乒乓球（ping-pong），又有人称“桌上网球”(table tennis)，19世纪后期创始于英国，从网球运动派生而来，现在是中国的“国球”。
篮球(basketball)，起源于美国。最初是开展于室内的游戏。因游戏使用的器材主要由篮(basket)和球(ball)所组成，故称篮球。
冰球(ice hockey) ，起源于加拿大。1855年加拿大流行一种冰上游戏，参加者追逐打击用圆木片制成的圆球,把球击进球门者得分，参加人数不限。这就是现代冰球运动的前身。
橄榄球(Rugby)，起源于英国，原名为拉格比（英语小镇的名字）足球。因为其球形很像橄榄，在中国被称为“橄榄球”。现今世界上有94个国家流行橄榄球运动。
“萝卜蹲”小组合作游戏规则
1. 每小组代表一种球；
2. 接受指令时，说本组球类2遍，之后用“We are playing…”发出指令；
3. 通过合作，达到反应快，指令齐的小组获胜。
4. 20秒小组商量对策时间。
