第四课时 B Let’s learn Let’s sing
教学目标:
1、掌握有关动物的生词:deer, giraffe, tall, short, 运用形容词tall, short来描述人物或动物, 并能在实际情境中恰当应用。
2、会唱歌曲“They are in the zoo”.
3、能理解或讲述故事。
教学重点:
Giraffe, deer, tall, short 4个单词的听说认读和在实际情况中正确使用。
教学难点:
Story time 部分。
课前准备:
教师准备录音机,磁带。
教师准备giraffe, deer, tall, big, small等单词卡片。
教学过程:
Step 1 Preparation
Let’s do (p61) :Tall, tall, tall, make yourself tall !
学生边跟录音说边做动作。

Act like a cat……

Where is your mouth?Here it is.
4. Free talk
T:Good morning !How are you?Nice to meet you!
Ss: Good morning !I’m fine, thank you .Nice to meet you , too!
T:(教师拿出elephant图片)Look at the elephant !
Ss:It has a long nose and a short tail.
T : And it has……
Ss:It has small eyes and big ears.
学生利用自己手中的动物卡片进行对话练习。

Step 2 Presentation
1、T:Look!I have a friend. Who is it (教师出示giraffe的图片)
Ss:长颈鹿。
T:Yes,it’s a giraffe.(教师边说边把图片贴在黑板上)
教师教读,并注意单词的发音---学生跟读------学生分组读-------逐个检查
教师用相同的方法教学单词deer.
T:(教师将这两张图片藏起来)Well,boys and girls,where is the giraffe?
Ss:(由教师引导)Here it is !
T:Yeah, you are right!(学生答对了,教师及时进行赞扬,并奖励动物小图片)
学生之间用图片以对话的形式操练生词:

4、T(教师比较图中的giraffe和deer,并用手势):You see,the giraffe is tall. The deer is short.
5、教师将单词卡tall和short贴在黑板上。教师教读,并注意单词的发音---学生跟读------学生分组读-------逐个检查
6、Listen to the tape of Let’s learn
(1)Ss listen and point.
(2) Ss listen 、point and repeat.
(3)Ss read after teacher.
(4)Ss read together.
7、Ss read aloud in groups, they can read or help with each other.
Step 3 Practice
看口型,猜单词。教师不发音,只做单词口型,让学生来猜单词。小组进行竞赛,看哪一组说得最多,并给予评价,如smart、excellent、super!
T:Well,everybody. Let’s play a game. You can look at my mouth,then guess the word. OK
Ss:OK!
2、猜哪一个单词失踪了:What’s missing?
教师将单词卡片全部展示给学生,学生齐读,教师将其中一张卡片藏起来,让学生来猜是哪一个单词。
T:Look!Can you read them?
Ss:Yes!
T:What’s missing?
Ss:(学生举手猜测)Deer / Giraffe/ Tall /Short……
T:Maybe!(教师揭晓答案,并对猜对的学生进行奖励。)
Step 4 Production
学生利用手中的动物卡片进行对话练习,教师可找程度好的学生进行示范:
T:Well,look at my picture. I have a cat.
S1:I have a dog.
T: The cat is big / tall.
S1:The dog is small / short.

2、Listen to the tape of Let’s Sing “They are in the zoo”.
T:Look!There are so many animals. They are in the zoo.
Ss listen for 2 times.
Ss listen and sing.
Ss sing together.
3、教师出示zoo的图片。
T:Look!This is a zoo. Do you like it?
Ss:Yes!
T:Do you know what is this?
Ss:斑马。
T:It’s a zebra. 教师教读,并注意单词的发音---学生跟读------学生分组读-------逐个检查
Is this a zebra (教师指着马的图片)
Ss:No!
T:great!It’s a horse.
T:Can you find the difference?(你能找到他们的不同点吗?)
The horse is big. The zebra is small.
The black and white one is a zebra.
The brown one is a horse.
T:OK,how many animals do you know?Aha, I know all animals. (教师教读--学生跟读)
教师出示zoom 和zip的头饰,并提出问题。学生听录音,了解故事内容。
T:Look!My friends are Zoom and Zip. Does Zoom and Zip know all the animals?
Open your books and turn to page 66,Story time. You can listen to the tape and answer my question.
鼓励学生进行角色表演。
Step 5 Progress
Sum up:学生读单词,学生可以尝试造句:The giraffe is tall. The deer is short.
做本课时的一课一练。
Homework:认读单词,并且练习拼读本课单词。
将新学的英语歌曲唱给家长听。
