Unit 1 We’re going to read stories. 是湘少版小学英语五年级下册的教学内容, 该教学设计应达到二级目标体系。本单元话题为planning(计划)。该单元学习用be going to结构谈论自己的计划或询问他人将要做什么,并让学生学会做一个有计划的人。本单元分三课时完成。

⒉ 学情分析
1、小学五年级的学生已有两年半的英语学习经历,学习兴趣比较浓厚,并有一定的语言基础。大部分的学生能根据教师简单指令做动作、做游戏、做事情。能做简单的角色表演。能唱简单的英文歌曲,说简单的英语歌谣。能在图片的帮助下听懂和读懂简单的小故事。能交流简单的个人信息,表达简单的感觉和情感。能模仿范例书写词句。在学习的过程中,大部分的学生还乐于模仿,乐于表达,渴望认同,得到赞许。并且对学习中所接触到的外国文化与习俗特别感兴趣。
2、学生在四年级已经学习了一些动词或动词短语,如climb, read, write, fly, swim, run, skip, play ping-pong, play basketball, play football;在五年级上册还学习了cook a meal, iron clothes, make the bed, clean the window, water plants等动词短语。
3、学生在本单元的第一次接触be going to 结构。be going to 是一种固定结构,后面要接动词原形,用来表示按计划或安排要发生的动作,有“准备”“打算”的意思。
4、学生有一定的语言基础,在教师和图片的帮助下,能进行阅读和讨论。

⑴通过一系列课堂活动,体会到英语阅读的乐趣,激发英语阅读的兴趣;
⑵通过对于计划的学习、谈论过程来培养学生做个有计划的人。
