教学目标 :
知识与能力：
复习情态动词can用于“询问和谈论能力”的目标语言，掌握情态动词can的基本用法，能够运用所学目标表达自己在某一方面所具有的才能。
过程与方法：
采用classifying,Role-playing的学习策略，利用课件来展开课堂教学，pairwork问答式的口语交际活动或小组活动，复习“询问和谈论能力”的目标语言并能灵活运用。
情感目标：
通过互相询问或谈论自己或对方在某一方面的能力，可以培养学生的一种群体意识。
教学重点：
学习并掌握词汇 drums,piano,trumpet,violin,or.
熟练运用情态动词can来询问和谈论自己的能力。
教学难点 :
听力的训练。
教学时间 ：
1课时
教具 ：
录音机、多媒体课件、单词卡片。
教学过程 :
Step 1 :Warming-up
Sing an English song 《How are you 》
（设计目的：用歌曲使学生放松心情，拉近师生之间的距离。）
Step 2 ：Leading-in
T : Do you like music ？
Ss ：Yes.
T : I like music .too. OK,let’s enjoy the music .Listen to the music carefully and guess what the sound of ？
Step 3 :Teaching and doing
1.播放乐曲，课件出示乐器的图片，教学新单词：violin,drums,trumpet,piano .For example :
T :（播放乐曲）Lisen! Do you know what the sound of
Ss ：I don’t know .
T ： Now,let me tell you. It’s the sound of piano.（课件出示钢琴图片。）Look,it’s a piano.piano,read after me ,please.Piano,piano.Play the piano, what does it mean
Ss :弹钢琴。
T：How clever ! Can you play the piano
S1 :No,I can’t.
S2 : Yes, I can.
T ：ⅹⅹⅹ can play the piano.ⅹⅹⅹcan’t play the piano. Read after me. He can play the piano.She can’t play the piano.教学新单词piano,violin,drums,trumpet.
（播放乐曲，然后出示乐器的图片，加深学生的印象。）
2.出示单词卡片，进行单词的语音教学。
3.引导学生讲乐器名词和图画一一配对，完成1a部分的教学任务。
Step 4：Pairwork
课件出示五种乐器的图片，让学生两人一组，运用 Can you play the ··· ？Yes, I can . /No, I can’t .句型进行结对活动。完成1b 教学任务。
Step 5 :Listening and repeating
T : I can play the piano ,but do you know what Bill can do What can Jennifer do
Ss :I don’t know.
T :Ok,now,listen to the tape ,and you will know.
1.播放2a部分的录音，引导学生一边听录音，一边圈出所听到的表示活动或乐器的词汇。完成2a部分的教学任务。
2.再播放2a部分的录音，引导学生根据所听到的内容填写表格，说出Bill,Jennifer和Victor能做和不能做的事情，完成2b部分的教学任务。
3.根据2b的表格 ，说句子。
Bill can ···he can’t ···
Jennifer can ···he can’t ···
Victor can ···he can’t ···
讲解or 的用法。
学生跟读听力材料，然后课件出示听力材料，给学生时间读，然后找学生朗读。
（设计目的：跟读听力材料，既练了听力，又练了口语。）
Step 6: Play a game
1.做游戏 what’s missing 复习本节所学新单词。
2.连线
（通过做游戏，连线,复习巩固本节所学知识点。）
Step 7 :Summary
1.小结本节所学内容。
2.Let’s chant！利用自编歌谣总结本课知识。
Step 8 :Homework
运用所学句型询问朋友他们会弹奏哪些乐器。自制表格并填写。
