B
Several
years
ago,
KenKeegan
organized
a
gathering
in
Las
Vegas,
with
a
group
of
architects
involved,
who
were
asked
what
it
would
take
to
design
a
public
school
which
used
50
percent
less
energy,
cost
much
less
to
build
and
obviously
improved
students
learning.
“I
think
half
of
them
fell
off
their
chairs,”
Keegan
says.
Keegan
is
in
charge
of
the
management
school
facilities
for
Clark
County,
Nevada,
a
district
roughly
the
size
of
Massachusetts.
By
2028,
143,000
additional
students
will
enter
the
already
crowded
public-education
system.
Keegan
needs
73
new
schools
to
house
them.
Four
architecture
teams
have
nearly
finished
designing
primary
school
prototypes.
With
the
intention
of
constructing
their
schools
in
2019,
the
district
will
assess
how
well
the
schools
perform
before
allowing
the
winners
to
conduct
their
designs
in
50
to
70
new
buildings.
Green
schools
keep
emerging
all
over,
but
in
Clark
County,
which
stands
out
for
its
vastness,
such
aggressive
targets
are
difficult
because
design
requirements
like
more
natural
light
for
students
go
against
the
realities
of
a
desert
climate.
“One
of
the
biggest
obstacles
is
getting
the
right
site
orientation,”
Mark.
Mc,
a
director
at
SH
Architecture,
says.
His
team
recently
completed
a
high
school
in
Las
Vegas.
“You
have
the
same
building,
same
set
of
windows,
but
if
its
orientation
is
incorrect
and
it
faces
the
sun,
it
will
be
really
expensive
to
cool.”
Surprisingly,
the
man
responsible
for
one
of
the
most
progressive
green-design
competitions
has
doubts
about
ideas
of
eco-friendly
buildings.
“I
don’t
believe
in
the
new
green
religion,”
Keegan
says,
“Some
of
the
building
technologies
that
you
put
forward
are
impractical.
I’m
only
interested
in
those
that
work.”
But
he
doesn’t
mind
if
some
green
features
inspire
students.
He
says
he
hopes
to
set
up
green
energy
systems
that
allow
them
to
learn
about
the
process
of
harvesting
wind
and
solar
power.
“You
never
know
what’s
going
to
start
the
interest
of
a
child
to
study
math
and
science,”
he
says.
4.
What
can
be
inferred
from
the
architects’
reaction
in
Paragraph

A.
Half
of
them
lost
balance
in
excitement.
B.
Disbelief
was
obviously
seen.
C.
Most
of
them
expressed
little
interest.
D.
They
burst
into
cheers.
5.
Which
order
of
steps
should
be
followed
in
carrying
out
the
project?
A.
Assessment-Construction-Design.

Assessment-Design-Construction.
C.
Design-Construction-Assessment.
D.
Design-Assessment-Construction.
6.
What
is
the
biggest
challenge
Clark
County
faces
if
they
are
to
build
green
schools?
A.
The
large
size.

Limited
facilities.
C.
The
desert
climate.
D.
Poor
natural
resources.
7.
In
Keegan’s
opinion,
the
ideas
of
green
schools
are
.
A.
questionable

out
of

Chinese
Culture
Shown
to
the
World
with
Love
Li
Ziqi,
a
short
video
blogger
specializing
in
traditional
Chinese
cooking
and
handicrafts
has
gained
worldwide
popularity.
Li
has
about
20
million
followers
on
Sina
Weibo,
China's
equivalent
to
Twitter,plus
7
million
followers
on
overseas
social
media
networks.
Many
foreigners
say
they
have
got
to
know
traditional
Chinese
food
culture
via
her
channel.
It
is
the
spirit
of
craftsmanship(技艺)
behind
her
works
that
makes
Li's
video
clips
attractive.
She
strictly
follows
the
authentic
traditional
steps
and
procedures
in
making
traditional
Chinese
food
and
handicrafts
such
as
peach
flower
wine
and
silk,
and
goes
to
great
lengths
to
ensure
her
videos
are
accurate.
Sometimes
she
spends
several
months
producing
one
of
her
videos.
Li
has
been
inheriting(继承)
traditional
Chinese
culture
in
a
rather
creative
way.
A
closer
look
at
her
videos
will
show
that
they
are
never
with
any
"analysis"
that
makes
people
feel
bored.
They
just
show
the
audience
each
and
every
detail
of
traditional
Chinese
culture
so
that
the
latter
knows
how
Chinese
live
their
beautiful
and
elegant
lives.
It
is
that
universal
appeal
that
makes
her
works
so
attractive.
Thanks
to
Li's
efforts,
many
intangible
cultural
heritages
that
only
existed
in
memories
and
written
records
now
appear
before
our
eyes.
Via
her
short
videos,
Li
presents
the
image
of
a
beautiful
and
friendly
China.
With
the
growth
of
the
Chinese
economy,
people
overseas
are
showing
more
interest
in
traditional
Chinese
culture.
Li
has
shown
how
to
satisfy
that
interest
in
a
good
way,
namely
showing
the
best
parts
of
traditional
Chinese
culture
with
her
heart.
To
effectively
present
the
beauty
of
Chinese
culture
to
the
world,
we
need
more
Li
Zigi.
8.
What
can
we
learn
about
Li
Zigi's
video
clips?
A.
They
promote
the
sales
of
Chinese
food
and
handicrafts.
B.
They
attract
a
large
number
of
foreigners
to
visit
her
online
shop.
C.
They
aim
to
introduce
traditional
Chinese
food
culture
and
handicrafts
worldwide.
D.
They
are
based
on
her
family's
recipes
of
making
traditional
Chinese
food.
9.
What
could
be
inferred
from
Paragraph
3
and
Paragraph
4?
A.
Analysis
of
Chinese
culture
in
Li's
videos
makes
people
bored.
B.
Details
and
accuracy
play
significant
roles
in
the
success
of
Li's
videos.
C.
Li
makes
sure
all
of
her
video
clips
are
short
enough
to
be
downloaded.
D.
Cultural
heritages
usually
exist
in
memories
and
written
records.
10.

"intangible
in
Paragraph
4
mean?
A.
nonphysical

invaluable
D.

11.

C.
To

an
example

gain
worldwide
popularity
as
a
short
video
blogger.
D.
To
encourage
more
people
to
make
efforts
to
bring
Chinese
culture
to
the
world.
D
We
lead
very
busy
lives
and
we
too
easily
forget
how
hard
it
was
for
us
to
focus
on
homework
when
we
were
in
school.
Now
that
we
have
jobs
to
do,
food
to
buy
and
cook
and
other
errands(差事)
to
run,
even
I
sometimes
think
it
would
be
a
welcome
change
to
have
to
sit
down
and
quietly
read
and
write
with
no
distractions.
But,
in
case
you
don’t
remember
-
homework
is
pretty
much
every
child’s
least
favorite
thing
to
do.
In
the
age
of
Netflix,
Snapchat
and
wifi,
the
distractions
are
almost
endless.
It
can
sometimes
almost
be
too
hard
to
even
keep
up
with
all
the
new
tech
advances
our
kids
are
using,
so
how
can
we
make
sure
that
those
advances
take
a
back
seat
to
our
children’s
education?
Here
are
some
ideas.
There’s
no
point
in
stopping
the
reality
that
young
people
are
going
to
focus
on
their
phones
and
tablets
instead
of
other
things
at
times.
Your
best
way
is
to
accept,
actually
the
tech
sector
continues
to
be
the
most
profitable
and
fast-growing
industries
and
that’s
unlikely
to
change
fast.
There
are
ways
to
use
technology
to
help
your
kid
do
homework.
Ask
your
teacher
and
school
staff
what
apps
and
websites
they’re
using
to
teach
lessons
and
supplements(补充)
them
with
at-home
activities
as
well.
Even
though
technology
has
changed,
the
basics
haven’t.
If
you
want
to
read,
write
and
think
properly,
you
need
to
have
peace
and
quiet
and
the
ability
to
focus,
right?
Well,
your
kids
are
just
the
same.Try
and
find
a
space
in
your
home
to
enable
your
kids
to
do
work
away
from
televisions,
the
Internet
or
other
distractions.
Let
me
be
clear:
this
shouldn’t
be
a
prison.I
feel
like
I’m
my
most
productive
working
alone
in
an
office
or
at
a
busy
cafe
with
my
headphones
on.
Getting
lost
in
other
realities
helps
my
creativity
grow.
Placing
kids
in
isolation(独处)
can
often
have
a
harmful
effect
and
doesn’t
always
equal
being
more
productive.
I
feel
like
“getting
engaged(

)”
is
always
a
big
part
of
my
advice
for
parents
on
just
about
everything.
How
can
you
make
sure
your
children
are
being
successful
if
you
have
no
idea
what
they’re
doing?
How
can
you
be
sure
they’re
doing
it
right
if
you
don’t
know
what
is
the
correct
answer?
What
do
they
need?
You
should
be
in
touch
with
their
teachers,
have
a
sense
of
where
the
lessons
are
going,
what
kinds
of
tasks
are
being
given
and
what
success
looks
like
in
the
classroom.
Knowing
all
of
that
is
key
to
your
child’s
success,
especially
when
matched
with
some
encouraging
praise
and
helpful
tips
on
how
he
can
keep
going.
Thinking
about
how
your
child
is
best
motivated(激励)
by
other
things
and
using
those
methods
here
reasonably
isn’t
a
bad
idea.
And
if
by
chance
you’re
having
trouble
solving
that
Math
problems
or
understanding
a
sentence,
don’t
fear

you’re
not
alone.
Use
the
school
staff,
other
parents
or
friends
as
your
support.
Better
to
seek
help
than
do
nothing.
We
all
know
that
homework
isn’t
exactly
the
most
entertaining
way
anyone
spends
their
time.
And
sometimes
we
can’t
help
but
feel
that
since
we
left
school
we’re
done
with
homework
forever.
But
the
circle
of
life
plays
out
in
all
times
and
it’s
up
to
us
to
make
sure
that
we
pass
on
the
lessons
we’ve
picked
up
and
that
while
homework
might
seem
dull,
it’s
how
we
build
skills,
learn
real
lessons
and
get
on
the
road
to
greatness.
That
greatness
is
on
the
inside,
it’s
up
to
us
as
adults
to
enable
the
young
people
to
bring
it
out.
The
key
to
achieving
greatness
is
to
take
a
lifelong
learning.
12.
What
is
the
author’s
attitude
towards
new
tech?
A.
It
affects
parents’
everyday
life.
B.
It
should

reach.
C.
It
can
benefit
student’s
education.
D.
It
makes
homework
easier.
13.
Which
of
the
following
ideas
might
the
author
agree

Homework
should
be
made
entertaining.
B.
Parents
should
know
what
motivates
their
children
best.
C.
Students
should
do
their
homework
independently.
D.
School
staff
should
help
parents
on
new
tech.
14.
While
parents
engaged
in
their
children’s
homework,
they________.
A.
must
be
better
at
all
the
lessons
B.
needn’t
make
sure
that
their
children
are
being
successful
C.
can
teach
their
children
by
themselves
D.
should
know
as
much
as
possible
about
it
15.
What
can
be
inferred
from
the
last
paragraph?
A.
Children
should
achieve
greatness
on
their
own.
B
Parents
and
their
children
should
learn
from
each
other.
C.
Children
can
hardly
succeed
without
parents’
efforts.
D.
Parents
can
only
obtain
skills
by
helping
their
children.
第二节
(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项.选项中有两项为多余选项.
Here's
the
scenario(场景):
You've
got
an
article
to
write
on
an
interesting
topic.
You
have
more
than
enough
time
to
meet
your
deadline
and
an
editor
lined
up
to
perfect
your
words.
There's
one
big
problem,
though.
The
words
won't
come.
You've
got
writer's
block.
_____16_____
And
your
deadline,
which
seemed
generous
at
first,
is
starting
to
close
in
on
you.
Every
writer
has
been
there.
What
can
you
do
about
it?
_____17_____
Science
says
that's
when
writers
are
most
creative
and
least
likely
to
be
distracted.
But
when
you're
completely
stuck,
going
straight
into
writing
first
thing
in
the
morning
might
not
work.
Why
not
start
your
day
with
something
you're
excited
about?
It'll
be
more
fun
and
make
you
feel
productive.
Smoothly
as
the
morning
unfolds,
writer's
block
may
linger(逗留).
While
faced
with
it,
we
find
the
best
approach
is
to
break
your
task
up
into
chunks.
_____18_____
With
this
one
little
step,
you've
accomplished
something
and
you're
one
step
closer
to
meeting
that
deadline.
Then,
do
some
reading,
make
a
list
of
any
ideas
you
find
interesting,
and
use
your
list
to
create
a
rough
outline.
_____19_____
The
draft
may
still
need
some
polishing,
but
you're
most
of
the
wav
there
now!
Besides,
writing
is
more
than
putting
words
on
paper.
It's
also
about
thinking.
You
should
feel
free
to
walk
away
when
you
need
to
have
some
quality
“thinking
time”.
If
you
use
these
breaks
to
do
something
productive,
you
won't
think
of
it
as
time
wasted.
_____20_____
You'll
get
fresh
air
and
exercise—which
are
both
known
to
be
good
for
creativity—and
your
colleagues
will
thank
you.
A.
Take
a
walk
outside
with
a
pen
and
paper.
B.
You've
been
staring
at
a
blank
page
for
days.
C.
That
can
help
to
reduce
the
difficulty
of
writing.
D.
Here's
an
idea:
offer
a
coffee
run
for
your
colleagues.
E.
Start
with
something
small,
like
creating
a
new
folder.
F.
Writers
are
often
told
they
should
write
early
in
the
morning.
G.
Turn
it
into
sentences
and
paragraphs
and
you'll
have
a
draft.

47.

It
was
a
rainy
November
morning.
Overcome
with
anger
I
knew
if
I
didn’t
leave
the
house
soon
I
would
lose
my
temper
with
my
husband,
Joe.
As
rain
came
down
in
sheets,
Joe
offered
to
take
me
to
work.
I
struggled
into
my
jacket,
seized
my
bag
and
teaching
plans
and
ignored
him.
He
insisted
and
reached
for
his
boots.
I
looked
at
the
piles
of
newspapers
and
the
dirty
dishes
still
on
the
table.
“Don’t
you
have
enough
to
do?I
can
take
care
of
myself.”
I
stormed
out,
not
even
kissing
him
good-bye.
Joe
shouted
after
me
not
to
take
the
shortcut.
Joe
and
I
had
been
eagerly
looking
forward
to
our
retirement
when
heart
a
attack
that
past
spring
forced
him
to
leave
his
job
earlier
than
we
had
planned.
As
the
medical
bills
mounted
we
realized
I
would
have
to
continue
working
full-time
while
Joe
stayed
home
and
took
over
the
housework.
The
new
arrangement
was
a
disaster.
Exhausted
after
a
day
of
full
work,
all
I
wanted
was
hot
homecooked
meal
and
a
good
night’s
sleep.
However,
what
greeted
me
at
the
table
was
a
microwave
package.
Sometimes
he
would
serve
oatmeal
for
several
nights
in
a
row.
One
night
when
I
dragged
myself
to
bed,
I
was
terrified
to
discover
Joe
had
turned
our
white
sheets
blue:
He
told
me
he
had
found
out
how
to
save
on
water,
soap
and
electricity.
He
patted
his
blue
trousers
and
announced
proudly
washing
everything
together
was
just
the
secret.
Ten
minutes
later,
ignoring
Joe’s
warning
I
turned
off
the
main
route.
I
thought
it
hadn’t
rained
enough
to
flood
the
road,
but
as
I
rounded
the
corner
water
rushed
across
my
path.
After
a
few
feet,
the
car
got
stuck.
I
opened
the
door
and
water
poured
in.
I
hurriedly
closed
the
door.
I
couldn’t
risk
walking
in
this.
Almost
20
minutes
passed.
The
car
began
to
shake.
I
got
frightened
to
death
when
I
heard
three
long
honks.

the
competition
is
free
and
open
for
children
from
Kindergarten
to
Year
9
studying
in
an
Austrian
school.”(从幼儿园到9年级在奥地利学校学习的孩子都可以免费参加比赛。)可知,这个比赛孩子是免费参加的。故选B项。
【2题详解】
细节理解题。根据How
to
enter
下的第四个黑点“Entries
must
be
submitted(提交)through
the
online
competition
form
located
at
www..au.”(参赛作品必须通过位于www..au的在线竞赛表格提交。)可知,如果一个五年级的学生想参加比赛,他必须在互联网上提交他或她的故事参加比赛。故选C项。
【3题详解】
细节理解题。根据黑体字Second

$100”(哈珀柯林斯的书包——价值100美元)可知二等奖是一个价值100美元的书包。故选C项。
B
Several
years
ago,
KenKeegan
organized
a
gathering
in
Las
Vegas,
with
a
group
of
architects
involved,
who
were
asked
what
it
would
take
to
design
a
public
school
which
used
50
percent
less
energy,
cost
much
less
to
build
and
obviously
improved
students
learning.
“I
think
half
of
them
fell
off
their
chairs,”
Keegan
says.
Keegan
is
in
charge
of
the
management
school
facilities
for
Clark
County,
Nevada,
a
district
roughly
the
size
of
Massachusetts.
By
2028,
143,000
additional
students
will
enter
the
already
crowded
public-education
system.
Keegan
needs
73
new
schools
to
house
them.
Four
architecture
teams
have
nearly
finished
designing
primary
school
prototypes.
With
the
intention
of
constructing
their
schools
in
2019,
the
district
will
assess
how
well
the
schools
perform
before
allowing
the
winners
to
conduct
their
designs
in
50
to
70
new
buildings.
Green
schools
keep
emerging
all
over,
but
in
Clark
County,
which
stands
out
for
its
vastness,
such
aggressive
targets
are
difficult
because
design
requirements
like
more
natural
light
for
students
go
against
the
realities
of
a
desert
climate.
“One
of
the
biggest
obstacles
is
getting
the
right
site
orientation,”
Mark.
Mc,
a
director
at
SH
Architecture,
says.
His
team
recently
completed
a
high
school
in
Las
Vegas.
“You
have
the
same
building,
same
set
of
windows,
but
if
its
orientation
is
incorrect
and
it
faces
the
sun,
it
will
be
really
expensive
to
cool.”
Surprisingly
the
man
responsible
for
one
of
the
most
progressive
green-design
competitions
has
doubts
about
ideas
of
eco-friendly
buildings.
“I
don’t
believe
in
the
new
green
religion,”
Keegan
says,
“Some
of
the
building
technologies
that
you
put
forward
are
impractical.
I’m
only
interested
in
those
that
work.”
But
he
doesn’t
mind
if
some
green
features
inspire
students.
He
says
he
hopes
to
set
up
green
energy
systems
that
allow
them
to
learn
about
the
process
of
harvesting
wind
and
solar
power.
“You
never
know
what’s
going
to
start
the
interest
of
a
child
to
study
math
and
science,”
he
says.
4.
What
can
be
inferred
from
the
architects’
reaction
in
Paragraph
1?
A.
Half
of
them
lost
balance
in
excitement.
B.
Disbelief
was
obviously
seen.
C.
Most
of
them
expressed
little
interest.
D.
They
burst
into
cheers.
5.
Which
order
of
steps
should
be
followed
in
carrying
out
the
project?
A.
Assessment-Construction-Design.
B.
Assessment-Design-Construction.
C.
Design-Construction-Assessment.
D.
Design-Assessment-Construction.
6.
What
is
the
biggest
challenge
Clark
County
faces
if
they
are
to
build
green
schools?
A.
The
large
size.
B.
Limited
facilities.
C.
The
desert
climate.
D.
Poor
natural
resources.
7.
In
Keegan’s
opinion,
the
ideas
of
green
schools
are
.
A.
questionable
B.
out
of

C.
advanced
D.
practical.
【答案】4.
B
5.
D
6.
C
7.
A
【解析】
【分析】这是一篇记叙文。Keegan想要创办一所绿色学校的想法遭到了很多人的质疑,最后连自己也开始怀疑自己的设计要求。诚然,具有创新精神是好,但不切实际的想法并不能得以实现,一切还得从实际出发。
【4题详解】
推理判断题。根据文章第一段“I
think
half
of
them
fell
off
their
chairs.”(我想他们中有一半是从椅子上摔下来的)可推知,建筑师们觉得Keegan的要求不可思议,难以置信。A为“激动得失去了平衡”,B为“怀疑显然是显而易见的”,C为“不感兴趣”,D为“突然大哭”,都不符合本意,故选B。
【5题详解】
细节理解题。根据文章第二段“Four
architecture
teams
have
nearly
finished
designing
primary
school
prototypes.
With
the
intention
of
constructing
their
schools
in
2019,
the

will
assess
how
well
the
schools
perform
before
allowing
the
winners
to
conduct
their
designs

to
70
new
buildings.”(四个建筑团队已经完成了小学原型的设计。为了在2019年建造他们的学校,该学区将评估学校的表现,然后允许获胜者在50至70座新建筑中进行设计。)可知,工程的实施应按照“设计—评估—建设”的程序。故选D。
【6题详解】
细节理解题。根据文章第三段“…such
aggressive
targets
are
difficult
because
design
requirements
like
more
natural
light
for
students
go
against
the
realities
of
a
desert
climate.”(……这样激进的目标是困难的,因为设计要求,如为学生提供更多的自然光,与沙漠气候的现实相违背。)可知,建绿色校园的难题是沙漠气候,而并非巨大的面积、有限的设施或贫瘠的自然资源,故选C。
【7题详解】
推理判断题。根据最后一段“I
don’t
believe
in
the
new
green
religion...”(
我不相信新的绿色宗教……)
,
“Some
of
the
building
technologies
that
you
get
are
impractical…”(你提出的一些建筑技术是不切实际的……)可知,Keegan对上面提到的计划感到怀疑。故选A。

李子柒,一个专注于中国传统烹饪和手工艺品的视频短博主,在世界范围内广受欢迎。李子柒在新浪微博(相当于中国的推特)上有大约2000万粉丝,在海外社交媒体网络上还有700万粉丝。许多外国人说,通过她的渠道,他们了解了中国的传统饮食文化。这两段中都提到了中国传统的饮食文化和手工艺,可知李子柒的视频是为了使中国的饮食文化和手工艺传播到世界各地去,故选C。
【9题详解】
推理判断题。根据第三段“She

他们只是向观众展示了中国传统文化的每一个细节,让后者了解中国人如何过着他们美丽而优雅的生活。可知,细节和准确性对李的视频的成功起着重要作用,故选B。
【10题详解】
词义猜测题。根据划线单词后的“cultural
heritages
that
only
existed
in
memories
and
written
records
now
appear
before
our
eyes.”只存在于记忆和文字记录中的文化遗产,现在展现在我们面前,从无形到有形,可知划线单词的意思是非物质的,无形的,故选A。
【11题详解】
推理判断题。根据文中的内容以及最后一句“To
effectively
present
the
beauty
of
Chinese
culture
to
the
world,
we
need
more
Li
Zigi.”
要有效地向世界展示中国文化的美丽,我们需更多的李子柒,可推断作者写本文旨在鼓励更多的人做出努力把中国文化传播到国外去,故选D。
【点睛】推理判断题的推断对象主要包括隐含意思、目标读者、观点态度、文章出处、写作意图等。以推断隐含意义的题目居多。推断隐含意义,即要求根据文章的某个句子、段落或全文所提供的事实进行逻辑推理,推断出作者没有提到、没有明说或者可能发生的事实。题干中常含infer(推断),suggest(暗示),imply(暗示),indicate(暗示),conclude(推断,得出结论)等词语。解此类题,首先找到相关信息,然后细读、理解相关信息的字面意义,最后结合语境和常识,在字面意义的基础上进行符合逻辑的推断,从而理解作者的言外之意。如小题4,根据文中的内容以及最后一句“To
effectively
present
the
beauty
of
Chinese
culture
to
the
world,
we
need
more
Li
Zigi.”
要有效地向世界展示中国文化的美丽,我们需更多的李子柒,可推断作者写本文旨在鼓励更多的人做出努力把中国文化传播到国外去,故选D。
D
We
lead
very
busy
lives
and
we
too
easily
forget
how
hard
it
was
for
us
to
focus
on
homework
when
we
were
in
school.
Now
that
we
have
jobs
to
do,
food
to
buy
and
cook
and
other
errands(差事)
to
run,
even
I
sometimes
think
it
would
be
a
welcome
change
to
have
to
sit
down
and
quietly
read
and
write
with
no
distractions.
But,
in
case
you
don’t
remember
-
homework
is
pretty
much
every
child’s
least
favorite
thing
to
do.
In
the
age
of
Netflix,
Snapchat
and
wifi,
the
distractions
are
almost
endless.
It
can
sometimes
almost
be
too
hard
to
even
keep
up
with
all
the
new
tech
advances
our
kids
are
using,
so
how
can
we
make
sure
that
those
advances
take
a
back
seat
to
our
children’s
education?
Here
are
some
ideas.
There’s
no
point
in
stopping
the
reality
that
young
people
are
going
to
focus
on
their
phones
and
tablets
instead
of
other
things
at
times.
Your
best
way
is
to
accept,
actually
the
tech
sector
continues
to
be
the
most
profitable
and
fast-growing
industries
and
that’s
unlikely
to
change
fast.
There
are
ways
to
use
technology
to
help
your
kid
do
homework.
Ask
your
teacher
and
school
staff
what
apps
and
websites
they’re
using
to
teach
lessons
and
supplements(补充)
them
with
at-home
activities
as
well.
Even
though
technology
has
changed,
the
basics
haven’t.
If
you
want
to
read,
write
and
think
properly,
you
need
to
have
peace
and
quiet
and
the
ability
to
focus,
right?
Well,
your
kids
are
just
the
same.Try
and
find
a
space
in
your
home
to
enable
your
kids
to
do
work
away
from
televisions,
the
Internet
or
other
distractions.
Let
me
be
clear:
this
shouldn’t
be
a
prison.I
feel
like
I’m
my
most
productive
working
alone
in
an
office
or
at
a
busy
cafe
with
my
headphones
on.
Getting
lost
in
other
realities
helps
my
creativity
grow.
Placing
kids
in
isolation(独处)
can
often
have
a
harmful
effect
and
doesn’t
always
equal
being
more
productive.
I
feel
like
“getting
engaged(

)”
is
always
a
big
part
of
my
advice
for
parents
on
just
about
everything.
How
can
you
make
sure
your
children
are
being
successful
if
you
have
no
idea
what
they’re
doing?
How
can
you
be
sure
they’re
doing
it
right
if
you
don’t
know
what
is
the
correct
answer?
What
do
they
need?
You
should
be
in
touch
with
their
teachers,
have
a
sense
of
where
the
lessons
are
going,
what
kinds
of
tasks
are
being
given
and
what
success
looks
like
in
the
classroom.
Knowing
all
of
that
is
key
to
your
child’s
success,
especially
when
matched
with
some
encouraging
praise
and
helpful
tips
on
how
he
can
keep
going.
Thinking
about
how
your
child
is
best
motivated(激励)
by
other
things
and
using
those
methods
here
reasonably
isn’t
a
bad
idea.
And
if
by
chance
you’re
having
trouble
solving
that
Math
problems
or
understanding
a
sentence,
don’t
fear

you’re
not
alone.
Use
the
school
staff,
other
parents
or
friends
as
your
support.
Better
to
seek
help
than
do
nothing.
We
all
know
that
homework
isn’t
exactly
the
most
entertaining
way
anyone
spends
their
time.
And
sometimes
we
can’t
help
but
feel
that
since
we
left
school,
we’re
done
with
homework
forever.
But
the
circle
of
life
plays
out
in
all
times
and
it’s
up
to
us
to
make
sure
that
we
pass
on
the
lessons
we’ve
picked
up
and
that
while
homework
might
seem
dull,
it’s
how
we
build
skills,
learn
real
lessons
and
get
on
the
road
to
greatness.
That
greatness
is
on
the
inside,
it’s
up
to
us
as
adults
to
enable
the
young
people
to

【解析】
【分析】这是一篇议论文。文章主要就如何在科技技术进步的时候,确保孩子们的教育问题这一话题提出了相关的建议,其中最重要的就是家长对孩子的帮助和引导。
【12题详解】
推理判断题。根据第二段中的“There
are
ways
to
use
technology
to
help
your
kid
do
homework.
Ask
your
teacher
and
school
staff
what
apps
and
websites
they’re
using
to
teach
lessons
and
supplements(补充)
them
with
at-home
activities
as
well.”可知,有多种使用技术来帮助孩子做作业的方法。询问老师和学校工作人员他们正在使用哪些应用程序和网站来教课,并通过家庭活动对它们进行补充。由此可知,对于新技术的态度,作者认为其有利于学生的教育。故选C项。
【13题详解】
细节理解题。根据第四段中的“Thinking
about
how
your
child
is
best
motivated
by
other
things
and
using
those
methods
here
reasonably
isn’t
a
bad
idea.”?可知,想一想你的孩子是如何被其他事情激励的,然后合理地使用这些方法会是个不错的主意。由此可知,作者认为家长应该要了解最能够激励他们孩子的方法,然后对其加以利用。故选B项。
【14题详解】
细节理解题。根据第四段中的“You
should
be
in
touch
with
their
teachers,
have
a
sense
of
where
the
lessons
are
going,
what
kinds
of
tasks
are
being
given
and
what
success
looks
like
in
the
classroom.”可知,你应该和他们的老师保持联系,了解课程的内容、任务的类型以及在课堂上怎样算得上成功。再由第五段中的“Knowing
all
of
that
is
key
to
your
child’s
success,
especially
when
matched
with
some
encouraging
praise
and
helpful
tips
on
how
he
can
keep
going.”可知,知道所有这些是孩子成功的关键,尤其是当你的孩子得到一些鼓励性的表扬和如何继续前进的有用建议时。由此可知,当父母参与孩子的家庭作业时,他们应该尽可能多地了解它。故选D项。
【15题详解】
推理判断题。根据最后一段中的“But
the
circle
of
life
plays
out
in
all
times
and
it’s
up
to
us
to
make
sure
that
we
pass
on
the
lessons
we’ve
picked
up
and
that
while
homework
might
seem
dull,
it’s
how
we
build
skills,
learn
real
lessons
and
get
on
the
road
to
greatness.
The
greatness
is
on
the
inside,
it’s
up
to
us
as
adults
to
enable
the
young
people
to
bring
it
out.”可知,但生活的循环任何时候都在上演,我们必须确保把所学的知识传递下去,并告诉他们尽管家庭作业看起来枯燥乏味,但这正式我们培养技能、得到真正教训、走上伟大之路的方式。这种伟大是内在的,这取决于作为成年人的我们能够使年轻人把它展现出来。由此可知,父母应该把自己所学到的东西传承给孩子,让他们有正确的态度,帮助他们获得成功。因此,没有父母的努力和帮助,孩子很难取得成功。故选C项。
第二节
(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项.选项中有两项为多余选项.
Here's
the
scenario(场景):
You've
got
an
article
to
write
on
an
interesting
topic.
You
have
more
than
enough
time
to
meet
your
deadline
and
an
editor
lined
up
to
perfect
your
words.
There's
one
big
problem,
though.
The
words
won't
come.
You've
got
writer's
block.
_____16_____
And
your
deadline,
which
seemed
generous
at
first,
is
starting
to
close
in
on
you.
Every
writer
has
been
there.
What
can
you
do
about
it?
_____17_____
Science
says
that's
when
writers
are
most
creative
and
least
likely
to
be
distracted.
But
when
you're
completely
stuck,
going
straight
into
writing
first
thing
in
the
morning
might
not
work.
Why
not
start
your
day
with
something
you're
excited
about?
It'll
be
more
fun
and
make
you
feel
productive.
Smoothly
as
the
morning
unfolds,
writer's
block
may
linger(逗留).
While
faced
with
it,
we
find
the
best
approach
is
to
break
your
task
up
into
chunks.
_____18_____
With
this
one
little
step,
you've
accomplished
something
and
you're
one
step
closer
to
meeting
that
deadline.
Then,
do
some
reading,
make
a
list
of
any
ideas
you
find
interesting,
and
use
your
list
to
create
a
rough
outline.
_____19_____
The
draft
may
still
need
some
polishing,
but
you're
most
of
the
wav
there
now!
Besides,
writing
is
more
than
putting
words
on
paper.
It's
also
about
thinking.
You
should
feel
free
to
walk
away
when
you
need
to
have
some
quality
“thinking
time”.
If
you
use
these
breaks
to
do
something
productive,
you
won't
think
of
it
as
time
wasted.
_____20_____
You'll
get
fresh
air
and
exercise—which
are
both
known
to
be
good
for
creativity—and
your
colleagues
will
thank
you.
A.
Take
a
walk
outside
with
a
pen
and
paper.
B.
You've
been
staring
at
a
blank
page
for
days.
C.

to
reduce
the
difficulty
of
writing.
D.
Here's
an
idea:
offer
a
coffee
run
for
your
colleagues.
E.
Start
with
something
small,
like
creating
a
new

F.
Writers

they

【答案】16.
B
17.
F
18.
E
19.
G
20.
D
【解析】
【分析】本篇是议论。本文介绍了写作缺乏灵感时,如何下笔的方法。
【16题详解】
考查上下文衔接。前一句提到writer’s
block,后一句进行解释盯着一页发呆很久,不知不觉就到截止日期了。选项B表达的意思是你会对着一张空白页盯着看很多天是属于writer’s
block的解释内容,承接上文,并且后一句中的stare和B选项中的stare直接同词复现。故选B。
【17题详解】
考查代词指代。第二段第二句中的that和第三句中的going
straight
into
writing
first
thing
in
the
morning都是在讲早间写作。第一句又是本段的主题句,所以第一句应该也提到了在晨间写作,故选F。
【18题详解】
考查代词指代。前一句中break
your
task
up
into
chunks,说明此段的建议是将写作工作化整为零、进行分解。后一句中this
one
little
step说明此题的内容应该是写作工作中一小步,且与化整为零有关,E选项表达的意思就是从一些小事开始,比如创建一个新文件夹。故选E。
【19题详解】
考查代词指代。前一句提到a
rough
outline意为粗略的提纲,后一句提到The
draft
意为草稿,本句应该承上启下,衔接提纲和草稿,又因G选项中的代词it可指代a
rough
outline,此外选项中a
draft正好首次提到草稿。故选G。
【20题详解】
考查上下文衔接。前一句If
you
use
these
breaks
to
do
something
productive,
you
won’t
think
of
it
as
time
wasted.意为如果你停下来思考的时候正好能做点有意义的事儿,你就不会认为那是在浪费时间了。后一句You’ll
get
fresh
air
and
exercise—which
are
both
known
to
be
good
for
creativity—and
your
colleagues
will
thank
you.意为你能呼吸一点儿新鲜空气,还能稍微锻炼一下,既对创新有益,又能得到同事的感谢。本句承上启下,应该是关于一种停下来思考的时候,可以做的对写作思路有帮助,且对同事有好处的事。D选项offer
a
coffee
run
for
your
colleagues意为帮同事跑腿儿买杯咖啡。
故选D。

It
was
a
rainy
November
morning.
Overcome
with
anger
I
knew
if
I
didn’t
leave
the
house
soon
I
would
lose
my
temper
with
my
husband,
Joe.
As
rain
came
down
in

Joe
offered
to
take
me
to
work.
I
struggled
into
my
jacket,
seized
my

and
teaching

and
ignored
him.
He
insisted
and
reached
for
his
boots.
I
looked
at
the
piles
of
newspapers
and
the
dirty
dishes
still
on
the
table.
“Don’t
you
have
enough
to
do?I
can
take
care
of
myself.”
I
stormed
out,
not
even
kissing
him
good-bye.
Joe
shouted
after
me
not
to
take
the
shortcut.
Joe
and
I
had

I

The

Exhausted

was
a

Sometimes
he

One
night
when
I
dragged
myself
to

I
was
terrified
to

Joe
had
turned
our

blue:
He
told
me
he
had
found
out
how
to

on
water,
soap
and
electricity.
He
patted
his
blue
trousers
and
announced

Ten
minutes
later,
ignoring
Joe’s
warning
I
turned
off
the

I

the
road,
but
as
I
rounded
the

water
rushed
across
my
path.
After
a

feet,
the
car
got
stuck.
I
opened
the

and
water
poured
in.
I

closed

I

【解析】
【分析】这是一篇读后续写作文。
【详解】通过阅读所给文章可知,文章主要记叙了十一月的一个早晨,下着大雨,作者的丈夫Joe叮嘱作者不要抄近路去上班。也使作者想起了丈夫因为心脏病发作,不得不待在家里做家务,而作者要继续全职工作。一天的劳累之后,作者想要的只是一顿热腾腾的家宴和一夜好眠,却发现丈夫晚上只有燕麦粥,而且家务也做的不好的事情,作者对丈夫心生不满。作者没有听丈夫的话,还是走了近路,结果车被困在了积满雨水的道路上。
续写部分分为两段,第一段开头是:我回过头,盯着一辆卡车闪烁的灯光。所以后文应该是讲述作者发现是丈夫来解救自己,以及丈夫解救作者的经过,最后作者被一根树枝拦住了;第二段开头是:我尖叫着说我过去不了。本段应该写作者的丈夫如何鼓励作者克服了困难的,最后作者意识到丈夫其实懂得如何照顾自己,尽管他做家务很麻烦。
续写时要求使用5个以上短文中标有下划线的关键词语增加了写作难度,我们要熟悉所给划线词语,恰当的时候加以运用。最后还要注意所续写短文的词数应为150左右;续写完成后,请用下划线标出你所使用的关键词语。按要求完成写作任务。
