1、I love playing on the computer in the study. 我喜欢在书里玩电脑。
love意为“爱，喜爱”。如果表示经常性的，习惯性的喜欢，后面常加动词-ing形式；若表示特定的或者具体某一次的喜欢则加动词不定式to do sth.。如： I love swimming, but I don’t love to swim today.
【衔接】like的用法与love相同。如：
She likes walking to school, but she likes to go to school by bus today.
她喜欢步行上学，但今天她想乘公共汽车上学。
2、On the left of the yard, there is a kitchen and a dining room.
在院子的左边有一个厨房和一个餐厅
1）left 在本句中是名词，意为“左、左边”。Left还可作形容词和副词。如： Some people write with left hand. 有些人用左手写字。

2） on the left of…在…..的左边，类似的短语还有：
in the center of…在……中央，at the back of…在……后部，on the right of…在……右边。
【衔接】有时为了强调时间、地点或为了使表达语气、语义流畅，there be 句型的状语可以提前。如：There is a big tree in front of the house. Behind the house, there is a small garden.房子的前面有棵大树。房子的后面有一个小花园。

people 集体名词，单复数同形，意为“人们”。如：
The Chinese people are hardworking and brave.中国人民勤劳勇敢。
【拓展】people指民族时可以有单数和复数形式。如：
The people in China all love their motherland.中国各族人民都热爱他们的祖国。
4、The bag in picture A is green.图A里的书包是绿色的。
在英语中，介词短语作定语时要放在被修饰词的后面。in picture A是bag 的后置定语。如 ：The book on the desk is mine.书桌上的那本书是我的
