—How is/was + 其他(your mother/weekend/winter holiday...)?
—主语 + is/was + 表达感想的形容词(great/interesting/boring...).
解析
此句型以how引导的特殊疑问句。常常和一般过去时连用。
例句
—How is your mom? 你妈妈身体怎么样？—She is very well. 她很好。
—How was your winter holiday? 你寒假过得怎么样？—It was boring. 很无趣。
拓展
一般过去时指的是过去某一时间发生的动作或存在的状态。动词通常用一般过去式来表示，除动词be的过去式was/were有人称变化，其他都没人称的变化。
—Why were you so upset yesterday?你昨天为什么那么难过？
—Because we failed the basetball game.我们输了篮球比赛。
