In the snow
Complete the rescue story
they started to climb the mountain. Soon, it started to snow. It got dark and they couldn’t find their way.
In the snow
Suddenly, they heard some noise. They woke up and shouted “Help! Help!” Soon, they saw Mrs Smith and her dog Jimmy.
What were they doing?
How was the weather then?
What happened to them?
Answer the questions and then describe the pictures with the key words.

Animal friends
Now many people like keeping pets, such as dogs and cats. But it is not easy to keep pets because people need to spend a lot of time and money taking care of them.
Animals are helpful to us in many ways. For example, with police dogs’ help, policemen can catch bad men more easily. Pets can make us happy. And the old and the sick won’t feel lonely if they stay with pets.
Animals are our friends. So we should be friendly to them and love them like our family members.
