本课以“dog”为主题,谈论狗对人类的帮助。用情态动词can以及用can't谈论能力的不足。这个话题比较贴近学生的日常生活,使学生可以运用所学的知识,在现实生活中进行真实的交流。
学情分析
学生大多数是从一年级开始学习英语,到了五年级,已经具备了一定的听说读写技能,有较强的模仿能力。在老师的引导下,能运用所学基本句型进行语言操练,在课堂教学中能积极参与,互动交流。他们对新知识有强烈的好奇心,非常希望学得更好,但是,由于他们的英语学习能力不一样,需要老师的指导和鼓励。对与“can”谈论能力和用法和表示请求允许的用法,大多数学生能够掌握,但是,引导他们在真是的情境中运用,还需要大量操练。本课的设计,以学生为中心,以任务为导向,让学生在活动中,通过多种手段学习和使用英语,完成任务。使学生在学习过程中培养综合语言运用能力。

教学目标
(一)知识与技能:
1.全体学生能运用句型can\can't描述能力。
2.全体学生能听懂、会说单词blind,deaf,presenter,useful,firefighter,hot
dog。
(二)情感、态度和价值观:
通过丰富有趣的活动,让学生体会到学习英语的乐趣。
通过观看视频对学生进行情感教育,同时培养学生关爱动物的品质。
