【解析】
【分析】这是一篇记叙文。文章讲述了一位被抢劫的教授意外地捡到了抢劫犯丢失的彩票。随后,教授发现该彩票为中奖彩票,教授最终通过媒体找到了这位抢劫犯,并归还了用彩票兑换的奖金。
【4题详解】
推理判断题。根据下一句“Finally,
he
decided
he
could
not
keep
the
money
despite
having
been
robbed.(最后,他决定尽管自己被抢了,这笔钱也不能留下)”可知,教授在彩票中奖后,内心很矛盾,但最终还是决定返还这笔钱。由此推断出,教授看到彩票结果犹豫了很久才做出的决定。A项he
knew
what
he
should
do
as
soon
as
he
saw
the
lottery
results(他一看到彩票结果就知道该怎么办)不符合推测。故选A项。
【5题详解】
细节理解题。由最后一段第一句“Professor
Sabbatucci
received
hundreds
of
calls
from
people
hoping
to
trick
him
into
handing
them
the
cash.(Sabbatucci教授接到了数百个电话,人们都想骗他把钱交给他们)”可知,数百人给教授打电话是想要得到这笔钱。故选B项。
【6题详解】
推理判断题。由最后一段中的“He
could
not
believe
what
was
happening.(他难以相信发生了什么)”可知,得知受害者想要找到他时,那位抢劫犯对所发生的事难以置信。故选D项。
【7题详解】
词句猜测题。根据所猜词上一句“The
professor
replied,
“I
couldn’t
because
it’s
not
mine.”(教授回复道,我不能这样做,因为这不是我的)”可知,教授拒绝了抢劫犯给予的酬金,因为这不是他的钱。故所猜词spurning的意思为“拒绝”。故选C。
C
No
one
ever
said
science
education
was
easy.
Certainly
the
concepts
we
teach,
like
conservation
of
momentum
(动量守恒)
or
quantum
mechanics
(量子力学),can
be
hard
to
grasp.
But
what
really
makes
our
reaching
complicated
is
that
we're
also
trying
to
teach
a
deeper
lesson
at
the
same
time
—
to
help
students
understand
the
nature
of
science
itself.
All
too
often,
young
people
get
the
impression
that
science
is
about
learning
certain
"laws"
and
then
applying
them
to
different
situations.
After
all,
that's
what
we
make
them
do
on
tests,
to
show
that
they've
been
doing
the
work.
But
that's
not
it
at
all.
Science
is
the
process
of
building
these
concepts
through
the
collection
of
experimental
evidence.
And
while
I'm
on
it
let's
call
these
concepts
what
they
really
are
—
not
laws,
but
models.
Science
is
all
about
building
and
testing
models.
It's
difficult
to
help
students
understand
that
aspect
of
science
when
we
just
give
them
the
models
to
begin
with.
Sure,
in
physics
we
often
include
historical
or
mathematical
evidence
to
support
big
ideas,
but
that
often
isn't
enough.
Of
course,
we
can't
start
from
scratch.
If
students
had
to
build
their
own
models
from
the
ground
up,
it
would
be
like
trying
to
learn
programming
by
inventing
computers.
As
Isaac
Newton
is
supposed
to
have
said,
we
stand
on
the
shoulders
of
giants.
We
must
take
models
built
by
others
and
go
from
there.
What
I'd
like
to
suggest
is
that
this
actually
provides
a
great
way
into
the
adventure
of
science
and
an
opportunity
to
meet
our
objectives
as
educators.
If
you
can
create
a
situation
that
challenges
students'
assumptions
and
produces
conceptual
conflict,
that's
a
great
opportunity
for
learning.
8.
What
is
the
misunderstanding
of
teaching
science?
A.
It's
complicated.
B.
It
focuses
on
the
nature
of
science.
C.
It's
very
difficult.
D.
It
lies
in
teaching
and
testing
“laws”.
9.
Which
way
to
teach
science
is
highly
recommended
by
the
author?
A.
Encouraging
students
to
always
start
from
scratch.
B.
Providing
students
with
some
models
to
follow
suit.
C.
Guiding
students
to
begin
with
models
built
by
others.
D.
Offering
students
proof
to
support
important
concepts.
10.
The
author
cites
Isaac
Newton's
words
to
.
A.
justify
the
experiment
B.
praise
the
statement
C.
show
the
achievement
D.
support
the
argument
11.
What
is
the
best
title
of
the
passage?
A.
Science

【解析】
【分析】这是一篇说明文。文章主要讲述了科学的定义和科学教学,并进行了理性思辨与阐发。
【8题详解】
细节理解题。根据第二段“All
too
often,
young
people
get
the
impression
that
science
is
about
learning
certain
"laws"
and
then
applying
them
to
different
situations.
(年轻人时常认为科学是学习特定的“法则”,并将它们应用至不同的情境下)”及“But
that's
not
it
at
all.(但并不是)”可知,年轻人有这样一种认知误区,教科学就是教法则和验证法则,故选D项。
【9题详解】
细节理解题。根据第四段“We
must
take
models
built
by
others
and
go
from
there.(我们必须借鉴前人已经建立的模型并且从他们那里开始)”可知,作者认为让学生自己创建模型是件很难的事情,借鉴前人已经建立的模型让学生一步步接触、学习并效仿才是最好的方法。故选C项。
【10题详解】
推理判断题。根据第四段“Of
course,
we
can't
start
from
scratch.(我们当然不能从头开始)”及“We
must
take
models
built
by
others
and
go
from
there.(我们必须借鉴前人已经建立的模型并且从他们那里开始)”可知,作者反对让学生平地筑高楼的方法,认为难度过大。而作者认为最好的方式是借鉴前人,从前人的经验出发进行科研。牛顿的话意思是:我们站在巨人的肩膀上,即我们拥有很多可以参考的前人的经验和结论、理论模型能够用来借鉴。由此可知,作者引用牛顿的话是为了佐证自己的观点。故选D项。
【11题详解】
主旨大意题。根据第一段“No
one
ever
said
science
education
was
easy.(没人曾说过科学教育是简单的)”可知,文章从第一段就引入“科学教学”。后文又讲述了在科学教学方面的种种,进行了理性思辨与阐发。故选A项。

a
waste.You’re
actively
wasting
money,and
missing
vital
information.We(and
the
government)pay
quite
a
lot
for
our
education,but
you
are
here
to
ignore
someone
significantly
more
experienced
than
us,in
classes
we
picked,for
hours
every
week.
I
know
major
requirements
can
be
boring,but
this
is
still
an
education.It
requires
two-way
effort.Most
of
students
here
have
at
least
one
goal
in
common:success.Not
every
checkpoint
on
that
path
is
going
to
be
filled
with
joy.Sit
down,shut
up,and
force
yourself
to
listen
to
your
professor.Society
tells
us
it
will
eventually
pay
off.
Or
maybe
it
won’t
because
you
don’t
want
to.
I
actually
don’t
care
if
you
decide
to
pay
little
or
no
attention
to
the
lecture
itself,so
long
as
you’re
not
being
disturbing.
For
those
willing
to
try,in
20
years
when
you
finally
pay
off
your
debt
with
your
fairly
secure
white-collar
job,you’ll
look
back
and
be
happy
that
you
went
through
the
lectures.
12.

Both
places
are
supposed
to
be
quiet.

can
seat
over
200
people.
D.
Both
places
help
rid
people
of
their
guilt.

can
we
infer
about
the
author
from
the

【解析】
【分析】这是一篇议论文。通过描写“我”的听课经历:课堂上很多人窃窃私语,影响“我”听课。进而谈自己对这种行为的看法。“我”认为课堂上就要坐好,不说话,迫使自己听教授的课。社会最终会对我们有回报。因此,课堂上要注意自己的行为。
【12题详解】
细节理解题。从第一段“uncomfortably
silent”“You
should
feel
guilty
opening
your
water
bottle,because
all
200
people
in
the
room
can
hear
it.”这两个地方可看出,报告厅和教堂都有很“安静”这个共同点,这样为下文其他同学在课堂上说话并打扰到作者学习做铺垫。故选B项。
【13题详解】
推理判断题。从第五段“I
know
major
requirements
can
be
boring,but
this
is
still
an
education.It
requires
two-way
effort”,和“Society
tells
us
it
will
eventually
pay
off.”可以看出作者认为虽然学习可能是枯燥的,但是依旧是教育。并且,需要老师和学生双方面努力。最终,社会会给你回报,所以作者认为学习是他的责任。故选C项。
【14题详解】
推理判断题。根据文章中倒数第二段:I
actually
don’t
care
if
you
decide
to
pay
little
or
no
attention
to
the
lecture
itself,
so
long
as
you’re
not
being
disturbing,可以得出,“我”对周围同学态度是:只要不打扰就行。可以推断“我”对周围打扰其他人的同学的行为是愤怒的,生气的。故选A项。
【15题详解】
主旨大意题。纵观全文可以看出,“我”写这篇文章是结合自己的听课经历:课堂上很多人窃窃私语,影响“我”听课。所以我谈自己对这种行为的观点:I
know
major
requirements
can
be
boring,
but
this
is
still
an
education.及Sit
down,
shut
up,
and
force
yourself
to
listen
to
your
professor.
Society
tells
us
it
will
eventually
pay
off.课堂上就要坐好,不说话,迫使自己听教授的课。社会最终会对我们有回报。因此,课堂上要注意自己的行为。因此选D项。

(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项.选项中有两项为多余选项.
New
Lives
for
Old
Phones
When
a
new
mobile
phone
starts
to
be
sold
in
stores,
many
people
rush
out
to
buy
one.
We
all
want
the
newest,
latest
thing.
___16___.
Mike
Townsend
works
at
Total
Recall,
a
mobile
phone
recycling
company.
“Don’t
throw
your
old
phone
away.
___17___
if
you
throw
it
away,
it
goes
with
other
rubbish
to
become
landfill.
In
other
words,
it
is
put
in
a
big
hole
in
the
ground
and
it
becomes
a
big
problem,”
he
says.
Mobile
phones
contain
some
poisonous
materials.
If
your
phone
goes
to
a
landfill,
these
poisonous
materials
can
get
out
and
get
into
the
water
under
the
ground.
That’s
the
water
we
need
to
drink
or
water
goes
into
rivers
or
the
ocean.
___18___
That’s
a
lot
of
landfill
and
a
lot
of
poisonous
materials.
“At
Total
Recall,
we
separate
the
old
phones
into
pieces.
Most
of
the
materials
in
the
mobile
phones
can
be
recycled
and
used
again.
___19___
For
example,
phone
batteries
contain
nickel
and
cadmium.
The
nickel
is
used
to
make
steel
and
the
cadmium
can
be
used
to
make
new
batteries.”
explains
Mike.
“___20___
You
can
usually
just
take
it
into
a
mobile
phone
shop
and
they
wilt
send
it
to
us,”
says
Mike.
So
before
you
throw
that
old
mobile
phone
away,
use
it
the
last
time:
search
for
a
recycler
near
you
and
give
them
a
call.
A.
Recycling
your
old
phone
is
easy.
B.
Send
it
to
us
and
we’ll
recycle
it.
C.
How
much
is
your
old
mobile
phone
worth?
D.
But
what
should
we
do
with
our
old
mobile
phones?
E.
Millions
of
mobile
phones
are
thrown
away
every
year.
F.
Recycling
materials
helps
keep
the
environment
greener
and
cleaner.
G.
We
take
apart
the
old
phones
and
they
are
used
to
make

products.

【答案】Dear
Mr.
Brown,
I’m
really
glad
to
receive
your
email.
As
you
have
seen,
many
Chinese
choose
to
stick
the
character
Fu
on
the
door
upside
down
during
the
Spring
Festival.
This
actually
expresses
their
best
wishes
for
the
new
year.
In
Chinese,
the
character
for
"upside
down"
sounds
the
same
as
the
character
"to
arrive",
so
this
means
that
happiness
is
arriving.
Quite
interesting,
isn’t
it?
By
the
way,
I’d
like
to
invite
you
to

the

【解析】
【详解】李华写邮件答复外教对福字倒贴的疑问并邀请外教到自己家过端午节。题目考查的是书信体应用文,所以考生写文章的时候一定要符合书信的格式。本题目已经给出了信的格式,那么考生就需要在写的时候,注意词数的计算。像这一类的作文,考生在作答时,可以按照题目给出的作答要点来写。首先应该礼貌地跟收信方打招呼;然后简单地解释福字倒贴的原因,之后就这一传统的寓意进行详细的解说;接着可以说因为了解到对方对中国传统节日比较感兴趣,所以邀请对方到自己家过端午节,共同体验这一传统节日;最后不要忘记写期待对方的回复。但是如果只是干干巴巴的把题目要求的要点翻译并陈列在答题纸上是得不到高分的。这就需要考生们在作答时多用一些高级或优美的词汇或词组,但不是难词的堆砌或重复。还要注意表达邀请时,适当运用英语中的情态动词,使书信的语气更客气委婉。
【范文亮点】

第二节(满分25分)
47.
阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。
Steve
was
the
most
amazing
person
in
all
of
Minneapolis,
and
he
was
my
cousin.
By
the
age
of
19,
Steve
was
a
star
baseball
player
at
the
University
of
Minnesota.
I
wanted
to
be
exactly
like
him.
So
when
Steve
asked
me
to
go
with
him
on
a
spring
fishing
trip
in
northern
Minnesota,
I
was
excited!
After
planning
the
trip,
we
gathered
clothes
and
supplies,
and
began
our
great
adventure.
We
reached
the
Superior
National
Forest
in
northern
Minnesota
by
early
evening.
On
our
way
to
the
campsite,
Steve
pointed
to
a
small
house
faraway
in
one
of
the
mountains,
saying
that
it
was
the
ranger
station
where
the
forester
worked.
Finally,
after
a
long
walk,
we
reached
the
campsite
and
set
up
the
camp
as
the
sun
was
setting.
Steve
knew
all
the
tricks
of
an
experienced
wilderness
camper.
After
we
gathered
enough
wood
from
the
forest,
he
started
the
campfire
using
only
stone
and
steel—no
matches.
For
supper
we
feasted
on
freeze-dried
beef,
wild
rice
and
pea
soup.
I
ate
greedily
after
all
that
work.
Tired
enough,
we
climbed
into
our
sleeping
bags
early
and
talked
about
our
plans
for
fishing
the
next
day.
We
were
still
talking
quietly
when
a
sudden
north
wind
picked
up;
the
temperature
dropped
and
it
began
to
snow.
Steve
found
a
way
to
increase
the
temperature
inside
the
tent.
He
dragged
a
log
from
the
forest
to
the
opposite
side
of
the
campfire.
Then
he
wrapped
aluminum
foil
around
the
log.
The
heat
from
the
fire
reflected
off
the
foil
and
into
the
tent.
Soon
images
of
lake
fish
were
filling
my
dreams.
The
snow
had
stopped,
but
sometime
later
a
powerful
wind
must
have
kicked
up
the
flames
of
our
dying
fire.
I
was
abruptly
awakened
by
Steve.
Our
tent
was
on
fire.
Frightened,
I
ran
out
of
the
tent
immediately.
The
tent
collapsed
with
Steve
inside.

I

Paragraph

us

to
help
students
understand
the
nature
of
science
itself.
All
too
often,
young
people
get
the
impression
that
science
is
about
learning
certain
"laws"
and
then
applying
them
to
different
situations.
After
all,
that's
what
we
make
them
do
on
tests,
to
show
that
they've
been
doing
the
work.
But
that's
not
it
at
all.
Science
is
the
process
of
building
these
concepts
through
the
collection
of
experimental
evidence.
And
while
I'm
on
it
let's
call
these
concepts
what
they
really
are
—
not
laws,
but
models.
Science
is
all
about
building
and
testing
models.
It's
difficult
to
help
students
understand
that
aspect
of
science
when
we
just
give
them
the
models
to
begin
with.
Sure,
in
physics
we
often
include
historical
or
mathematical
evidence
to
support
big
ideas,
but
that
often
isn't
enough.
Of
course,
we
can't
start
from
scratch.
If
students
had
to
build
their
own
models
from
the
ground
up,
it
would
be
like
trying
to
learn
programming
by
inventing
computers.
As
Isaac
Newton
is
supposed
to
have
said,
we
stand
on
the
shoulders
of
giants.
We
must
take
models
built
by
others
and
go
from
there.
What
I'd
like
to
suggest
is
that
this
actually
provides
a
great
way
into
the
adventure
of
science
and
an
opportunity
to
meet
our
objectives
as
educators.
If
you
can
create
a
situation
that
challenges
students'
assumptions
and
produces
conceptual
conflict,
that's
a
great
opportunity
for
learning.
8.
What
is
the
misunderstanding
of
teaching
science?
A.
It's
complicated.
B.
It
focuses
on
the
nature
of
science.
C.
It's
very
difficult.
D.
It
lies
in
teaching
and
testing
“laws”.
9.
Which
way
to
teach
science
is
highly
recommended
by
the
author?
A.
Encouraging
students
to
always
start
from
scratch.
B.
Providing
students
with
some
models
to
follow
suit.
C.
Guiding
students
to
begin
with
models
built
by
others.
D.
Offering
students
proof
to
support
important
concepts.
10.
The
author
cites
Isaac
Newton's
words
to
.
A.
justify
the
experiment
B.
praise
the
statement
C.
show
the
achievement
D.
support
the
argument
11.
What
is
the
best
title
of
the
passage?
A.
Science
teaching
B.
Concept
building
C.
Science

D.
Concept

D
A
lecture
hall
should
be
like
a
church-a
little
too
dark,much
too
cold,and
uncomfortably
silent.You
should
feel
guilty
opening
your
water
bottle,because
all
200
people
in
the
room
can
hear
it.
So
when
I’m
trying
to
pay
attention,the
last
thing
you
should
be
doing
is
carrying
on
a
conversation
about
your
last
weekend
party
or
anything
else.
During
the
past
school
termI’ve
had
enough.One
of
my
biggest
complaints
of
large
class
sizes
is
the
tendency
for
three
to
five
friends
to
sit
together
and
loudly
whisper
each
others’
ears
off
for
an
hour
and
15
minutes
straight.My
stupid
monkey
brain
can’t
help
but
focus
on
your
conversation
about
the
difference
between
ash
blonde
and
light
blonde
colored
hair
that
look
exactly
the
same.
To
me,it
just
feels
like
a
waste.You’re
actively
wasting
money,and
missing
vital
information.We(and
the
government)pay
quite
a
lot
for
our
education,but
you
are
here
to
ignore
someone
significantly
more
experienced
than
us,in
classes
we
picked,for
hours
every
week.
I
know
major
requirements
can
be
boring,but
this
is
still
an
education.It
requires
two-way
effort.Most
of
students
here
have
at
least
one
goal
in
common:success.Not
every
checkpoint
on
that
path
is
going
to
be
filled
with
joy.Sit
down,shut
up,and
force
yourself
to
listen
to
your
professor.Society
tells
us
it
will
eventually
pay
off.
Or
maybe
it
won’t
because
you
don’t
want
to.
I
actually
don’t
care
if
you
decide
to
pay
little
or
no
attention
to
the
lecture
itself,so
long
as
you’re
not
being
disturbing.
For
those
willing
to
try,in
20
years
when
you
finally
pay
off
your
debt
with
your
fairly
secure
white-collar
job,you’ll
look
back
and
be
happy
that
you
went
through
the
lectures.
12.
Why
is
a
lecture
hall
compared
to
a
church
by
the
author?
A.
Both
places
are
open
to
the
public.
B.
Both
places
are
supposed
to
be
quiet.
C.
Both
places
can
seat
over
200
people.
D.
Both
places
help
rid
people
of
their
guilt.
13.
What
can
we
infer
about
the
author
from
the
passage?
A.
He
likes
persuading
others.
B.
He
tends
to
make
complaints.
C.
He
values
education
as
a
duty.
D.
He
cares
much
about
friendship.
14.
How
does
the
author
feel
when
writing
the
passage?
A.
Annoyed.
B.
Deserted.
C.
Thrilled.
D.
Worried.
15.
What
may
be
the
best
title
for
the
text?
A.

New
Lives
for
Old
Phones
When
a
new
mobile
phone
starts
to
be
sold
in
stores,
many
people
rush
out
to
buy
one.
We
all
want
the
newest,
latest
thing.
___16___.
Mike
Townsend
works
at
Total
Recall
a
mobile
phone
recycling
company.
“Don’t
throw
your
old
phone
away.
___17___
if
you
throw
it
away,
it
goes
with
other
rubbish
to
become
landfill.
In
other
words,
it
is
put
in
a
big
hole
in
the
ground
and
it
becomes
a
big
problem,”
he
says.
Mobile
phones
contain
some
poisonous
materials.
If
your
phone
goes
to
a
landfill,
these
poisonous
materials
can
get
out
and
get
into
the
water
under
the
ground.
That’s
the
water
we
need
to
drink
or
water
goes
into
rivers
or
the
ocean.
___18___
That’s
a
lot
of
landfill
and
a
lot
of
poisonous
materials.
“At
Total
Recall,
we
separate
the
old
phones
into
pieces.
Most
of
the
materials
in
the
mobile
phones
can
be
recycled
and
used
again.
___19___
For
example,
phone
batteries
contain
nickel
and
cadmium.
The
nickel
is
used
to
make
steel
and
the
cadmium
can
be
used
to
make
new
batteries.”
explains
Mike.
“___20___
You
can
usually
just
take
it
into
a
mobile
phone
shop
and
they
wilt
send
it
to
us,”
says
Mike.
So
before
you
throw
that
old
mobile
phone
away,
use
it
the
last
time:
search
for
a
recycler
near
you
and
give
them
a
call.
A
Recycling
your
old
phone
is
easy.
B.
Send
it
to
us
and
we’ll
recycle
it.
C.
How
much
is
your
old
mobile
phone
worth?
D.
But
what
should
we
do
with
our
old
mobile
phones?
E.
Millions
of
mobile
phones
are
thrown
away
every
year.
F.
Recycling
materials
helps
keep
the
environment
greener
and
cleaner.
G.
We
take
apart
the
old
phones
and
they
are
used
to
make
new
products.

阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。
Steve
was
the
most
amazing
person
in
all
of
Minneapolis,
and
he
was
my
cousin.
By
the
age
of
19,
Steve
was
a
star
baseball
player
at
the
University
of
Minnesota.
I
wanted
to
be
exactly
like
him.
So
when
Steve
asked
me
to
go
with
him
on
a
spring
fishing
trip
in
northern
Minnesota,
I
was
excited!
After
planning
the
trip,
we
gathered
clothes
and
supplies,
and
began
our
great
adventure.
We
reached
the
Superior
National
Forest
in
northern
Minnesota
by
early
evening.
On
our
way
to
the
campsite,
Steve
pointed
to
a
small
house
faraway
in
one
of
the
mountains,
saying
that
it
was
the
ranger
station
where
the
forester
worked.
Finally,
after
a
long
walk,
we
reached
the
campsite
and
set
up
the
camp
as
the
sun
was
setting.
Steve
knew
all
the
tricks
of
an
experienced
wilderness
camper.
After
we
gathered
enough
wood
from
the
forest,
he
started
the
campfire
using
only
stone
and
steel—no
matches.
For
supper
we
feasted
on
freeze-dried
beef,
wild
rice
and
pea
soup.
I
ate
greedily
after
all
that
work.
Tired
enough,
we
climbed
into
our
sleeping
bags
early
and
talked
about
our
plans
for
fishing
the
next
day.
We
were
still
talking
quietly
when
a
sudden
north
wind
picked
up;
the
temperature
dropped
and
it
began
to
snow.
Steve
found
a
way
to
increase
the
temperature
inside
the
tent.
He
dragged
a
log
from
the
forest
to
the
opposite
side
of
the
campfire.
Then
he
wrapped
aluminum
foil
around
the
log.
The
heat
from
the
fire
reflected
off
the
foil
and
into
the
tent.
Soon
images
of
lake
fish
were
filling
my
dreams.
The
snow
had
stopped,
but
sometime
later
a
powerful
wind
must
have
kicked
up
the
flames
of
our
dying
fire.
I
was
abruptly
awakened
by
Steve.
Our
tent
was
on
fire.
Frightened,
I
ran
out
of
the
tent
immediately.
The
tent
collapsed
with
Steve
inside.
