一、教材分析:
本课教学内容为川教版小学英语五年级上册Unit2
Lesson3第一课时(Let’s
learn),本课通过创设Tom全世界抓Jerry这个情景,学习著名建筑物和旅游景点的单词,并把它们运用到“-Is

…?”“-Yes,it
is./-No,
it
isn’t.”“-Where
is...”“-It's
in...”这个交际活动中。
学情分析
五年级的学生他们具备一定的英语基础和较强的学习能力,思维比较活跃,他们在四年级的时候已经学习了一些关于地点、国家的单词,以及Is引导的一般疑问句和Where
is的特殊疑问句,因此本课将通过创设情景,让学生在适当的语言环境中习得语言。
三、教学目标:
1.通过本课的学习,能正确拼读表示国家名称和各国标志性建筑物的单词。
2.通过本课的学习,进一步掌握Is
it.....?和Where
is....?句型的问答。
3.通过图片、游戏、小组活动等培养学生的读写能力。
四、教学重点和难点:
1.能够用自然拼读法正确认读国家名称及其标志性建筑物单词
2.在语境中能够运用Is
it.....?和Where
is....?句型进行口语交流。
五、课前准备:
教具准备:话筒、图片、多媒体课件、四线格磁贴等。
学生分组:将学生分成七大组(六人一小组)。

通过观察图片,玩“猜一猜”游戏,学生们趣味盎然,游戏热情高涨。
通过“猜一猜”游戏,初步感知重点句型,达到了“游戏中学习,学习中游戏”的效果。
通过学生猜词游戏中的发音情况,教师掌握了学生的整体预,便于灵活调整安排接下来的教学活动。
在抓捕Jerry的情景中不断巩固新句型,让学生在不知不觉中获得新知,内化在自己的口语表达之中。
通过玩“消失的单词”游戏,强化记忆效果,增强趣味性。
教师把全班分为几个大组,每组请两名学生上台,一人手持图片用“What's
this?‘句型提问,另一人背对图片用”Is
