1.能运用功能句“Can you tell me about…?” “He / She is… .”在情景中询问或介绍他人年龄、样貌、性格、擅长做什么等情况。
2. 能理解并朗读本课对话，尝试表演；能根据关键词的提示复述对话内容.
3.能说一段话来介绍自己最喜欢的老师或者教练。
2学情分析
??????? 对于六年级的学生来说，本课涉及到的相关语言大部分都属于旧知的滚动复现，而且本课主题对学生来说也算是比较熟悉的，因为学生对于描述人的文章已经见到过很多了，而且进行过写作。只是对话中有些单词对他们来说有点陌生，比如coach，professional player，我将采用学生熟悉的图片示意和英英示意的方式来讲授。
?????? 对于学生来说，学习的难点在于如何能够整合所学的知识，在理解对话的基础上进行有效、合理的输出。在输出拓展环节，我为学生的语言运用搭建平台，设计了介绍自己最喜欢的教师或者教练。让他们根据对话中所学的内容进行介绍，可以在此基础上进行创新，但要保证基础的语言点要正确。最后结合学生的实际情况，引导他们和自己最喜欢的老师说一说自己想说的话，进行感情方面的升华。
3重点难点
教学重点：
（1）能运用功能句介绍他人年龄、样貌、性格、擅长做什么等信息。
（2）理解、朗读和表演对话内容，能根据关键词的提示复述对话内容。

完整正确地说一段话来介绍自己最喜欢的老师或者教练。

活动1【导入】听唱英语歌，激发学生学习兴趣，活跃课堂气氛，为课文内容做铺垫。

I Pre-listening
Ask them: How are you today? You are very happy today , but Sara
isn抰 so happy.
Look, where is Sara?(She is in the ping-pong class.)
燱ho is she talking with ?(She is talking with Baobao.)
燱ho are they talking about?(They are talking about Ms. Wu)
II While listening
1. Listen for the first time
(1)How does Sara feel? Why? (She is nervous. Because this is her first ping-pong class. And she will meet her new coach, Ms Wu.) Show
them some pictures about coach, help them to understand.
(2)We know Sara is nervous. Is Baobao nervous too?(No, he isn抰.)
What does he say?(Everything will be all right.) What does he think of Ms Wu? (She is very kind.) According to Baobao,what does Ms Wu
often do ? (She smiles a lot.)
After that, is Sara still nervous?(No.) Why? What does she say ?
(Because she thinks Ms Wu sounds nice.) How does Sara feel now?
She must be very happy.
2. Listen for the second time
燬ara wants to know more about Ms. Wu. Do you want to know more
about Ms Wu ?(Yes.) What do you want to know?
How old is she? (She is 38 years old.)
What does she look like? (She is tall, with big eyes and a round face.)
What is she good at? (She is good at teaching girl students.)
What did she do before? (She was a professional player.)

From the dialogue , we know something about Baobao and Sara’s
coach, Ms Wu. Can you tell something about your teachers or
coaches? Who’s your favorite teacher or coach?
