阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C和D四个选项中选出最佳选项。
A
Stand
Up
Straight
and
Feel
Better
with
the
Perfect
Walker
It's
a
cruel
fact
of
life,
as
we
age,
gravity
(重力)
takes
over.
We
find
ourselves
walking
less
and
less
—
and
that
only
makes
matters
worse.
Well,
cheer
up!
There's
finally
a
product
designed
to
enable
us
all
to
walk
properly
and
stay
on
the
go.
It's
called
the
Perfect
Walker,
and
it
can
truly
change
your
life.
Traditional
walkers
simply
aren't
designed
well.
They
require
you
to
put
pressure
on
your
back,
neck,
wrists
and
your
hands.
Over
time,
this
makes
walking
uncomfortable
and
can
result
in
health
problems.
That's
all
changed
with
the
Perfect
Walker.
Its
upright
design
and
padded
elbow
will
make
you
more
comfortable.
Its
special
frame
gives
you
plenty
of
room
to
step,
and
the
oversized
wheels
help
you
move
across
the
floor.
The
height
can
be
easily
adjusted
(调节)
with
the
push
of
a
button.
Once
you've
reached
your
destination
you
can
use
the
hand
brakes
to
gently
slow
down,
and
there's
even
a
handy
seat
with
a
storage
space.
Why
do
you
spend
another
day
making
walking
uncomfortable?
Call
now,
and
find
out
how
you
can
try
out
a
Perfect
Walker
for
yourself
in
your
own
home.
You'll
be
glad
you
buy
it.

B
You’ve
heard
the
predictions
from
some
of
the
brightest
minds
about
AI’s
influence.
Tesla
and
SpaceX’s
chief
Elon
Musk
worries
that
AI
is
far
more
dangerous
than
nuclear
weapons.
The
late
scientist
Stephen
Hawking
warned
that
AI
could
serve
as
the
“worst
event
in
the
history
of
our
civilization”
unless
humanity
is
prepared
for
its
possible
risks.
But
many
experts,
even
those
who
are
aware
of
such
risks,
have
a
more
positive
attitude,
especially
in
health-care
and
possibly
in
education.
That
is
one
of
the
results
from
a
new
AI
study
released
Monday
by
the
Pew
Research
Centre.
Pew
canvassed
the
opinions
of
979
experts
over
the
summer,
a
group
that
included
famous
technologists,
developers,
innovators,
business
and
policy
leaders.
The
interviewed
experts,
some
of
whom
chose
to
remain
anonymous,
were
asked
to
join
in
the
discussion
of
a
serious
and
important
question:
“By
2030,
do
you
think
it
is
most
likely
that
advancing
AI
and
related
technology
systems
will
improve
human
capacities
and
control
them?”
Nearly
two-thirds
of
experts
predicted
most
of
us
will
be
mostly
better
off.
But
a
third
thought
otherwise,
and
a
majority
of
the
experts
expressed
at
least
some
concerns
over
the
long-term
impact
of
AI
on
the
“essential
elements
of
being
human”.
Among
those
concerns
were
data
abuse,
loss
of
jobs
and
loss
of
control
brought
by
autonomous
weapons
and
cybercrime.
Above
all,
by
taking
data
in
and
spitting
answers
out,
those
“black
box”
tools
make
decisions
in
digital
systems.
It
is
an
erosion
in
our
ability
to
think
for
ourselves.
4.
Why
is
Stephen
Hawking
mentioned
in
the
first
paragraph?
A.
To
warn
humans
to
give
up
AI
as
soon
as
possible.
B.
To
remind
readers
that
a
new
AI
age
has
come
into
view.
C.
To
prove
great
scientists
care
much
about
the
future
of
AI.
D.
To
introduce
the
main
idea
of
the
text
that
AI
benefits
the
future.
5.
What
is
true
of
Pew’s
study?
A.
Most
experts
are
certain
that
AI
will
be
out
of
control.
B.
Pew
asked
experts
from
different
fields
for
opinions.
C.
Pew
concludes
that
humans
will
suffer
from
AI.
D.
33%
of
experts
think
AI
will
have
little
impact
on
humans.
6.
Why
some
experts
concern
about
“black
box”
tools?
A.
Because
they
make
decisions
in
digital
systems.
B.
Because
they
can
take
data
in
and
spit
answers
out.
C.
Because
they
may
weaken
our
ability
to
think
independently.
D.
Because
they
may
decrease
humans’
welfare
in
the
long
term.
7.
What
is
the
last
paragraph
mainly
about?
A.
Experts’
concern
about
AI.
B.
Humans’
being
controlled
by
AI.
C.
Experts’
Expectation
of
AI.
D.
AI’s
influence
on
society.
C
Honeybees
can’t
swim,
and
when
their
wings
are
wet,
they
can’t
fly,
either.
But
Chris
Roh
and
other
researchers
at
the
California
Institute
of
Technology
found
that
when
bees
drop
into
bodies
of
water,
they
can
use
their
wings
to
produce
little
waves
and
slide
toward
land-like
surfers
who
create
and
then
ride
their
own
waves.
As
with
many
scientific
advances-Isaac
Newton’s
apple
or
Benjamin
Franklin’s
lightning
bolt-Dr.
Roh’s
experiment
began
with
a
walk.
Passing
Caltech’s
Millikan
Pond
in
2016,
he
observed
a
bee
on
the
water’s
surface
producing
waves.
He
wondered
how
an
insect
known
for
flight
could
push
itself
through
water.
Dr.
Roh
and
his
co-worker,
Morteza
Gharib,
used
butterfly
nets
to
collect
local
Pasadena
honeybees
and
observed
their
surf-like
movements.
The
researchers
used
a
wire
to
restrict
each
bee’s
bodily
movement,
allowing
close
examination
of
their
wings.
They
found
that
the
bee
bends
its
wings
at
a
30-degree
angle,
pulling
up
water
and
producing
a
forward
force.
Bees
get
trapped
on
the
surface
because
water
is
roughly
three
times
heavier
than
air.
But
that
weight
helps
to
push
the
bee
forward
when
its
wings
move
quickly
up
and
down.
It’s
a
tough
exercise
for
the
bees,
which
the
researchers
guess
could
handle
about
10
minutes
of
the
activity.
The
researchers
said
the
surf-like
movement
hasn’t
been
documented
in
other
insects
and
most
semiaquatic
insects
use
their
legs
for
propulsion,
which
is
known
as
water-walking.
It
may
have
evolved
in
bees,
they-predicted.
Dr.
Roh
and
Dr.
Gharib
have
imagined
many
practical
applications
for
bees’
surfing.
One
plan
is
to
use
their
observations
to
design
robots
able
to
travel
across
sky
and
sea.
“This
could
be
useful
for
search
and
rescues,
or
for
getting
samples
of
the
surface
of
the
ocean,
if
you
can’t
send
a
boat
or
helicopter,”
Dr.
Gharib
said.
8.
What
does
the
author
intend
to
show
by
mentioning
Newton
and
Franklin?

Roh’s
admiration
for
them.

Roh’s
chance
discovery
about
bees.
C.
Their
outstanding
talent
for
science.
D.

similar
achievements
in

9.
What
plays
the
most
vital
role
in
a
bee’s
moving
forward
on
water?
A.
The
air
weight.
B.
Its
leg
extension.
C.
The
water
movement.
D.
Its
continuous
wingbeat.
10.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“propulsion”
in
Paragraph
4
mean?
A.
Fast
flight
B.
Driving
force.
C.
Pulling
speed.
D.
Explosive
power.
11.
What
does
the
text
mainly
tell
us?
A.
Honeybees
can
surf
to
safety.
B.
Bees
help
scientists
make
inventions.
C.
Insects
can
adapt
to
the

At
Mrs.
Jennings’
handsome
house,
in
London.
While
waiting
for
dinner,
Marianne
Dashwood
wrote
a
letter
very
quickly.
Elinoir
Dashwood
noticed
a
large
“W”
in
the
address.
Marianne
rang
the
bell
to
have
someone
post
it
immediately.
After
dinner,
there
was
a
loud
knock
at
the
door.
Marianne
cried,
“Oh,
it’s
Willoughby!”
and
seemed
to
throw
herself
into
his
arms
when
Colonel
Brandon
came
in.
She
was
so
surprised
that
she
immediately
left
the
room.
Elinor
made
the
tea
for
Colonel
Brandon.
He
did
not
stay
long.
The
next
morning,
upon
arriving
at
home
after
shopping,
Marianne
flew
upstairs.
“No
letter
has
been
left
here
for
me
since
we
went
out.
How
strange!”
she
said,
in
a
low
and
disappointed
voice.
About
a
week
later,
they
saw
Mr.
Willoughby’s
card
on
the
table
when
they
came
in
from
morning’s
drive.
He
had
been
there
while
the
ladies
were
out.
“He
will
call
again
tomorrow,”
said
Elinor.
Marianne
decided
to
stay
behind
the
next
morning,when
the
others
went
out.
One
look
at
her
sister
when
they
returned
was
enough
to
tell
Elinor
that
Willoughby
had
not
called.
Colonel
Brandon
came
again
to
tea
and
had
short
private
conversation
with
Elinor.
“Your
sister’s
engagement
to
Mr
Willoughby
is
very
well
known.”
“It
cannot
be
well
known,”
returned
Elinor,
“for
her
own
family
does
not
know
it.”
“I
am
sorry
but
I
did
not
realize
it
was
a
secret.
I
came
to
ask,is
everything
decided?Is
it
possible
to?
Excuse
me,
Miss
Dashwood.
I
believe
I
have
been
wrong
in
saying
so
much.”
From
these
words
Elinor
was
sure
of
something,
yet
she
knew
he
could
never
be
successful
with
her.
Over
the
next
three
or
four
days,
Willoughby
neither
came
nor
wrote.
One
evening
at
a
party,
Marianne
suddenly
saw
Willoughby
standing
in
deep
conversation
with
a
young
woman,
whose
name
was
Grey,
a
rich
lady.
“He
is
there!
Oh!
Why
does
he
not
look
at
me?
Why
can’t
I
speak
to
him?”
“Marianne,”
said
Elinor,
“perhaps
he
hasn’t
seen
you
yet.”
At
last
he
came
to
them.
“Willoughby,
what’s
wrong?
Did
you
not
get
my
letters?
Won’t
you
look
at
me?”
After
a
moment’s
pause,
he
spoke.
“I
came
by
last
Tuesday
but
unfortunately
did
not
see
you.
My
card
was
not
lost,
I
hope.”
“Have
you
not
received
my
notes?”
cried
Marianne.
“Tell
me
Willoughby;
tell
me,
what’s
the
matter?”
Quiet
and
embarrassed,
he
said
nothing
more
and
turned
quickly
away
to
Miss
Grey.
Marianne,
turning
white
and
unable
to
stand,
fell
into
her
chair.

Social

sites
often
have
access
to
a

and
posts.
Recently
a
new

developed
to

It
tells
people
when
their
apps
are
sending

can
help
spot
the
misuse.
SPEProxy
identifies
the
misuse
of
data
using
an
approach
that
has
already
been
used
to
diagnose
illnesses.
In
the
clinical
field,a
kind
of
medical
software
is
used
to
collect
data
from
a
patient.
Then
it
compares
them
to
those
symptoms
of
many
possible
illnesses
to
make
a
diagnosis.
Right
now,people
can
only
track
data
with
the
new
tool
by
going
to
a
website.___20___
It's
also
a
bit
awkward
to
use.People
may
not
want
to
go
to
the
trouble
of
getting
online
to
track
their
data.
A
more
convenient
version
that
people
could
install
on
their
phones
is
in
urgent
need.
A.
It
is
called
SPEProxy.
B.
That
means
it's
limited.
C.
It
is
more
than
convenient
to
use
in
computers.
D.
Your
privacy
is
what's
paying
for
it.
E.
Some
apps
use
those
data
to
do
their
job.
F.
Some
apps
may
charge
you
much
money
to
operate.
G.
They
can
show
how
and
where
people
spend
their
days.

第六部分
写作(满分25分)
61.
阅读下面短文,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一个完整的短文。
I
grew
up
in
a
small
town
where
elementary
school
was
a
ten-minute
walk
from
my
house
and
in
an
age,
not
so
long
ago,
when
we
children
could
go
home
for
lunch
and
find
our
mothers
waiting.
At
the
time,
I
didn’t
consider
this
to
be
so
important,
although
today
it
certainly
would
be.
Actually,
our
lunch
time
together
in
the
past
years
had
had
a
great
influence
on
my
life
before
I
realized
it.
Our
lunch
time
when
I
was
in
the
third
grade
will
stay
with
me
always.
I
had
been
picked
to
be
the
princess
in
the
school
play,
and
for
weeks
my
mother
had
painstakingly
practiced
my
lines(台词)
with
me.
But
no
matter
how
easily
I
delivered
them
at
home,
as
soon
as
I
stepped
onstage,
every
word
disappeared
from
my
head.
Finally,
my
teacher
took
me
aside.
She
explained
patiently
that
she
needed
a
narrator
and
had
written
a
narrator’s
part
to
the
play,
and
asked
me
to
play
the
role
of
the
narrator.
Her
words,
kindly
delivered,
still
hurt
me
especially
when
I
saw
my
part
go
to
another
girl.
I
didn’t
tell
mother
what
had
happened
when
I
went
home
for
lunch
that
day.
But
she
sensed
my
upset,
and
instead
of
suggesting
we
practice
my
lines,
she
asked
if
I
wanted
to
walk
in
the
yard.
It
was
a
lovely
spring
day
and
the
rose
vine(藤)
was
turning
green.
Under
the
huge
trees,
we
could
see
yellow
dandelions
appearing
unexpectedly
through
the
grass
in
bunches,
as
if
a
painter
had
touched
our
landscape
with
small
amounts
of
gold.
I
watched
my
mother
casually
bend
down
by
one
of
the
bushes.
“I
think
I’m
going
to
dig
up
all
these
weeds,
”
she
said,
pulling
a
blossom
up
by
all
its
roots.
“From
now
on,
we’ll
only
have
roses
in
this
garden.
’’I
immediately
argued,
“But
I
like
dandelions.
All
flowers
are
beautiful
—
even
dandelions.”
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;
2.请在答题卡的相应位置作答。

you
mean
that
every

has
its

my

thoughtfully.

Paragraph
2:
Having
learned
what
had
happened,
Mom
patted
me
on
the

a
beautiful
narrator.

A
Stand
Up
Straight
and
Feel
Better
with
the
Perfect
Walker
It's
a
cruel
fact
of
life,
as
we
age,
gravity
(重力)
takes
over.
We
find
ourselves
walking
less
and
less
—
and
that
only
makes
matters
worse.
Well,
cheer
up!
There's
finally
a
product
designed
to
enable
us
all
to
walk
properly
and
stay
on
the
go.
It's
called
the
Perfect
Walker,
and
it
can
truly
change
your
life.
Traditional
walkers
simply
aren't
designed
well.
They
require
you
to
put
pressure
on
your
back,
neck,
wrists
and
your
hands.
Over
time,
this
makes
walking
uncomfortable
and
can
result
in
health
problems.
That's
all
changed
with
the
Perfect
Walker.
Its
upright
design
and
padded
elbow
will
make
you
more
comfortable.
Its
special
frame
gives
you
plenty
of
room
to
step,
and
the
oversized
wheels
help
you
move
across
the
floor.
The
height
can
be
easily
adjusted
(调节)
with
the
push
of
a
button.
Once
you've
reached
your
destination
you
can
use
the
hand
brakes
to
gently
slow
down,
and
there's
even
a
handy
seat
with
a
storage
space.
Why
do
you
spend
another
day
making
walking
uncomfortable?
Call
now,
and
find
out
how
you
can
try
out
a
Perfect
Walker
for
yourself
in
your
own
home.
You'll
be
glad
you
buy
it.

You’ve
heard
the
predictions
from
some
of
the
brightest
minds
about
AI’s
influence.
Tesla
and
SpaceX’s
chief
Elon
Musk
worries
that
AI
is
far
more
dangerous
than
nuclear
weapons.
The
late
scientist
Stephen
Hawking
warned
that
AI
could
serve
as
the
“worst
event
in
the
history
of
our
civilization”
unless
humanity
is
prepared
for
its
possible
risks.
But
many
experts,
even
those
who
are
aware
of
such
risks,
have
a
more
positive
attitude,
especially
in
health-care
and
possibly
in
education.
That
is
one
of
the
results
from
a
new
AI
study
released
Monday
by
the
Pew
Research
Centre.
Pew
canvassed
the
opinions
of
979
experts
over
the
summer,
a
group
that
included
famous
technologists,
developers,
innovators,
business
and
policy
leaders.
The
interviewed
experts,
some
of
whom
chose
to
remain
anonymous,
were
asked
to
join
in
the
discussion
of
a
serious
and
important
question:
“By
2030,
do
you
think
it
is
most
likely
that
advancing
AI
and
related
technology
systems
will
improve
human
capacities
and
control
them?”
Nearly
two-thirds
of
experts
predicted
most
of
us
will
be
mostly
better
off.
But
a
third
thought
otherwise,
and
a
majority
of
the
experts
expressed
at
least
some
concerns
over
the
long-term
impact
of
AI
on
the
“essential
elements
of
being
human”.
Among
those
concerns
were
data
abuse,
loss
of
jobs
and
loss
of
control
brought
by
autonomous
weapons
and
cybercrime.
Above
all,
by
taking
data
in
and
spitting
answers
out,
those
“black
box”
tools
make
decisions
in
digital
systems.
It
is
an
erosion
in
our
ability
to
think
for
ourselves.
4.
Why
is
Stephen
Hawking
mentioned
in
the
first
paragraph?
A.
To
warn
humans
to
give
up
AI
as
soon
as
possible.
B.
To
remind
readers
that
a
new
AI
age
has
come
into
view.
C.
To
prove
great
scientists
care
much
about
the
future
of
AI.
D.
To
introduce
the
main
idea
of
the
text
that
AI
benefits
the
future.
5.
What
is
true
of
Pew’s
study?
A
Most
experts
are
certain
that
AI
will
be
out
of
control.
B.
Pew
asked
experts
from
different
fields
for
opinions.
C.
Pew
concludes
that
humans
will
suffer
from
AI.
D.
33%
of
experts
think
AI
will
have
little
impact
on
humans.
6.
Why
some
experts
concern
about
“black
box”
tools?
A.
Because
they
make
decisions
in
digital
systems.
B.
Because
they
can
take
data
in
and
spit
answers
out.
C.
Because
they
may
weaken
our
ability
to
think
independently.
D.
Because
they
may
decrease
humans’
welfare
in
the
long
term.
7.
What
is
the
last
paragraph
mainly
about?
A.
Experts’
concern
about
AI.
B.
Humans’
being
controlled
by
AI.
C.
Experts’
Expectation
of
AI.
D.
AI’s
influence
on
society.

C
Honeybees
can’t
swim,
and
when
their
wings
are
wet,
they
can’t
fly,
either.
But
Chris
Roh
and
other
researchers
at
the
California
Institute
of
Technology
found
that
when
bees
drop
into
bodies
of
water,
they
can
use
their
wings
to
produce
little
waves
and
slide
toward
land-like
surfers
who
create
and
then
ride
their
own
waves.
As
with
many
scientific
advances-Isaac
Newton’s
apple
or
Benjamin
Franklin’s
lightning
bolt-Dr.
Roh’s
experiment
began
with
a
walk.
Passing
Caltech’s
Millikan
Pond
in
2016,
he
observed
a
bee
on
the
water’s
surface
producing
waves.
He
wondered
how
an
insect
known
for
flight
could
push
itself
through
water.
Dr.
Roh
and
his
co-worker,
Morteza
Gharib,
used
butterfly
nets
to
collect
local
Pasadena
honeybees
and
observed
their
surf-like
movements.
The
researchers
used
a
wire
to
restrict
each
bee’s
bodily
movement,
allowing
close
examination
of
their
wings.
They
found
that
the
bee
bends
its
wings
at
a
30-degree
angle,
pulling
up
water
and
producing
a
forward
force.
Bees
get
trapped
on
the
surface
because
water
is
roughly
three
times
heavier
than
air.
But
that
weight
helps
to
push
the
bee
forward
when
its
wings
move
quickly
up
and
down.
It’s
a
tough
exercise
for
the
bees,
which
the
researchers
guess
could
handle
about
10
minutes
of
the
activity.
The
researchers
said
the
surf-like
movement
hasn’t
been
documented
in
other
insects
and
most
semiaquatic
insects
use
their
legs
for
propulsion,
which
is
known
as
water-walking.
It
may
have
evolved
in
bees,
they-predicted.
Dr.
Roh
and
Dr.
Gharib
have
imagined
many
practical
applications
for
bees’
surfing.
One
plan
is
to
use
their
observations
to
design
robots
able
to
travel
across
sky
and
sea.
“This
could
be
useful
for
search
and
rescues,
or
for
getting
samples
of
the
surface
of
the
ocean,
if
you
can’t
send
a
boat
or
helicopter,”
Dr.
Gharib
said.
8.
What
does
the
author
intend
to
show
by
mentioning
Newton
and
Franklin?
A.
Roh’s
admiration
for
them.
B.
Roh’s
chance
discovery
about
bees.
C.
Their
outstanding
talent
for
science.
D.
Their
similar
achievements
in
discovery.
9.
What
plays
the
most
vital
role
in
a
bee’s
moving
forward
on
water?
A.
The
air
weight.
B.
Its
leg
extension.
C.
The
water
movement.
D.
Its
continuous
wingbeat.
10.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“propulsion”
in
Paragraph
4
mean?
A.
Fast
flight
B.
Driving
force.
C.
Pulling
speed.
D.
Explosive
power.
11.
What
does
the
text
mainly
tell
us?
A.
Honeybees
can
surf
to
safety.
B.
Bees
help
scientists
make
inventions.
C.
Insects
can
adapt
to
the
environment.
D.
Nature
is
a
helpful
guide
for
discovery.
【答案】8.
B
9.
D
10.

【9题详解】
细节理解题。根据第三段中“But
that
weight
helps
to
push
the
bee
forward
when
its
wings
move
quickly
up
and
down.(但当蜜蜂的翅膀快速上下移动时,这种重量有助于推动蜜蜂前进)”可知,蜜蜂在水中前进的过程中,持续拍打翅膀起着最重要的作用。故选D。
【10题详解】
词义猜测题。根据画线词上文“The
researchers
said
the
surf-like
movement
hasn't
been
documented
in
other
insects
and
most
semiaquatic
insects
use
their

is
known
as
water-walking
(这被称为水上行走)”可知,研究人员说,在其他昆虫身上还没有记录到这种像冲浪一样的运动,大多数半水生昆虫用它们的腿作为在水上的推进力,这被称为水上行走。故画线词意思是“推动力”。故选B。
【11题详解】

At
Mrs.
Jennings’
handsome
house,
in
London.
While
waiting
for
dinner,
Marianne
Dashwood
wrote
a
letter
very
quickly.
Elinoir
Dashwood
noticed
a
large
“W”
in
the
address.
Marianne
rang
the
bell
to
have
someone
post
it
immediately.
After
dinner,
there
was
a
loud
knock
at
the
door.
Marianne
cried,
“Oh,
it’s
Willoughby!”
and
seemed
to
throw
herself
into
his
arms
when
Colonel
Brandon
came
in.
She
was
so
surprised
that
she
immediately
left
the
room.
Elinor
made
the
tea
for
Colonel
Brandon.
He
did
not
stay
long.
The
next
morning,
upon
arriving
at
home
after
shopping,
Marianne
flew
upstairs.
“No
letter
has
been
left
here
for
me
since
we
went
out.
How
strange!”
she
said,
in
a
low
and
disappointed
voice.
About
a
week
later,
they
saw
Mr.
Willoughby’s
card
on
the
table
when
they
came
in
from
morning’s
drive.
He
had
been
there
while
the
ladies
were
out.
“He
will
call
again
tomorrow,”
said
Elinor.
Marianne
decided
to
stay
behind
the
next
morning,when
the
others
went
out.
One
look
at
her
sister
when
they
returned
was
enough
to
tell
Elinor
that
Willoughby
had
not
called.
Colonel
Brandon
came
again
to
tea
and
had
short
private
conversation
with
Elinor.
“Your
sister’s
engagement
to
Mr.
Willoughby
is
very
well
known.”
“It
cannot
be
well
known,”
returned
Elinor,
“for
her
own
family
does
not
know
it.”
“I
am
sorry
but
I
did
not
realize
it
was
a
secret.
I
came
to
ask,is
everything
decided?Is
it
possible
to?
Excuse
me,
Miss
Dashwood.
I
believe
I
have
been
wrong
in
saying
so
much.”
From
these
words
Elinor
was
sure
of
something,
yet
she
knew
he
could
never
be
successful
with
her.
Over
the
next
three
or
four
days,
Willoughby
neither
came
nor
wrote.
One
evening
at
a
party,
Marianne
suddenly
saw
Willoughby
standing
in
deep
conversation
with
a
young
woman,
whose
name
was
Grey,
a
rich
lady.
“He
is
there!
Oh!
Why
does
he
not
look
at
me?
Why
can’t
I
speak
to
him?”
“Marianne,”
said
Elinor,
“perhaps
he
hasn’t
seen
you
yet.”
At
last
he
came
to
them.
“Willoughby,
what’s
wrong?
Did
you
not
get
my
letters?
Won’t
you
look
at
me?”
After
a
moment’s
pause,
he
spoke.
“I
came
by
last
Tuesday
but
unfortunately
did
not
see
you.
My
card
was
not
lost,
I
hope.”
“Have
you
not
received
my
notes?”
cried
Marianne.
“Tell
me
Willoughby;
tell
me,
what’s
the
matter?”
Quiet
and
embarrassed,
he
said
nothing
more
and
turned
quickly
away
to
Miss
Grey.
Marianne,
turning
white
and
unable
to
stand,
fell
into
her
chair.

Marianne.
“Tell

Marianne叫道。“告诉我Willoughby;告诉我,发生了什么事?”)”以及最后一段“Quiet

embarrassed,

said
nothing
more
and
turned
quickly

to
Miss
Grey.
Marianne,
turning
white
and
unable
to

fell
into
her
chair.(他沉默不语,很尴尬,没再说什么,迅速地转过身去面对格雷小姐。Marianne脸色发白,站不起来,倒在椅子上)”结合上文提到Willoughby已经和另一个有钱的女人在一起了,可推知,文章的下一段很可能会讨论Marianne收到Willoughby的一封信,说他要订婚了。故选A。

第六部分
写作(满分25分)
61.
阅读下面短文,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一个完整的短文。
I
grew
up
in
a
small
town
where
elementary
school
was
a
ten-minute
walk
from
my
house
and
in
an
age,
not
so
long
ago,
when
we
children
could
go
home
for
lunch
and
find
our
mothers
waiting.
At
the
time,
I
didn’t
consider
this
to
be
so
important,
although
today
it
certainly
would
be.
Actually,
our
lunch
time
together
in
the
past
years
had
had
a
great
influence
on
my
life
before
I
realized
it.
Our
lunch
time
when
I
was
in
the
third
grade
will
stay
with
me
always.
I
had
been
picked
to
be
the
princess
in
the
school
play,
and
for
weeks
my
mother
had
painstakingly
practiced
my
lines(台词)
with
me.
But
no
matter
how
easily
I
delivered
them
at
home,
as
soon
as
I
stepped
onstage,
every
word
disappeared
from
my
head.
Finally,
my
teacher
took
me
aside.
She
explained
patiently
that
she
needed
a
narrator
and
had
written
a
narrator’s
part
to
the
play,
and
asked
me
to
play
the
role
of
the
narrator.
Her
words,
kindly
delivered,
still
hurt
me
especially
when
I
saw
my
part
go
to
another
girl.
I
didn’t
tell
mother
what
had
happened
when
I
went
home
for
lunch
that
day.
But
she
sensed
my
upset,
and
instead
of
suggesting
we
practice
my
lines,
she
asked
if
I
wanted
to
walk
in
the
yard.
It
was
a
lovely
spring
day
and
the
rose
vine(藤)
was
turning
green.
Under
the
huge
trees,
we
could
see
yellow
dandelions
appearing
unexpectedly
through
the
grass
in
bunches,
as
if
a
painter
had
touched
our
landscape
with
small
amounts
of
gold.
I
watched
my
mother
casually
bend
down
by
one
of
the
bushes.
“I
think
I’m
going
to
dig
up
all
these
weeds,
”
she
said,
pulling
a
blossom
up
by
all
its
roots.
“From
now
on,
we’ll
only
have
roses
in
this
garden.
’’I
immediately
argued,
“But
I
like
dandelions.
All
flowers
are
beautiful
—
even
dandelions.”
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;
2.请在答题卡的相应位置作答。

“Do
you
mean
that
every
flower
has
its
own
beauty?”
asked
my
mother
thoughtfully.
I
nodded
without
hesitation,
as
if
a
second
wasted
could
threaten
the
life
of
dandelions.
“The
same
to
you,”
she
added,
her
voice
soft.
“Not
everyone
can
be
a
rose,
and
it
is
also
an
honor
to
be
a
dandelion.”
Knowing
that
my
mother
had
realized
my
pain,
I
took
off
the

I
had
worn
for
the
whole
lunch
time

poured

my

heartily.

【解析】
【分析】本文以人物为线索展开,讲述了作者参加话剧表演,几经努力仍然无法在台上背出公主的台词,老师就让作者念旁白,这让作者很难过。妈妈看出了作者的心事,主动和作者去庭院散心,看见庭院杂草里的蒲公英并想将蒲公英与杂草一块拔除种玫瑰,作者则想要保留蒲公英,并说所有的花都有自己的美。
【详解】1.段落续写:
①由第一段首句内容“‘你是说每朵花都有它自己的美吗?’母亲若有所思地问。”可知,第一段可描写妈妈举蒲公英的例子来安慰我,我敞开心扉告诉妈妈学校里发生的事。
②由第二段首句内容“在得知发生了什么之后,妈妈轻轻地拍着我的背说:“可你会成为一名出色的解说员的。””可知,第二段可描写经过妈妈的鼓励,我受到了蒲公英也有自己的美这一事实的激励,成功地作为一位叙述者完成了幕后解说任务。
2.续写线索:妈妈提问——我毫不犹豫地点头——妈妈安慰我——我倾诉苦恼——妈妈温柔拍背鼓励——我全心全意投入排练——表演成功——为自己感到骄傲
