  Good
afternoon,
everybody.
Thank
you
for
listening.
I’m
Doctor
Reid.
Today
I
will
discuss
the
effect
of
sleep
on
school
students
with
you.
The
first
thing
is
whether
a
lack
of
sleep
affects
teenagers.
The
answer
is
“Yes”.
Many
teenagers
are
getting
little
sleep
and
there
are
concerns
that
this
could
have
a
serious
long-term
effect
on
their
health
but
we
don’t
know
for
sure
yet.
Researchers
are
also
looking
into
how
far
a
lack
of
sleep
affects
young
people
with
low
spirits.
But
one
study
has
clearly
shown
that
high
school
students
getting
low
grades
also
get
on
average
one
hour
less
sleep
than
students
getting
As.
Then
why
aren’t
teenagers
getting
enough
sleep?
It’s
a
problem
that
seems
to
affect
all
teenagers,
not
just
the
ones
who
eat
the
wrong
things
or
who
don’t
take
any
exercise.
I
think
too
many
teenagers
watch
TV
in
their
rooms
or
play
computer
games
until
very
late.
Some
students
say
they
stay
up
late
because
they
can’t
get
to
sleep
if
they
go
to
bed
earlier.
Well,
don’t
have
any
soft
drinks
or
any
drink
that
include
hot
chocolate
before
sleeping.
Reading
a
book
you
know
well
or
listening
to
a
story,
rather
than
music,
should
help
your
brain
to
relax.
So
you
shouldn’t
do
your
homework
just
before
going
to
sleep.
It
would
be
better
for
schools
to
stay
open
for
longer
so
that
pupils
can
do
their
homework
before
they
get
home.
Another
thing
that
some
schools
have
tried
successfully
is
to
begin
the
school
day
half
an
hour
later
and
end
the
school
day
half
an
hour
later,
which
seems
like
a
good
idea
to
me,
and
I
really
recommend
that.
17.
What
can
be
clearly
affected
if
teenagers
lack
sleep?
A.
Their
spirits.
    B.
Their
long-term
health.
C.
Their
grades.
18.
What
is
to
blame
for
teenagers
not
getting
enough
sleep
according
to
the
speaker?
A.
Poor
diet.

    B.
Lack
of
exercise.
C.
Too
much
entertainment.
19.
What
advice
does
the
speaker
give
to
teenagers
who
have
trouble
getting
to
sleep?
A.
Listen
to
music.
    B.
Read
a
book.
C.
Drink
hot
chocolate.
20.
What
does
the
speaker
suggest
schools
should
do?
A.
Start
lessons
later.
    B.
Shorten
the
school
day.
C.
Offer
classes
in
the
evenings.

  How
do
young
people
learn
best?
This
is
something
I
think
about
a
lot
when
teaching
foreign
languages
to
young
people.
I
often
find
that
traditional
teaching
methods
are
neither
always
effective
nor
interesting
for
young
brains
to
learn
a
foreign
language.
  After
moving
to
southern
Italy,
I
was
lucky
to
have
had
the
chance
to
run
a
private
course
teaching
English
to
under
7-year-olds.
I
was
aware
that
children
liked
to
sing
and
enjoyed
games
so
I
wanted
to
use
these
tools
to
help
my
students
develop
English
conversation
skills.
I
found
some
fun
and
easy
songs
online,
which
they
loved.
I
also
found
the
English
versions
of
some
nursery
rhymes
they
recognized.
All
of
them
were
very
interesting
and
helpful
but
students
could
still
not
have
a
basic
conversation
in
English.
  I
knew
I
wanted
these
guys
to
be
fully
immersed
in
the
language
I
was
teaching
and
I
also
wanted
them
to
speak
it.
I
was
keen
to
give
90%
of
my
lessons
in
English
but
I
knew
it’d
be
difficult
to
get
them
to
speak
in
a
foreign
language
they
have
little
or
zero
exposure
to
outside
our
lessons.
So
I
had
to
come
up
with
a
simple
yet
effective
plan.
  One
day
I
decided
to
prepare
a
simple
dialogue
in
English,
so
that
I
could
get
them
to
sing
and
chant
(反复地唱)
it,
rather
than
simply
getting
students
to
repeat
the
phrases.
I
discovered
that
chanting
some
conversational
sentences
was
the
way
to
get
students
to
speak
in
English

it
worked!
  So
when
teaching
English
to
young
people
now,
I
encourage
them
to
make
up
their
own
songs
and
chants
to
help
them
remember
expressions
or
complex
sentences.

society
is
headed.
Music
can
bring
us
back
to
memories
we
wish
to
never
forget,
or
bring
us
hope
when
we
feel
that
all
is
lost.
According
to
Nietzsche,
“Nothing
is
worth
living
for
without
music.

And
Albert
Einstein
once
said,
“Without
the
music
education
in
my
childhood,
I
would
succeed
in
nothing.

  Most
of
us
enjoy
different
kinds
of
music
just
to
entertain
(娱乐).
Are
there
other
reasons
for
us
to
listen
to
music?
Some
types
of
music
can
make
us
feel
relaxed.
After
a
long
workday,
classical
music
or
certain
types
of
jazz
can
physically
relax
our
bodies
and
take
our
attention
away
from
the
cares
of
the
day—at
least
for
a
while.
On
the
other
hand,
loud,
fast
music
with
a
strong
beat
can
excite
us.
In
fact,
sometimes
we
may
prefer
one
kind
of
music,
but
at
other
times,
that’s
the
last
thing
we
want
to
listen
to.
  Music
also
affects
our
feelings.
Movie
music
can
most
clearly
show
this.
If
you
close
your
eyes
in
an
action
movie
or
a
disaster
movie,
you
can
pretty
much
tell
what’s
happening
on
the
screen
by
the
music
alone.
The
same
is
true
for
a
love
story.
Film
composers
(作曲家)
such
as
John
Williams
get
paid
big
money
for
their
ability
to
change
your
feelings
from
moment
to
moment.
So
what’s
going
on
between
you
and
music?
Clearly,
music
and
feelings
are
closely
connected
in
some
non-physical
way.
28.

29.
Which
of
the
following
statements
would
the
author
agree
with?
A.
Classical

B.
Entertainment

C.
An
artist’s

D.
People
need
different
music
at

times.
30.

on
people’s
feelings.
C.
They

The

You
might
have
noticed
that
the
ringing
sound
of
basketballs
was
almost
like
the
beat
to
a
song.
But
did
you
know
that
it
could
be
taken
seriously
as
music?
  The
music
group
STOMP
has
taken
everyday
objects
and
turned
them
into
instruments.
The
music
it
has
created
is
a
hit
all
over
the
world.
  STOMP
was
formed
by
British
musicians
Luke
Cresswell
and
Steve
McNicholas.
They
met
in
the
early
1980s
when
they
were
both
working
as
buskers,
the
British
term
for
street
performers.
Cresswell
and
McNicholas
were
part
of
a
busking
group
called
Pookiesnackenburger
that
became
very
popular
throughout
Britain.
  Cresswell
was
a
drummer
(鼓手)
for
the
group.
Because
they
performed
on
the
street,
he
could
not
set
up
a
traditional
drum
set.
Instead,
he
wore
one
drum
that
hung
around
his
shoulders.
To
be
able
to
make
different
sounds,
Cresswell
began
beating
on
everyday
objects
that
he
could
find
during
performances.
This
creative
drumming
led
to
the
idea
for
STOMP.
  STOMP
made
its
first
public
appearance
at
London’s
Bloomsbury
Theatre
in
1991.
The
performers
used
one-of-a-kind
instruments,
such
as
empty
water
bottles,
basketballs,
and
matchboxes
to
create
music.
Wearing
overalls
and
T-shirts,
they
danced
around
on
a
stage
made
to
look
like
a
closed
warehouse
(仓库).
STOMP
was
a
great
success,
winning
many
theater
awards
and
drawing
huge
crowds
(人群).
  In
1994,
STOMP
came
to
the
United
States
and
played
at
the
Orpheum
Theater
in
New
York
City.
Years
later
it
is
still
playing
there!
To
celebrate
its
ten-year
anniversary
(周年纪念),
the
then
New
York
City
Mayor
Michael
Bloomberg
renamed
the
street
outside
the
theater
STOMP
Avenue.
  STOMP
has
now
toured
all
over
the
United
States
and
most
of
the
world.
One
reason
why
STOMP
is
so
popular
is
that
anyone
can
enjoy
it.
There
are
no
words
or
story.
People
from
all
cultures
can
understand
it,
no
matter
which
language
they
speak.
32.
What
makes
STOMP
a
special
music
group?
A.
There
are
few
words
in
its
music.
B.
It
usually
performs
in
warehouses.
C.
The
performers
wear
special
clothes.
D.
It
uses

about
STOMP?
A.
It
was
created
in
1980.

It
was

It
was

after
a

第二节(满分25分)
  阅读下面短文,
根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。
Why
You
Should
Never
Cross
Your
Legs
Crossing
your
legs
is
an
extremely
common
habit;
most
people
don’t
even
notice
that
they’re
doing
it
when
they
sit
down.
While
you
may
find
it
comfortable
to
sit
with
one
knee
crossed
over
the
other,
it
might
be
causing
health
problems
that
you
are
not
aware
of.
A
study
published
in
Blood
Pressure
Monitoring
stated
that
sitting
with
your
legs
crossed
can
increase
your
blood
pressure.
The
reason
this
happens
is
because
the
blood
in
your
legs
has
to
work
against
gravity
to
be
pumped
back
to
your
heart,
crossing
one
leg
over
the
other
increases
resistance,
making
it
even
harder
for
the
blood
to
circulate(循环).
This
causes
your
body
to
increase
your
blood
pressure
to
push
the
blood
back
to
the
heart.
Crossing
your
legs
can
also
lead
to
neck
and
back
pain.
Ideally,
it’s
best
for
our
bodies
to
sit
with
our
feet
planted
flat,
hip
width
apart,
on
the
floor,
but
it’s
not
easy
to
maintain
perfect
posture
all
day
at
the
office.
When
you
sit
with
your
legs
crossed
your
hips
are
in
a
twisted
position,
which
can
cause
one
of
your
pelvic
(骨盆的)
bones
to
move.
Since
your
pelvic
bone
supports
your
back
and
neck:
this
can
cause
pressure
on
your
lower
and
middle
back
and
neck.
Leg
crossing
has
long
been
linked
to
manners.
In
some
countries
and
cultures
leg
crossing
is
looked
on
as
casual,
disrespectful,
and
altogether
lower
class.
For
the
same
reasons,
many
religions
frown
upon
leg
crossing
in
church.
And
what’s
good
for
the
soul
should
be
good
for
the
feet
as
well.
But
respect
aside,
your
health
is
affected
in
the
long
run
if
you
are
accustomed
to
crossing
legs
although
you
might
not
feel
its
immediate
effects.
The
problem
is
really
caused
by
sitting
in
the
first
place.
Don’t
make
yourself
comfortable—get
up
and
get
moving.

Last
Christmas
my
older
sister
Jane
got
a
unicycle
(独轮脚踏车)
she
had
requested.
I
thought
it
kind
of
strange,
wondering
why
she
would
want
something
like
that.
She
did
ride
and
practice
for
a
while,
but
eventually
stopped.
  Out
of
curiosity,
I
tried
it,
finding
it
very
hard
and
thinking
it
impossible
for
a
weak
girl
like
me
to

Since
our
dining
room
of
our
old
house
had
low
beams

I
used
them
like
monkey
bars
to
practice
riding,
which
helped
a
lot.
Because
I
thought
it
was
really
fun,
I
practiced
every
spare
moment
I
had,
teaching
myself
to
go
forwards,
backwards
and
to
turn.
Practicing
was
something
I
loved
to
do
in
my
spare
time,
but
it
did
get
discouraging
when
I
fell.
After
months

money
for
charity.
She
encouraged
my
classmates
to
sign
up
for
it.
I’m
not
always
the
best
in
front
of
a
crowd,
which
was
why
I
was
very
nervous
when
I
meant
to
put
on
my
performance
by
doing
a
hula
hoop
(圈)
and
riding
a
unicycle
on
stage.
But
I
overcame
my
fear
and
entered
myself
for
the
talent
show,
for
which
I
practiced
a
lot
in
case
I
should
mess
up.
  My
routine
(整套动作)
was
to
do
the
hula
hoop
from
my
neck,
down
to
my
stomach,
then
to
my
knees.
After
that,
I
was
to
ride
my
unicycle
forwards
and
backwards
on
stage.
Lastly
I
would
do
the
hula
hoop
while
riding
the
unicycle.
I
was
to
do
all
this
accompanied
by
my
carefully
selected
music.
I
wondered
what
people
from
my
seventh
grade
would
think
of
my
performance.
With
my
friends
inspiring
me,
I
built
up
my
confidence.
On
the
night
of
the
show,
many
people
found
out
there
was
going
to
be
a
unicycle
performance,
so
more
came,
even
the
headmaster.

  Good
afternoon,
everybody.
Thank
you
for
listening.
I’m
Doctor
Reid.
Today
I
will
discuss
the
effect
of
sleep
on
school
students
with
you.
The
first
thing
is
whether
a
lack
of
sleep
affects
teenagers.
The
answer
is
“Yes”.
Many
teenagers
are
getting
little
sleep
and
there
are
concerns
that
this
could
have
a
serious
long-term
effect
on
their
health
but
we
don’t
know
for
sure
yet.
Researchers
are
also
looking
into
how
far
a
lack
of
sleep
affects
young
people
with
low
spirits.
But
one
study
has
clearly
shown
that
high
school
students
getting
low
grades
also
get
on
average
one
hour
less
sleep
than
students
getting
As.
Then
why
aren’t
teenagers
getting
enough
sleep?
It’s
a
problem
that
seems
to
affect
all
teenagers,
not
just
the
ones
who
eat
the
wrong
things
or
who
don’t
take
any
exercise.
I
think
too
many
teenagers
watch
TV
in
their
rooms
or
play
computer
games
until
very
late.
Some
students
say
they
stay
up
late
because
they
can’t
get
to
sleep
if
they
go
to
bed
earlier.
Well,
don’t
have
any
soft
drinks
or
any
drink
that
include
hot
chocolate
before
sleeping.
Reading
a
book
you
know
well
or
listening
to
a
story,
rather
than
music,
should
help
your
brain
to
relax.
So
you
shouldn’t
do
your
homework
just
before
going
to
sleep.
It
would
be
better
for
schools
to
stay
open
for
longer
so
that
pupils
can
do
their
homework
before
they
get
home.
Another
thing
that
some
schools
have
tried
successfully
is
to
begin
the
school
day
half
an
hour
later
and
end
the
school
day
half
an
hour
later,
which
seems
like
a
good
idea
to
me,
and
I
really
recommend
that.
17.
What
can
be
clearly
affected
if
teenagers
lack
sleep?
A.
Their
spirits.
    B.
Their
long-term
health.
C.
Their
grades.
答案:
C
18.
What
is
to
blame
for
teenagers
not
getting
enough
sleep
according
to
the
speaker?
A.
Poor
diet.

    B.
Lack
of
exercise.
C.
Too
much
entertainment.
答案:
C
19.
What
advice
does
the
speaker
give
to
teenagers
who
have
trouble
getting
to
sleep?
A.
Listen
to
music.
    B.
Read
a
book.
C.

hot
chocolate.
答案:
B
20.
What
does

  How
do
young
people
learn
best?
This
is
something
I
think
about
a
lot
when
teaching
foreign
languages
to
young
people.
I
often
find
that
traditional
teaching
methods
are
neither
always
effective
nor
interesting
for
young
brains
to
learn
a
foreign
language.
  After
moving
to
southern
Italy,
I
was
lucky
to
have
had
the
chance
to
run
a
private
course
teaching
English
to
under
7-year-olds.
I
was
aware
that
children
liked
to
sing
and
enjoyed
games
so
I
wanted
to
use
these
tools
to
help
my
students
develop
English
conversation
skills.
I
found
some
fun
and
easy
songs
online,
which
they
loved.
I
also
found
the
English
versions
of
some
nursery
rhymes
they
recognized.
All
of
them
were
very
interesting
and
helpful
but
students
could
still
not
have
a
basic
conversation
in
English.
  I
knew
I
wanted
these
guys
to
be
fully
immersed
in
the
language
I

and
I

wanted
them
to
speak

I
was
keen
to
give

in
English
but
I
knew
it’d
be
difficult
to
get
them
to
speak
in
a
foreign

they
have
little
or
zero
exposure
to

our

So
I
had
to
come
up
with
a
simple
yet
effective
plan.
  One
day
I
decided
to
prepare
a
simple
dialogue
in

so
that
I
could
get
them
to
sing
and
chant
(反复地唱)
it,
rather
than
simply
getting
students
to
repeat
the
phrases.
I
discovered
that
chanting
some
conversational
sentences
was
the
way
to
get
students
to
speak
in
English

it
worked!
  So
when
teaching
English
to
young
people
now,
I
encourage
them
to
make
up
their
own
songs
and
chants
to
help
them
remember
expressions
or
complex
sentences.

The
word
“music”
is
easier
to
use
in
practice
than
to
explain.
Music
is
a
reminder
(提醒物)
of
how
things
once
were,
a
symbol
of
how
things
are
and
a
view
of
where
society
is
headed.
Music
can
bring
us
back
to
memories
we
wish
to
never
forget,
or
bring
us
hope
when
we
feel
that
all
is
lost.
According
to
Nietzsche,
“Nothing
is
worth
living
for
without
music.

And
Albert
Einstein
once
said,
“Without

education

I

in
nothing.

  Most
of
us
enjoy
different
kinds
of
music
just
to
entertain
(娱乐).
Are
there
other
reasons
for
us
to
listen
to
music?
Some
types
of
music
can
make
us
feel
relaxed.
After
a
long
workday,
classical
music
or
certain
types
of
jazz
can
physically
relax
our
bodies
and
take
our
attention
away
from
the
cares
of
the
day—at
least
for
a
while.
On
the
other
hand,
loud,
fast
music
with
a
strong
beat
can
excite
us.
In
fact,
sometimes
we
may
prefer
one
kind
of
music,
but
at
other
times,
that’s
the
last
thing
we
want
to
listen
to.
  Music
also
affects
our
feelings.
Movie
music
can
most
clearly
show
this.
If
you
close
your
eyes
in
an
action
movie
or
a
disaster
movie,
you
can
pretty
much
tell
what’s
happening
on
the
screen
by
the
music
alone.
The
same
is
true
for
a
love
story.
Film
composers
(作曲家)
such
as
John

get
paid
big
money
for
their
ability
to
change
your
feelings
from
moment
to
moment.
So
what’s
going
on
between
you
and
music?
Clearly,
music
and
feelings
are
closely
connected
in
some
non-physical
way.

But
did
you
know
that
it
could

music?
  The

Cresswell
and
McNicholas
were
part
of
a

group
called
Pookiesnackenburger
that
became
very
popular
throughout
Britain.
  Cresswell
was
a
drummer
(鼓手)
for
the
group.
Because
they
performed
on
the
street,
he
could
not
set
up
a
traditional
drum
set.
Instead,
he
wore
one
drum
that
hung
around
his
shoulders.
To
be
able
to
make
different
sounds,
Cresswell
began
beating
on
everyday
objects
that
he
could
find
during
performances.
This
creative
drumming
led
to
the
idea
for
STOMP.
  STOMP
made
its

Theatre
in
1991.
The
performers

one-of-a-kind
instruments,

and
matchboxes
to

music.
Wearing
overalls

STOMP
was

One
reason
why
STOMP
is
so
popular
is
that
anyone

enjoy
it.
There
are
no
words
or

People
from
all
cultures
can

it,

fined。

62.
【解析】to
promote。句意:
推进垃圾分类必须有一个合法的保证。根据句意可知,
有一个合法的保证是为了更好地推进垃圾分类,
所以此处需用不定式结构表目的。故填to
promote。
63.
【解析】have
introduced。根据后面的时间段in
the
past
years“在过去几年里”可知,
此处需用现在完成时;
主语是many
other
foreign
countries,
是复数,
故填have
introduced。
64.
【解析】fixed。此处fix是一个动词,
根据后面的名词time可知,

第二节(满分25分)
  阅读下面短文,
根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。
Why
You
Should
Never
Cross
Your
Legs
Crossing
your
legs
is
an
extremely
common
habit;
most
people
don’t
even
notice
that
they’re
doing
it
when
they
sit
down.
While
you
may
find
it
comfortable
to
sit
with
one
knee
crossed
over
the
other,
it
might
be
causing
health
problems
that
you
are
not
aware
of.
A
study
published
in
Blood
Pressure
Monitoring
stated
that
sitting
with
your
legs
crossed
can
increase
your
blood
pressure.
The
reason
this
happens
is
because
the
blood
in
your
legs
has
to
work
against
gravity
to
be
pumped
back
to
your
heart,
crossing
one
leg
over
the
other
increases
resistance,
making
it
even
harder
for
the
blood
to
circulate(循环).
This
causes
your
body
to
increase
your
blood
pressure
to
push
the
blood
back
to
the
heart.
Crossing
your
legs
can
also
lead
to
neck
and
back
pain.
Ideally,
it’s
best
for
our
bodies
to
sit
with
our
feet
planted
flat,
hip
width
apart,
on
the
floor,
but
it’s
not
easy
to
maintain
perfect
posture
all
day
at
the
office.
When
you
sit
with
your
legs
crossed
your
hips
are
in
a
twisted
position,
which
can
cause
one
of
your
pelvic
(骨盆的)
bones
to
move.
Since
your
pelvic
bone
supports
your
back
and
neck:
this
can
cause
pressure
on
your
lower
and
middle
back
and
neck.
Leg
crossing
has
long
been
linked
to
manners.
In
some
countries
and
cultures
leg
crossing
is
looked
on
as
casual,
disrespectful,
and
altogether
lower
class.
For
the
same
reasons,
many
religions
frown
upon
leg
crossing
in
church.
And
what’s
good
for
the
soul
should
be
good
for
the
feet
as
well.
But
respect
aside,
your
health
is
affected
in
the
long
run
if
you
are
accustomed
to
crossing
legs
although
you
might
not
feel
its
immediate
effects.
The
problem
is
really
caused
by
sitting
in
the
first
place.
Don’t
make
yourself
comfortable—get
up
and
get
moving.

Last
Christmas
my
older
sister
Jane
got
a
unicycle
(独轮脚踏车)
she
had
requested.
I
thought
it
kind
of
strange,
wondering
why
she
would
want
something
like
that.
She
did
ride
and
practice
for
a
while,
but
eventually
stopped.
  Out
of
curiosity,
I
tried
it,
finding
it
very
hard
and
thinking
it
impossible
for
a
weak
girl
like
me
to

Since
our
dining
room
of
our
old
house
had
low
beams
(屋梁),
I
used
them
like
monkey
bars
to
practice
riding,
which
helped
a
lot.
Because
I
thought
it
was
really
fun,
I
practiced
every
spare
moment
I
had,
teaching
myself
to
go
forwards,
backwards
and
to
turn.
Practicing
was
something
I
loved
to
do
in
my
spare
time,
but
it
did
get
discouraging
when
I
fell.
After
months
of
practicing,
I
finally
made
it.
  One
morning,
our
teacher
Maria
excitedly
announced
that
a
school
talent
show
was
to
be
held
to
raise
money
for
charity.
She
encouraged
my
classmates
to
sign
up
for
it.
I’m

was
why

But
I
overcame
my
fear
and
entered
myself
for
the
talent
show,
for
which
I
practiced
a
lot
in
case
I
should
mess
up.
  My
routine
(整套动作)
was
to
do
the
hula
hoop
from
my
neck,
down
to
my
stomach,
then
to
my
knees.
After
that,
I
was
to
ride
my
unicycle
forwards
and
backwards
on
stage.
Lastly
I
would
do
the
hula
hoop
while
riding
the
unicycle.
I
was
to
do
all
this
accompanied
by
my
carefully
selected
music.
I
wondered
what
people
from
my
seventh
grade
would
think
of
my
performance.
With
my
friends
inspiring
me,
I
built
up
my
confidence.
On
the
night
of
the
show,
many
people
found
out
there
was
going
to
be
a
unicycle
performance,
so
more
came,
even
the
headmaster.
