Unit 6 At the zoo A Let’s talk Let’s practise 第二课时
一、教学目标
1．知识目标：在学习big, small. long, short几个形容词的基础上，学习新句型：It has … and ….和Oh, it’s so funny.
2．技能目标：能够熟练运用单词和新句型描述喜欢的动物并能够在实际情景中运用。
3．情感目标：让学生进一步感受到学习英语的乐趣，积极参与交际活动，培养他们乐于与他人合作交流的习惯。
二、教学重点和难点
重点：在情景中运用small, big, long, short, tall几个形容词和句型It has … and …/ Oh, it’s so funny.
难点：让学生在习中得以掌握have 和 has 的区别并能运用。
三．教学步骤
Step 1 Preparation
Warm up
Sing a song “Hide and Seek” Sing and do together (Unit 5 Let’s sing)
Free talk
T: Hello! / Hi!
Good morning!
How are you
Nice to meet you!
How old are you
Goodbye!
Teacher with all student ask and answer, then, teacher with one student, student with student ask and answer .Check some pairs.
Review
教师播放第一册Unit 4 B Let’s chant 的录音带。将cat, pig, monkey, mouse 的图片贴在黑板上。学生边指图边跟录音复习歌谣，还可以做出相应的动作。
Step 2 Presentation
1、教学单词big，small以及so 的用法。
学生读完Unit 4 B Let’s chant 的歌谣后， 教师从黑板上取下pig 的图片，对学生说：Look at the pig. It’s so big. 强调so 的语调，并加以“大”的手势。接着，教师拿下mouse 的图片，对学生说：Look at the mouse. It’s small. It’s so … 示意学生说出：It’s so small. 同样，教师做出“小”的手势。让学生体会 so 在句子中的意思是：“强调某种程度”。
2、教师出示单词卡片或实物对比的方法，再次认读并复习表示大小、长短的单词big, long, short, small, tall。
3.教授It has …..的用法。
教师拿出一个玩具（熊猫）指着它的五官，复习eyes, nose, ears, month,并指导学生说：The panda has big eyes .It has short tail. It has small ears,
It has…… （鼓励学生自由说）让学生熟悉It has …..的用法。
然后拿出玩具小象，让学生形容一下小象的样子，用句型It has…..
Step 3 Practice
Open your book on page 60 ,listen to the tape
a .listen and point
b. listen ,point and repeat
2. Read by yourself
a. Read together
b. Read by two part
c. Work in pairs(check some pairs)
3. Game : guess(use picture about animals)
T: I have a animal, It has long nose and small eyes , do you know what is it
Ss guess.（学生猜对的得到图片作为奖励）
教师说两三个作为例子，然后让学生自己说进行此游戏。
Step 4 Production
make a new dialogue
eg: A: Look at the monkey !
B: Wow, It’s so funny
A: Look,It has a long tail and a short leg.
B: It has small eyes and big mouth.
T and Ss ask and answer like this, then, make Ss work in pairs like this.
2. T: Boys and girls, look at me, please!（教师带个小狗的面具）
I have big eyes and small ears
Now, you with your partners say together ,ok
