
Gallery.
The
discovery
comes
after
four
months
of
testing
using
X-rays,
ultraviolet
light,
microphotography
and
paint
samples.
The
experts
from
the
gallery
say
the
image
-commonly
known
as
the
"Flower
portrait"-was
actually
painted
in
the
1800s,
about
two
centuries
after
Shakespeare's
death.
The
art
experts
who
work
at
the
gallery
say
they
also
used
modern
chemistry
technology
to
check
the
paint
on
the
picture.
These
checks
found
traces
of
paint
dating
from
about
1814.Shakespeare
died
in
1616,
and
the
date
that
appears
on
the
portrait
is
1609.
"We
now
think
the
portrait
dates
back
to
around
1818
to
1840.This
was
when
there
was
a
renewed
interest
in
Shakespeare's
plays,"
Tarnya
Cooper,
the
gallery's
curator(馆长),
told
the
Associated
President.
The
fake
picture
has
often
been
used
as
a
cover
for
collections
of
his
plays.
It
is
called
the
Flower
portrait
because
one
of
its
owners,
Desmond
Flower,
gave
it
to
the
Royal
Shakespeare
Company.
"There
have
always
been
questions
about
the
painting,"
said
David
Howells,
curator
for
the
Royal
Shakespeare
Company."Now
we
know
the
truth,
we
can
put
the
image
in
its
proper
place
in
the
history
of
Shakespearean
portraiture."
Two
other
images
of
Shakespeare,
are
also
being
studied
as
part
of
the
investigation
and
the
results
will
come
out
later
this
month.________

D
When
I
was
16
years
old
and
in
foster
care
in
Tennessee,
people
told
me
I
was
unadoptable.
But
I
desperately
wanted
a
family.
I
sought
the
help
of
a
judge,
even
the
commissioner
of
the
Department
of
Children’s
Services,
and
was
adopted
(收养)
just
a
week
before
my
18th
birthday.
We
have
a
lot
to
be
grateful
for
and
this
holiday
season
let’s
not
forget
about
the
more
than
415,000
youth
in
foster
care
especially
older
youth.
These
youth
are
the
most
likely
to
get
overlooked
for
adoption,
but
they
shouldn’t
be.
They
need
and
deserve
a
family
just
as
much
as
young
children
do.
Making
an
older
youth
a
part
of
your
family
can
bring
just
as
much
a
joy
as
adopting
a
baby
or
a
younger
child—without
all
the
diapers(尿布)
and
potty
training(如厕训练).
My
adoption
was
life
changing
and
probably
the
best
thing
that
ever
happened
to
me.
I
still
remember
the
first
gift
my
parents
gave
to
me.
It
was
a
Mickey
Mouse
key
chain
with
a
key
to
their
home.
They
told
me
that
no
matter
what
happened
they
would
always
love
me
and
I’d
always
have
a
place
to
come
home
to.
This
is
our
17th
Thanksgiving
together...
My
first
Thanksgiving
with
my
family
was
a
little
overwhelming
with
lots
of
extended
family
including
grandparents,
aunts,
uncles,
and
cousins.
However,
it’s
when
I
realized
that
I
would
never
have
to
spend
another
holiday
alone
and
that
was
truly
an
amazing
feeling.
I
was
always
eager
to
spend
time
with
my
little
sister,
Beth.
She
was
six
when
I
joined
the
family.
My
dad
always
says
he
knew
we
were
really
sisters,
and
I
was
no
longer
a
guest
in
the
house
when
Beth
and
I
had
our
first
fight.
Today,
she’s
one
of
my
best
friends,
and
I’m
her
biggest
cheerleader.
There
were
also
bittersweet
Thanksgivings.
One
we
spent
in
my
mom’s
hospital
room.
It
was
there
that
she
helped
me
plan
my
wedding
but
passed
away
three
weeks
before
the
ceremony.
My
dad
walked
me
down
the
aisle,
and
my
sister
was
my
maid
of
honor.
Because
of
our
bond,
we
were
able
to
support
each
other
through
that
challenging
time
and
that’s
what
family
is
for—the
good
and
bad
times.
It’s
nice
having
my
dad
and
sister
to
share
holidays
and
special
occasions.
But
they’re
even
more
important
when
it
comes
to
the
little
things—like
having
someone
to
share
my
bad
day
with,
celebrate
my
promotion
at
work,
or
help
me
think
through
a
difficult
decision.
It’s
in
these
moments
that
I
just
can’t
imagine
being
alone
in
the
world.
I’m
so
glad
that
I
didn’t
listen
to
those
people
who
said
I
was
unadoptable,
I’d
never
find
a
family,
and
that
I
was
putting
myself
out
there
for
rejection.
It’s
a
risk
for
older
foster
youth
to
consider
adoption.
It’s
an
opportunity
to
be
rejected
once
again.
But
it’s
a
risk
they
should
take
because
life
doesn’t
end
at
18.
It’s
really
just
beginning.
If
you
know
someone
who
might
consider
adopting
an
older
teen,
please
share
my
story
--
and
have
him
or
her
think
of
my
family.
They
didn’t
get
to
see
my
first
steps
or
watch
me
be
a
pilgrim
in
my
second
grade
Thanksgiving
play.
But
they
taught
me
so
many
things
about
life,
and
were
there
to
watch
me
walk
across
the
stage
when
I
graduated
from
college
and
law
school
and
accompanied
me
to
the
White
House
last
year
as
I
was
honored
for
my
work
helping
foster
youth.
I
look
forward
to
many
more
Thanksgivings
with
my
family,
and
I’m
eternally
thankful
they
chose
me
to
be
a
part
of
their
family.

In
a
recent
survey
in
America,
62%
of
people
said
that
creativity
was
more
important
to
success
in
the
workplace
than
they
had
expected
it
would
be
when
they
were
in
school.
____36____.
It
is
of
course
possible
to
scan
people’s
brains
and
see
which
parts
are
firing
when
an
idea
is
created,
but
rather
more
romantically
it
can
be
thought
of
as
something
that
cannot
be
identified.
Creativity
is
what
comes
to
you
when
you
least
expect
it.
You
cannot
demand
creativity
from
your
mind,
nor
can
you
demand
that
you
are
creative
in
a
particular
way.
One
misunderstanding
about
creativity
is
that
it
is
meant
for
a
few
special
people.
This
is
not
true.?_____37_____.
Another
misconception
is
that
creativity
is
all
about
the
arts
but
this
simply
isn’t
true:
creativity
extends
to
maths
and
science
in
just
the
way
it
does
to
music
and
literature.
Those
who
see
things
differently
to
others
and
are
confident
enough
to
make
their
ideas
a
reality
are
the
ones
who
make
the
greatest
changes
in
the
world.
_____38_____.
Rather,
they
should
work
to
grow
and
exercise
it.
Students
should
be
taught
to
ask
questions
and
investigate
when
things
do
not
make
sense.
They
need
to
learn
to
view
mistakes
as
opportunities
for
learning
rather
than
something
that
was
unsuccessful.
It
is
worrying
that
many
schools
are
less
concerned
now
with
nurturing
creativity
when
this
is
the
most
important
time
in
history
for
it.
It
used
to
be
that
people
worked
hard,
went
to
university,
and
got
a
job.?_____39_____.
But
now,
everyone
works
hard,
goes
to
university—and
there
aren’t
the
jobs
out
there
that
guarantee
a
safe
future.?_____40_____.
We
can
use
it
to
set
ourselves
apart,
and
channel
it
to
face
the
challenges
of
the
future.
That
was
it
Everyone
has
the
ability
to
be
creative.
Creativity
is
influenced
by
many
factors
However,
creativity
can
be
developed
at
any
age
Without
creativity,
we
are
no
different
from
other
people
It’s
hard
to
work
out
where
exactly
creativity
comes
from
As
a
result,
it
is
incredibly
important
that
schools
do
not
prevent
creativity.
