9B Unit 1 Life on Mars
Period 1 Welcome to the unit
About Mars
First, Mars can be hot but sometimes it can be
very cold. Although the temperature can be 27℃, it
can also be as low as -133 ℃. It is impossible for
human setters (开拓者) to survive under this kind of
low temperature.
Secondly, water is a problem. About three
billion years ago, there was water on Mars.
However , it is frozen and has become ice now.
