Look at lesson 61. Listen to the tape and repeat the dialogue after it. Pay attention to the use of the subject pronouns she and he with is.
Step IV: Activities
1 Invite six children at a time to act the scene. One girl takes the part of Sue. The other girl takes the part of Sue’s friend Liz. The four boys take the part of Mr. May, Mr. Crisp, Tom and Sandy. The boy taking the part of Sandy will have to pretend to kick the ball. While the boys and girls are acting their parts, they should feel free to add words and phrases of their own if they wish to.
