教学总目标
小学英语冀教版第七册中描述了一个有关Jenny,Danny和Li Ming的故事。故事中讲到Li Ming来到加拿大学习英语,他和Jenny一家住在一起,并接触了加拿大的学校教育、民族风情及饮食文化。同时他也给Jenny一家讲述了中国文化。本册教材以学生为中心,以主要任务活动为主线,围绕最常用,最基本的英语词汇,句型,会话等展开教学内容。教学内容贴近学生的生活,有利于教学的开展。Jenny,Danny和Li Ming贯穿于整个教学中,同学生共同学习,共同成长,让他们在成长中感受到学习英语既容易又有趣。
一.知识与技能
本册书分四个单元,每单元八课,每单元最后一课是复习课。每单元都有重点和难点,还出现了较多供学生接触的词汇。这些额外词汇在一定程度上还能够引发学生的自然好奇心并指导其语言学习。
每单元最后一课是本单元的重点。依据《新课程标准》的理念,在教学中强调语言的实用性和交际性,让学生用语言,动作,表情完成信息交流,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
二.情感态度与价值观
在教学中注重对学生学习策略和文化意识的培养,因材施教,肯定学生的每一次小小的成功,不断给予他们肯定和鼓励,让他们真正感受到学习英语“It is fun,It is easy.”

Unit 1 Li Ming Comes to Canada
一、General goals for unit 1
Levels 7 and 8 in the learning English program tell a story . Li Ming comes to Canada to learn English . He stays with Jenny’s family and experiences Canadian schooling , food and culture .He also teaches Jenny’s family about Chinese culture .
In this unit , Li Ming arrives in Canada and learns , along with your students , vocabulary for common household objects , rooms and tasks .
