第四部分
写作(满分40分)
(一)应用文(满分15分)
Dear
Jimmy,
I’m
writing
in
the
hope
that
you
will
be
kind
enough
to
do
me
a
favor.
To
help
us
students
gain
deep
insights
into
animal
protection,
the
Student
Union
intends
to
organize
an
Animal
Protection
Week.
We
are
now
in
urgent
need
of
some
relevant
English
magazines
that
can
reflect
animal
protection.
All
the
costs
concerned
will
be
covered.
Moreover,
we’d
appreciate
it
if
you
could
see
to
it
that
the
magazines
are
suitable
for
us
Chinese
middle
school
students.
Looking
forward
to
your
earliest
reply.
Best
wishes.
Yours
Li
Hua
(二)读后续写(满分25分)
One
possible
version:
Henry
tried
to
talk
to
the
injured
man
to
keep
him
awake.
Henry
understood
the
seriousness
of
the
situation
and
stayed
with
the
man
until
an
ambulance
came.
Only
when
the
man
was
safely
on
his
way
to
the
hospital
did
it
occur
to
Henry
that
the
accident
was
newsworthy.
Maybe
this
was
the
story
that
could
make
him
a
real
reporter!
He
raced
home
and
typed
up
an
account
of
the
accident.
Then
he
pedaled
as
fast
as
he
could
back
to
the
Chronicle
office.
Editor
Walsh
ran
through
the
story.
He
began
to
realize
that
Henry
had
the
right
stuff
to
become
a
reporter.
In
the
years
that
followed,
Henry
learned
to
be
a
great
reporter.
Later,
he
became
one
of
the
most
respected
newspaper
editors.
No
matter
how
famous
he
became,
though,
he
always
loved
to
tell
about
the
day
he
got
his
big
break.
His
story
still
inspires
me
whenever
I
think
about
what
kind
of
job
I
might
love.

(Text

M:
Do
you
eat
lots
of
vegetables
in
your
country?
W:
Yes,
we
do.
The
most
popular
vegetables
are
carrots
and
peas,
since
those
grow
locally.
But
some
vegetables,
such
as
onions,
are
quite
expensive
in
my
country.
(Text
2)
M:
What
are
your
business
hours,
please?
W:
Our
center
opens
at
10:30
am
and
closes
at
6:00
pm
during
the
week.
On
Saturday
we
close
one
hour
earlier,
and
on
Sunday
we
are
closed
two
hours
earlier.
(Text
3)
W:
Susan
looks
upset.
Maybe
she
didn’t
do
well
in
the
test.
The
teacher
got
disappointed
at
her
because
she
didn’t
do
any
preparation.
How
about
you?
M:
I
couldn’t
feel
better
about
it.
All
the
questions
were
well
within
my
expectation.
(Text
4)
M:
It’s
Thursday.
You
know
what
that
means

The
Answer
Game.
W:
Yes.
I
always
know
where
I’ll
be
at
eight
on
Thursday

in
front
of
the
TV,
watching
The
Answer
Game.
M:
Those
questions
they
asked
last
week
were
really
hard,
weren’t
they?
(Text
5)
W:
I’m
bored
of
staying
in
and
playing
computer
games
all
the
time!
Let’s
go
to
the
cinema.
Dexter
is
on.
M:
I’ve
already
seen
it.
What
about
going
to
see
Jude’s
band?
They’re
playing
at
the
sports
club.
W:
Sounds
like
it’s
worth
trying.
(Text
6)
W:
I
really
appreciate
you
getting
up
early
to
drive
me
to
work.
M:
It’s
OK.
But
you
owe
me
one.
W:
My
car
is
in
the
repair
shop.
I’m
still
not
sure
what’s
wrong
with
it.
M:
Hopefully
it’ll
be
easy
to
fix.
Wait
a
minute.
How
are
you
getting
back
home?
Take
the
bus?
W:
There’s
no
direct
bus
to
get
home.
M:
Then
take
a
taxi.
W:
Come
on.
It’s
only
for
a
few
days.
It
won’t
take
you
lots
of
time
to
do
a
few
pickups
and
drop-offs.
(Text
7)
W:
Excuse
me,
but
is
this
dress
on
sale?
M:
Sorry,
the
dress
was
on
sale
yesterday.
W:
Are
you
sure?
I’d
be
happy
to
pay
the
sale
price
today.
M:
I’m
so
sorry,
but
rules
are
rules.
Perhaps
you
can
think
about
other
items
on
sale.
W:
I’m
glad
these
batteries
are
on
sale.
M:
I’m
sorry.
These
batteries
are
not
on
sale.
W:
But
that’s
what
the
ad
says.
M:
I’m
sorry.
If
you
look
at
the
ad
again,
you’ll
see
that
the
other
brand
is
on
sale.
W:
You’re
right.
I
misread
the
ad.
(Text
8)
W:
Hi,
Marcus!
Did
you
have
fun
in
Mexico?
M:
Yes!
I
went
fishing
there.
Dad’s
a
pilot
so
we
can
travel
all
over
the
world
with
him.
W:
Wow!
Where
else
have
you
been?
M:
Well,
we
went
to
Italy
because
we
wanted
to
go
skiing
but
there
wasn’t
enough
snow.
We
went
for
long
bike
rides
while
we
were
there
instead.
W:
And
you
went
to
Sweden
too,
didn’t
you?
M:
That’s
right.
We
stayed
on
a
small
island
in
a
tent.
It
was
brilliant.
Mum
hated
the
insects!
W:
What
has
been
your
most
exciting
holiday?
M:
When
we
went
to
India,
I
think.
We
travelled
north
and
did
some
climbing
in
the
mountains
there.
W:
I’d
like
to
do
that
one
day.
And
you
showed
me
some
photos
of
you
and
your
sister
in
Japan
...
M:
Yes,
we
did
an
art
course
there.
They
showed
us
how
to
draw
all
sorts
of
things.
(Text

M:
Hi
Liz,
it’s
Ken
here.
Do
you
know
any
holiday
rentals
in
your
area?
W:
I
can
think
of
three
places
that
are
very
nice.
First,
there’s
a
place
called
Moonfleet
...
It’s
an
apartment
with
two
bedrooms.
It’s
got
fields
all
around
it,
but
it’s
quite
a
distance
from
the
nearest
shops.
M:
OK.
Do
you
know
how
to
book
it?
W:
You
have
to
book
on
the
Internet.
The
web
address
is
www.
.
M:
And
what
about
the
others?
W:
The
second
one
is
called
Kingfisher.
It’s
by
the
river,
and
it’s
a
three-bedroomed
house
with
a
separate
kitchen.
But
it’s
more
expensive.
You
have
to
phone
the
owner
directly.
M:
Right.
And
you
mentioned
a
third
place?
W:
Yes,
there’s
a
house
that
my
sister
stayed
in
last
year

it’s
called
Sunnybanks.
It’s
in
the
centre
of
a
village,
but
it’s
a
small
and
quiet
place.
It’s
a
two-bedroomed
house
with
its
own
garden.
The
only
problem
is
that
there’s
nowhere
for
parking.
M:
I
don’t
think
it
matters.
How
can
I
book
it?
W:
I
have
to
ask
my
sister
the
email
address
and
let
you
know
tomorrow.
M:
Thanks
for
your
help.

A
language
I
would
like
to
learn
is
Spanish.
It’s
used
not
only
in
Spain
but
also
in
many
other
countries.
It’s
a
language
that
is
worth
knowing.
Professionally
speaking,
it
would
be
useful
to
me.
Also,
Spanish
culture
is
becoming
more
and
more
popular
internationally.
For
example,
the
US
has
the
second
largest
Spanish-speaking
population
in
the
world
after
Mexico.
The
language
is
influencing
music
and
art.
I
doubt
it
would
be
too
challenging
for
me
to
learn
Spanish
because
it
is
a
Latin
language,
just
like
my
mother
tongue,
French.
I
think
Spanish
vocabulary
would
be
easier
for
me
to
learn
than
Spanish
grammar.
I
understand
the
grammar
is
one
of
the
most
difficult
things
about
the
Spanish
language.
I
would
use
Spanish
primarily
when
going
on
holiday.
I’ve
been
to
Spain
many
times,
and
I
always
find
that
if
I
go
off
the
beaten
track,
it’s
difficult
to
find
people
who
speak
English.
Speaking
Spanish
would
undoubtedly
make
my
holidays
a
lot
easier
and
more
enjoyable.
