of

their

songs
and
movies.

one

humans
seek
familiarity,

them
feel

other
hand,
people
love

thrill
of
something
new.
This
change
between
familiarity
and
discovery
affects
us
all
the
time—not
just
our
preferences
for
pictures

songs,
but
also
our
preferences
for
ideas
and
even

reason,

power
of
familiarity
seems
to
be
strongest

person

expecting
