Unit Six At the Zoo A Let’s learn Let’s do
教学目标:
能听说、认读big, small ,long, short四个形容词,并能在适当的情景中运用。
能听懂Make yourself tall….的指令,并能按照指令作出相应的动作。
教学重点
1. 听、说、认读几个形容词 small, big, long, short。
  2. 听懂含有形容词的几个指令,并按指令做动作。
教学难点
单词small 中[ l ] 的发音,舌头要上卷。
单词long, short的正确发音。
能灵活运用It’s big/small/long/short.
教学步骤:
Step 1 Preparation
Warm up
Sing a song
“Hide and Seek” Sing and do together (Unit 5 Let’s sing)
Free talk
T: Hello! / Hi!
Good morning!
How are you
Nice to meet you!
How old are you
Goodbye!
Teacher with all student ask and answer, then, teacher with one student, student with student ask and answer .Check some pairs.
Review
游戏:猜动物。
T: Listen to me, children. Guess what it is.
    It has a long nose. It has two big ears and a short tail. It’s gray. 教师在说谜语时,可适当配合一些手势或动作。
   S: It is an elephant.
猜测若干个,猜对的学生给予奖励。
Step 2 Presentation
1.展示图片:An elephant and a mouse. 对比大象和老鼠。
T: What are they
Ss: They are……
T: Yes! They are an elephant and a mouse. Oh, Look! The elephant is very big. But the mouse is very small. 教师强调big 和 small。
教师出示词卡big和small ,并领读
Read together and one by one.
教师把词卡贴在黑板上。
2.展示图片:A monkey and a rabbit.
T: What are they
Ss: They are……
T: Yes, they are a monkey and a rabbit. Oh, look! The monkey has a long tail, but the rabbit has a short tail. 教师强调long和short.
教师出示词卡long和short, 并领读.
Read together and one by one.
教师把词卡贴在黑板上。
3.教授Make yourself……
T: Let’s play a game ,ok
Ss: Ok!
T: Now ,look at me, tall, tall, tall make myself tall.(T say and do the action)
Big, big, big, make my eyes big. long, long, long, make my arms long.
short, short, short, make myself short. small, small, small, make myself small. short, short, short, make myself short.
学生熟悉之后,再换成make yourself…,make your……
T: Now, I say you do , ok
Ss: Ok!
T: Tall, tall, tall, make yourself tall.
Big, big, big, make yourself
Long, long, long, make your arms long.
Short, short, short, make yourself short.
Small, small, small, make your eyes small.
Short, short, short, make your arms shorts.
Ss do together and say.
Step 3 Practice
1.Open your book on page 61 , listen to the tape
a .listen and point
b. listen ,point and repeat
2. Read by yourself
a. Read together
b. Read by two part (一部分学生读升调,一部分读降调)
3.Game:make friends(找朋友)
T:My friends are missing, who can help me
(拿出写有汉字的词卡,让学生把正确的汉语意思贴到英语单词的旁边)
贴正确的同学,老师给予奖励。
Step 4 Production
1.Game:耳语。
把学生分为5—6组,教师向每组的第一名学生耳语一个指令,如:Tall, tall, tall! Make yourself tall. 这名学生依次向组里的第二名学生耳语这个指令。以此类推,直至最后一个学生。最后这名学生快步跑道讲台根据指令做动作,谁又快又正确就为他们组赢一分。然后,每组的第一名学生站到队尾。
2.Game: Do you know
让学生说说有关动物类的单词,如:panda, kangaroo, duck, cat, dog, giraffe, elephant, monkey, mouse, rabbit, tiger 。随后,让学生分小组将自己准备好的动物玩具拿出,形容动物。如:The giraffe is very tall. The elephant has a long nose. 还可以告诉学生,颜色词也是在形容事物,鼓励学生将一种事物的样子和颜色都说说,如:The panda has two black eyes.
