How
do
we
know
the
time?
A
clock,a
watch
or
a
mobile
phone
can
help
us.However,many
years
ago
there
were
no
clocks
and
knowing
the
time
was
not
so
easy.Over
the
centuries
people
have
developed
different
ways
of
telling
the
time.
真题剖析
About
5,500
years
ago,the
Egyptians
invented
the
sun
clock.This
was
a
tall
stone
building.Its
shadow(影子)
showed
the
movement
of
the
sun.So
people
were
able
to
know
midday.The
Egyptians
made
a
sundial
about
3,500
years
ago.It
was
smaller
than
the
sun
clock
and
could
let
people
know
the
time
for
half
a
day.On
cloudy
days
or
at
night
it
was
impossible
to
tell
the
time
with
a
sun
clock
or
a
sundial.Water
clocks
were
the
first
clocks
not
to
use
the
sun.The
idea
is
simple.Water
flows(流动)
from
one
bottle
to
another.When
the
water
reaches
a
certain
level,it
shows
the
hours.The
Egyptians
used
water
clocks
about
3,400
years
ago.These
clocks
were
popular
in
the
Middle
East
and
China.But
they
failed
to
make
people
know
the
exact
time.
In
the
13th
century,the
mechanical
clock
was
invented.This
was
more
exact,but
it
was
expensive
to
make
one.Over
the
next
few
centuries
it
was
developed.For
example,springs(发条)
were
added
around
1500.This
enabled
people
to
get
the
correct
time
and
allowed
clocks
to
be
smaller.In
1927,the
first
quartz
clock
was
developed.Clocks
became
cheaper
to
build.It's
also
cheaper
for
ordinary
people
to
own
a
clock.People
began
depending
on
them
more
and
more
to
run
businesses,markets
and
so
on.More
recently,in
1956,came
the
digital
clock.And
nowadays
satellites
send
our
mobile
phones
the
time
to
the
exact
second.
There
has
been
a
lot
of
progress
in
timekeeping.Clocks
are
always
changing
but
some
things
never
change.Many
of
us
still
have
trouble
getting
out
of
bed
on
time
and
not
being
late
for
school
or
work.

1.B 根据第二段第七句“On
cloudy
days
or
at
night
it
was
impossible
to
tell
the
time
with
a
sun
clock
or
a
sundial.”可知,在阴天、夜晚和雨天无法使用日晷计时。故选B。命题点:细节理解
2.D 根据第三段第七句“Clocks

3.C 通读全文可知,文中共提到了“sun
clock”,“sundial”,“water
clocks”,“mechanical
clock”,“quartz
clock”和“digital
clock”六种钟表。故选C。命题点:推理判断
4.A 通读全文可知,第一段通过讲述钟表、手表和手机引出古代人是如何计时的疑问;第二、三段分别对不同时期计时的方法以及日晷、水表、机械表等做了简单介绍;第四段总结全文,阐述了虽然计时法有很大的改进,但是人们不守时的坏习惯依然没变。由此可推知,全文采用了“总分总”的结构。故选A。命题点:篇章结构
5.B 通读全文可知,本文主要阐述了计时工具的发展史。故选B。命题点:主旨大意

主旨大意/标题归纳
解答主旨大意题的关键在于寻找主题句。认真阅读文章的首尾段或每段的首尾句,主题句一般在段首或段尾。无明显主题句时找高频信息词,即文中反复出现的紧扣主题的中心词。记叙文通常没有主题句,需要根据文章所述内容进行归纳,最后概括出来的中心意思一定要涵盖全文或整个段落,切忌以偏概全或离题太远、太笼统。
主旨大意题的解题方法同样适用于标题归纳题,只不过标题更为短小精悍,提炼性更强。

It
might
be
fun
to
use
your
smartphone,but
be
careful.Too
much
screen
time
may
be
harmful
to
your
health.
First,it
is
bad
for
your
eyes.A
researcher
called
Sarah
Hinkley
says
the
problem
comes
from
the
blue
light
that
the
screen
gives
out.Looking
at
a
smartphone
for
a
long
time
can
cause
eye
strain(劳损),headaches
and
dry
eyes.So
it
is
a
good
idea
to
take
a
break
every
15
minutes
when
you
are
working
at
a
computer
or
using
a
smartphone.
Second,screen
use
can
do
harm
to
children's
brains.A
new
study
shows
that
using
screens
too
much
can
affect(影响)
how
children's

grow.If
children
use
screens
for
more
than
one

a

lower
levels
of
white
matter
in
their

matter
is
a
key
to
the

of
language
and
reading
skills.So
it
is
wise
to
cut
down
the
time
of
children
using
all
kinds
of
screens.
Third,using
screens
too
much
will
affect
your

to
a
study,about
95%
of
the
people

the
ages
of

use
electronics

may
make
you

it's

you
to
get
enough
sleep.So
you'd
better
turn
off

all

To
keep

strongly
advise

篇章结构
此类试题目前多见于说明文和议论文,通常按段落的组织方式或者写作方法(论证方法)来考查学生对文章结构的理解。阅读篇章一般是“总分总”结构,而各选项的不同之处在于,支撑中心论点的要点及次要点的个数及其逻辑关系。因此,概括全文的主旨及各个段落的内容要点,分析它们相互之间的逻辑关系是解题的关键。

(一)(2020?杭州D篇)
How
would
you
feel
if
someone
decided
to
take
away
your
park?Well,that's
what's
happening
in
my
community.There's
a
park
that
some
people
want
to
turn
into
a
golf
course(高尔夫球场).Let
me
tell
you
why
I
think
it's
a
bad
idea.
First,a
park
is
meant
to
be
for
the
whole
community.Not
everyone
likes
golf,so
not
everyone
will
get
to
use
the
park.This
isn't
fair.A
community
park
should
have
open
spaces
for
everyone
to
use.
Second,to
make
way
for
the
golf
course,lots
of
playground
equipment(设施)
will
have
to
be
moved
or
knocked
down,which
is
a
waste
of
time
and
money.It's
also
a
waste
of
perfectly
good
equipment.The
swings,for
example,will
probably
just
end
up
as
litter.
Third,what
about
giving
young
people
something
to
do?
Not
all
kids
are
crazy
about
golf.At
the
moment,the
park
has
a
skating
place
and
a
playground.These
attract
lots
of
kids
from
the
community.If
you
turn
the
park
into
a
golf
course,these
kids
won't
have
anywhere
to
go
and
they
won't
have
anything
to
do.This
means
that
they
will
stay
at
home
and
turn
on
a
video
game
rather
than
get
some
exercise.It
also
means
that
they
might
be
out
on
the
street
causing
trouble.Wouldn't
it
be
better
to
give
them
something
to
do
at
the
park?
Finally,golf
is
expensive.Building
a
golf
course
and
maintaining(维护)
it
costs
a
lot
of
money.Who
is
going
to
pay
to
maintain
the
golf
course?
What
about
those
people
who
can't
afford
to
join
a
golf
club?
That
means
that
the
golf
course
will
only
be
available
to
people
with
lots
of
money.
Turning
our
park
into
a
golf
course
is
a
bad
idea.I
suggest
we
have
a
community
meeting
before
plans
go
any
further.

“Humans

certain
abilities

aren't

by
practicing
animals'
movements,”
the
traditional
Chinese
Wushu
lovers
believed
in
the
past—and
still
do
today.
Chinese
Five-Animal
Exercises,also
known
as
Wuqinxi,are
the
first
complete
set
of
qigong
exercises
following
the
movements
of
animals:monkeys,deer(鹿),birds,bears
and
tigers.They
were
created
by
one
of
the
greatest
doctors
in
Chinese
history,Hua
Tuo,more
than
1,800
years
ago.
The
Five-Animal
Exercises
are
well-designed
to
help
blood
circulation(循环),and
let
the
energy
go
smoothly
in
the
body
so
as
to
improve
the
health.
“The
bear
movements
are
good
for
the
sto?mach.The
tiger
movements
can
reduce
the
pain
in
the
back.The
deer
movements
help
reduce
the
fat
around
the
waist(腰).The
bird
movements
can
help
keep
our
knees
healthy
and
the
monkey
movements
can
be
good
for
the
heart,”
said
Hua
Yi,the
59th

of
Wuqinxi.
For
those
new
learners,the
first
few
exercises
might
not
go
well.You
may
find
it
hard
to
focus(集中注意力).Wear
comfortable
clothes,keep
peaceful
in
your
mind,try
to
move
slowly
...Little
by
little,you'll
feel
more
and
more
harmonious
with
nature.You
may
even
feel
you
become
a
tiger
or
a
deer,walking
in
the
forest
freely.
These
exercises
need
no
tools
and
they
are
easy
to
learn.You
can
search
online
for
the
videos
and
practice
them
at
any
time
when
you
feel
like
relaxing
your
body
and
mind.Because
it's
fun
to
practice
and
good
for
health,Five-Animal
Exercises
are
becoming
more
and
more
popular
in
recent
years,not
only
in
China,but
also
in
many
other
places
of
the
world.
