Suddenly
a
little
rabbit
jumped
out
in
front
of
my
horse.
It
got
such
a
fright
that
it
turned
sharply
towards
a
small
path
and
ran
crazily
along
it.
Not
realizing
what
had
happened,
my
poor
dad
just
lashed
his
horse
to
try
to
keep
pace
with
us.
Try
as
I
might,
I
simply
lost
control
of
my
horse.
It
ran
engetically
through
woods
and
bushes
until
we
reached
a
small
river.
We
had
no
indea
where
we
were
and
it
got
dark.
“
We
get
lost,
but
luckily
we're
safe!
”
said
my
father
calmly
.
“
What?
How
should
we
do
then?”
I
asked
anxiously.
“Don't
worry,
my
boy.
Let's
feed
the
horses
first.
Your
uncle
will
soon
find
us.”
answered
my
father
with
a
smile.
I
saw
confidence
in
the
smile.
“
Ok,
let's
just
wait
here”
I
recovered
my
composure.
Before
long,
a
man
on
a
horse
back
appeared
vaguely
on
the
grassland
in
a
distance,
as
he
came
nearer
and
nearer,
we
recognized
him
as
Uncle
Bob.
“Hello,
guys,
you're
late
for
supper,
it's
obvious
that
you
didn't
bear
my
words
in
mind,
your
naughty
boys.”
with
these
words,
we
all
burst
into
laughter.

The
next
day
we
remembered
the
brand-new
tent
we
had
brought
with
us.
We
decided
to
camp
again.
Fortunately,
there
happened
to
be
a
river
nearby
and
the
scenery
along
it
was
just
splendid.
Pulling
over
beside
the
river,
we
couldn’t
wait
to
put
up
the
tent.
But
to
our
great
disappointment,
there
was
no
tent
at
all.
“
Oh,
God,
I’ve
left
it
in
the
hotel！”
screamed
Mom
apologetically.
We
had
no
choice
but
to
drive
back
to
the
hotel
to
fetch
our
tent.
As
we
returned
to
the
river
,we
immediately
set
about
putting
up
the
tent
in
case
it
would
get
dark.
Our
enthusiasm
wasn’t
actually
spoiled
by
the
small
accident.
Instead,
We
spent
a
wonderful
night
there.
We
sang
songs,
danced
by
the
campfire,
lay
side
by
side
counting
the
stars
and
not
without
playing
jokes
on
Mom
.
We
drove
through
several
states
and
saw
lots
of
great
sights
along
the
way.
Despite
a
few
small
accidents
and
surprises
due
to
my
forgetful
and
absent-minded
Mom,
our
trip
was
terrific
as
a
whole.
Every
coin
has
two
sides,
if
without
Mom,
my
family
life
would
be
as
plain
as
water.
Careless
as
she
is
,
she
is
indispensable
for
all
of
us.

more
helicopters
came
and
it
was
getting
dark
again.
“
There
won’t
be
any
helicopters
today.”
Jane
said
to
herself
disappointedly
,
“Can
I
finally
survive
this?”

With

shelter
for

night.
Luckily,
she
found
one
and

terror
of
death
haunted
her
for
the

night.

was
daybreak
when
Jane
woke
up.

hungry

up

and

cave,
hoping
to
find
something
to
fill
her
stomach.
Just
then,
to
her

joy,
a
helicopter
appeared
overhead.
But
she
had
no
sooner
taken
off
her
yellow
blouse
than
the
plane
flew
away.
Frustrated
as
she
was,
she
didn’t
give
up,
but
climbed
to
a
higher
place
to
wait
for
the
next
one.
“
How
much
better
it
could
have
been
had
we
not
been
so
argumentative?”
Jane
said
regretfully.
A
few
minutes
later,
as
expected,
another
helicopter
appeared
in
the
sky.
Jane
kept
waving
her
blouse
to
attract
the
attention
of
the
people
in
it.
This
time
he
made
it
,as
the
helicopter
was
getting
nearer
and
nearer
and
finally
landed
on
an
open
ground
nearby.
Two
men
got
off
it
and
made
their
way
towards
where
Jane
was.
As
they
got
closer,
Jane
recognized
one
of
them
as
her
husband.
Failing
to
hold
her
excitement,
Jane
threw
herself
into
the
arms
of
her
husband
with
tears
streaming
down
her
face.

Elli

i
looked
at
each
other
and
smiled
in
relief
almost
simultaneously.
Undoubtedly,
the
spray
will
help
prolong
our
safe
time.
Hardly
had
we
had
time
to
calm

down

bear

the
fence
again.
Driven
by
anger,

a
year

us.
We
waited
anxiously
for
the
helicopter.
Just
as
the
wooden
posts
were
on
the
edge
of
breaking,
we
heard
noises
overhead.
Looking
up
into
the
sky
,
we
spotted
the
helicopter.
We
both
screamed
with
excitement.
We
were
finally
saved
but
it
was
really
a
narrow
escape.
As
we
had
no
sooner
stepped
onto
the
stairs
than
the
wooden
posts
were
broken
apart
and
the
bear
rocketed
towards
the
bread.

Mom,
I
don’t
want

out
there!”
“
What’s
up?/
what’s
the
matter?”
asked
her
mother
in
surprise.
With
a
little
hesitation,
Jennifer
exposed
her
little
secret
to

fact
is,
the
mother
leaned
over
her
daughter
and
kissed
her
damp
forehead
with
her
heart
on
her
lips.
Then
she
smiled
gently
and

Take

honey.

new
classmates’
negligence
of

lately.
Why

the

to

added
her
in

encouraging
tone!
Jennifer
put
a
handful
of
cookies
onto
a
small
plate
and
left
the
kitchen.

know
today
is
Mother’s
Day
when
the
whole
world
should
show
their
respect
and
love
for
mothers
only.
If
the
same
respect
and
love
were
given
to
others,
then
the
celebration
would
lose
its
meaning.
‘

I

returned
Jo
calmly,
trying
to
hide

disappointment.
Feeling

depressed,
Jerry
came
over
to
us

by

flowers

head

After
we

back
home,
Jerry
went

courtyard
of

department
building.
Before
long,
he

before
me
,

busy
preparing
dinner
then,
with
his
hands
behind
his
back
and
a
mysterious
smile
on
his
face.
Just
as
i
was
wondering
what
was
happening,
a
bunch
of
colorful
flowers
were
suddenly
presented
before
my
eyes
followed
by
a
sweetest
kiss:
“
Happy
Mother’s
Day,
I
can’t
tell
why,
but
in
my
heart
live
two
mums
,
you’re
one
of
them.
‘
Hearing
these
words,
tears
welled
up
in
my
eyes.
Leaning
low
over
this
dearest
angel,
I
kissed
his
damp
forehead
with
my
heart
on
my
lips./
I
swung
my
arms
around
him
and
kissed
him
on
his
forehead.
