to
my
home
and
I
passed
by
an
old
lady
who
seemed
to
be
in
trouble.
I
turned
back
and
asked
if
she
was
OK.
She
explained
that
she
was
sick
and
had
to
struggle
to
walk
with
her
shopping
bags.
I
offered
to
carry
her
things
and
walked
her

home,
but
she
refused
because
she
didn’t
want
to
give
me
any

I
told
her
it
didn’t

and
her

It

As
I

her
she

I

She

My

第一节
(共15小题;每小题2.5分,满分37.5分)
A
Look
at
the
map
of
Spain
and
point
at
the
center.
You've
located
the
country's
capital
and
one
of
Europe's
most
beautiful
cities:
Madrid.
This
popular
destination
is
considered
a
city
of
contrasts
with
its
abundant
historic
sites,
resting
in
the
shadows
of
modern
skyscrapers.
History
This
city
of
over
3
million
people
is
proud
of
Western
Europe's
largest
royal
palace,
and
some
consider
it
to
be
Madrid's
most
beautiful
building.
Inside
the
Royal
Palace
2,800
rooms
are
decorated
in
glory
with
museum-quality
furniture
and
artworks.
Tourists
can
tour
50
of
these
large
and
splendid
rooms.
Art
The
Internationally
respected
Prado
Museum
is
the
largest
and
most
impressive
art
gallery
in
Spain.
Opened
in
1819,
it
is
filled
with
works
of
art
that
feature
the
world's
most
comprehensive
collection
of
Spanish
paintings.
Shopping
Madrid
has
some
of
Europe's
best
shopping,
and
potential
buyers
love
to
look
through
the
stores
looking
for
bargains.
But
for
500
years,
shoppers
have
gathered
to
an
extremely
large
outdoor
flea
market
known
as
the
Rastro
where
they
find
everything
from
antiques
to
CDs.
Entertainment
No
trip
to
Madrid
is
complete
without
seeing
a
performance
of
Spain's
famous
art
form,
flamenco.
Every
day,
flamenco
performers
sing,
dance
or
play
the
guitar
in
small
cafes
and
grand
theaters
alike.
Food
Madrid
has
a
wide
variety
of
restaurants,
but
because
the
Spanish
typically
eat
late
at
about
9
or
10
p.m.,
it's
difficult
to
find
good
dinner
food
earlier.
If
you
get
hungry
before
then,
the
best
solution
is
to
try
a
tapas
bar
where
light
snacks
are
served.
Be
sure
to
try
the
jamon,
a
kind
of
dry-cured
ham:
Spain
is
famous
for
it.

B
We
think
of
kids
playing
video
games
as
being
in
a
sort
of
loneliness,
locked
in
their
darkened
bedrooms.
In
truth,
they
are
usually
communicating
with
other
gamers,
via
audio
or
text,
about
the
action
on
the
screen.
And
sometimes
the
chatter
shifts
from
the
world
of
fantasy
to
real
life.
That’s
what
happened
to
14-year-old
Reilly
Howard
from
East
Hampton,
Connecticut
last
October.
While
playing
Counter-Strike:
Global
Offensive,
he
noticed
that
an
online
friend,
a-13-year-old
from
Florida,
was
not
his
normal
self.
Reilly’s
sixth
sense
was
confirmed
when
the
friend
messaged
him,
“Yo,
we
need
to
talk.”
Reilly
immediately
called
him.
“He
starts
to
open
up
about
what’s
going
on
in
his
life:
‘I
have
nothing
to
live
for;
I’m
going
to
kill
myself.’
Reilly
told
.
He
couldn’t
even
talk,
he
was
crying
so
much.”
Unable
to
verbally
convey
his
sufferings,
his
friend
typed
out,
“Tonight
is
going
to
be
the
night.”
Suicide
is
a
lot
to
throw
at
a
high
school
kid,
but
Reilly,
a
sophomore(二年级学生)at
the
time,
resolved
to
stay
on
the
line
for
as
long
as
he
was
needed.
“I
knew
he
didn’t
want
to
be
alone,
and
I
didn’t
want
him
to
go.”
he
told
WFSB.
“He’s
my
friend.
I
didn’t
want
him
to
die.”
For
two
hours,
Reilly
said
everything
he
could
think
of
to
persuade
his
friend
to
embrace
life.
“I
just
kept
comforting
him.
You’ve
got
a
lot
to
live
for.”
says
Reilly.
“I
said,
I’ll
see
you
tomorrow,
I’m
going
to
be
playing
with
you
tomorrow.
You
promise,
nothing
is
going
to
happen
tonight.”
About
that
time,
Reilly’s
parents
came
home
from
dinner.
He
filled
them
in,
and
they
contacted
Florida
police,
who
tracked
down
the
boy.
The
troubled
teen
is
doing
well
now,
thanks
to
a
good
friend—one
he’d
never
met
in
person—who
was
willing
to
put
down
the
keyboard
and
lend
an
ear.
Says
Reilly’s
mother,
Sheila
Reilly,
“You
just
have
to
show
up
and
talk
to
people.
And
listen.”
24.
What
do
people
usually
think
of
kids
who
are

ready
to
lend
an
ear
to
others.

【解析】
【分析】本文是一篇记叙文,讲述了Reilly
Howard通过网络聊天解救了一个13岁打算自杀的网友。
【24题详解】
细节理解题。根据文章第一段“We
think
of
kids
playing
video
games
as
being
in
a
sort
of
loneliness,
locked
in
their
darkened
bedrooms.(我们认为玩电子游戏的孩子处于一种孤独之中,被锁在黑暗的卧室里)”可知,我们认为玩电子游戏的孩子通常非常孤独,总是在黑暗的卧室里打游戏。即玩电子游戏的孩子很孤独,总是沉浸在游戏中。故选B。
【25题详解】
词义猜测题。根据所猜词前一句“He
couldn’t
even
talk,
he
was
crying
so
much.(他甚至不能说话,他哭得太多了)”以及“Unable
to
verbally
convey
his
sufferings,
his
friend
typed
out,
“Tonight
is
going
to
be
the
night.”(他的朋友无法用言语表达自己的痛苦,就在键盘上打出:“今晚就动手”)”可知,在面临困难的时候高中生们会选择自杀来逃避问题。由此可推知,划线的句子想要表明自杀在高中生中是一个很棘手的问题。故选A。
【26题详解】
细节理解题。根据文章最后一段“The
troubled
teen
is
doing
well
now,
thanks
to
a
good
friend—one
he’d
never
met
in
person—who
was
willing
to
put
down
the
keyboard
and
lend
an
ear.(
这个问题少年现在很好,多亏了一个好朋友——一个他从未谋面的好朋友——愿意放下键盘倾听)”可知,这两个人在网络上是好友,但是并没见过面。故选C。
【27题详解】

C
Learning
to
say
“yes,
and”
When
I
first
heard
about
the
improvisation
(即兴交流)
class,
I
was
hesitating.
As
a
quiet
and
shy
girl,
I
feared
improvising
in
front
of
strangers.
However,
I
knew
I
wanted
to
work
as
a
science
communicator
after
finishing
my
Ph.D.,
so
it
seemed
like
a
perfect
opportunity
to
learn
how
to
speak
and
communicate
with
others
effectively.
I
signed
up,
knowing
the
experience
would
give
me
help.
During
our
first
class,
we
learned
an
important
concept
of
improvisation:
“yes,
and.”
It
means
that,
as
improvisers,
we’d
better
accept
what
fellow
performers
say.
If
someone
says
that
rhinos
(犀牛)
are
librarians,
for
example,
then
rhinos
are
librarians.
We
do
not
question
the
logic;
we
say
“yes”
and
then
continue
with
the
scene
as
if
nothing
is
wrong.
The
first
few
scenes
were
hard,
but
as
weeks
turned
into
months,
I
became
more
comfortable
and
even
started
to
enjoy
our
classes.
I
became
better
at
listening,
relating
to
my
conversation
partners,
and
communicating
clearly
in
the
moment.
Once
when
I
was
giving
a
presentation
about
my
science,
an
audience
member
surprised
me
with
a
question
that
didn’t
grow
out
of
the
information
I’d
presented.
Instead
of
getting
confused
and
nervous,
I
took
the
“yes,
and”
approach—accepting
the
question
and
letting
my
mind
focus
on
why
it
was
asked.
That
helped
me
find
an
appropriate
answer.
I
got
pretty
excited
about
it.
The
benefits
of
improvisation
go
beyond
communication.
Before
attending
the
class,
I
would
get
stuck
when
my
experiments
produced
unexpected
data,
thinking
that
I
had
made
a
mistake.
But
now,
instead
of
getting
discouraged,
I
will
stay
open
to
the
possibility
that
the
results
are
real,
keep
exploring
the
data
and
end
up
identifying
a
new
type
of
cell—one
that
isn’t
behaving
as
expected.
I
think
all
scientists
can
benefit
from
this
lesson.
If
the
data
say
rhinos
are
librarians,
then
it’s
worth
finding
out
whether
rhinos
are,
in
fact,
librarians.
As
scientists,
our
job
isn’t
to
challenge
data
that
support
a
preconceived
(先入为主的)
story,
but
to
say
“yes,
and.”
28.

C.
To
give
up
her
job
as
a
science

D.
To
improve
her
speaking
and
communicating
ability.
29.
What
was
the
author’s
change
after
attending
the
improvisation
class?
A
She
formed
her
own
idea
quickly.
B.
She
came
up
with
lots
of
creative
responses.
C.
She
paid
more
attention
to
the
logic
of
answers.
D.
She
became
a
good
listener
before
giving
an
opinion.
30.
The
author
mentions
applying
the
“yes,
and”
approach
to
her
scientific
experiments
to
______.
A.
explain
the
process
of
using
the
method
B.
prove
the
benefits
of
the
improvisation
class
C.
share
her
own
research
experiences
with
readers
D.
attract
fellow
scientists
to
attend
the
improvisation
class
31.
What
can
be
inferred
about
scientists
from
the
last
paragraph?
A.
They
should
attend
the
improvisation
class.
B.
They
should
question
all
preconceived
ideas.
C.
They
should
carry
on
research

【29题详解】
细节理解题。根据第三段中“I
became
better
at
listening,
relating
to
my
conversation
partners,
and
communicating
clearly
in
the

and”的方法,是为了证明即兴交流课的好处。故选B。
【31题详解】
推理判断题。根据最后一段“I

D
As
climate
change
affects
the
planet,
the
world
is
turning
to
seaweed
(海草)as
a
possible
settlement
and
play
a
huge
role
in
fighting
climate
change.
It
is
used
to
create
natural
fuel
and
renewable
plastics.
It
helps
improve
oceanic
ecosystems.
People
think
of
forests
as
the
best
defense(防护)against
climate
change.
But
some
researchers
say
seaweed
is
a
better
settlement.
Unlike
trees,
seaweed
doesn't
need
fertilizers
or
fresh
water.
It
grows
faster
than
trees
do.
And
it
doesn't
require
any
land.
Most
importantly,
it
absorbs
carbon
from
the
environment.
Seaweed
could
also
become
a
key
global
food
source.
Many
worry
about
the
environmental
influence
of
eating
meat.
Could
seaweed
farms
provide
enough
protein
for
the
world?
Carlos
Duarte,
a
professor
of
oceanic
ecology
thinks
so.
When
you
look
at
how
we
are
going
to
feed
the
world
population
by
2050,
in
a
way
that
doesn't
harm
the
environment,
there
is
only
one
pathway,"
he
says.
"Seaweed
fanning."
In
the
past
decade
or
so,
global
seaweed
production
has
doubled.
In
British
Columbia,
seaweed
farming
becoming
popular.
For
thousands
of
years,
First
Nations
people,
the
native
people
of
Canada,
have
farmed
on
land
and
in
the
ocean.
Seaweed
farming
helps
them
create
economies
of
their
own
that
agree
with
their
traditions.
Their
role
has
always
been
to
connect
with
the
land
and
repair
it.
Seaweed
might
fight
climate
change
but
it
isn't
without
risks.
If
it
isn't
harvested,
it
can
go
bad
and
give
off
carbon
back
into
the
air
or
water.
Growing
too
much
of
it
could
also
affect
the
amount
of
light
that
reaches
species
living
deeper
in
the
water.
That
would
be
dangerous
for
underwater
ecosystems.
So
some
scientists
think
seaweed
can
be
a
part
of
the
settlement
to
climate
change,
but
it's
not
a
perfect
one
on
its
own.
32.

in
fighting
climate
change
compared

Using
fewer
resources.
C.
Living
longer.
D.
Absorbing
more
carbon.

seaweed
to
feed
the
world?
A.
Unclear.

Uncaring.
D.
Supportive.
34.
What
can

say
something
negative
about
your
own
body,
it
hurts
your
self-esteem.
(当你对自己的身体说一些负面的话时,它会伤害你的自尊。)”和下文“It
hurts
just
as
much
as
if
someone
else
said
it.(就像别人说的一样伤人。)”可知,自己对自己的负面话语也会伤害自己。所以G选项“无论你是大声说出来还是自己想出来,这都是真的。”符合上下文语境,故选G。
【38题详解】
本段的小标题“Like
your
body
(喜欢你的身体)”,根据上文“Maybe
you
like
your
hair,
face,
or
hands.
What
about
your
shape,
shoulders,
or
legs?
Your
eyes
or
your

本文是记叙文,作者主要讲述了自己学习英语的方法,通过大量阅读更快地学习英语。
【56题详解】

first表示“起初”,是固定搭配,和后文的soon对比。故填At。
【60题详解】

We
think
of
kids
playing
video
games
as
being
in
a
sort
of
loneliness,
locked
in
their
darkened
bedrooms.
In
truth,
they
are
usually
communicating
with
other
gamers,
via
audio
or
text,
about
the
action
on
the
screen.
And
sometimes
the
chatter
shifts
from
the
world
of
fantasy
to
real
life.
That’s
what
happened
to
14-year-old
Reilly
Howard
from
East
Hampton,
Connecticut
last
October.
While
playing
Counter-Strike:
Global
Offensive,
he
noticed
that
an
online
friend,
a-13-year-old
from
Florida,
was
not
his
normal
self.
Reilly’s
sixth
sense
was
confirmed
when
the
friend
messaged
him,
“Yo,
we
need
to
talk.”
Reilly
immediately
called
him.
“He
starts
to
open
up
about
what’s
going
on
in
his
life:
‘I
have
nothing
to
live
for;
I’m
going
to
kill
myself.’
Reilly
told
.
He
couldn’t
even
talk
he
was
crying
so
much.”
Unable
to
verbally
convey
his
sufferings,
his
friend
typed
out,
“Tonight
is
going
to
be
the
night.”
Suicide
is
a
lot
to
throw
at
a
high
school
kid,
but
Reilly,
a
sophomore(二年级学生)at
the
time,
resolved
to
stay
on
the
line
for
as
long
as
he
was
needed.
“I
knew
he
didn’t
want
to
be
alone,
and
I
didn’t
want
him
to
go.”
he
told
WFSB.
“He’s
my
friend.
I
didn’t
want
him
to
die.”
For
two
hours,
Reilly
said
everything
he
could
think
of
to
persuade
his
friend
to
embrace
life.
“I
just
kept
comforting
him.
You’ve
got
a
lot
to
live
for.”
says
Reilly.
“I
said,
I’ll
see
you
tomorrow,
I’m
going
to
be
playing
with
you
tomorrow.
You
promise,
nothing
is
going
to
happen
tonight.”
About
that
time,
Reilly’s
parents
came
home
from
dinner.
He
filled
them
in,
and
they
contacted
Florida
police,
who
tracked
down
the
boy.
The
troubled
teen
is
doing
well
now,
thanks
to
a
good
friend—one
he’d
never
met
in
person—who
was
willing
to
put
down
the
keyboard
and
lend
an
ear.
Says
Reilly’s
mother,
Sheila
Reilly,
“You
just
have
to
show
up
and
talk
to
people.
And
listen.”

C
Learning
to
say
“yes,
and”
When
I
first
heard
about
the
improvisation
(即兴交流)
class,
I
was
hesitating.
As
a
quiet
and
shy
girl,
I
feared
improvising
in
front
of
strangers.
However,
I
knew
I
wanted
to
work
as
a
science
communicator
after
finishing
my
Ph.D.,
so
it
seemed
like
a
perfect
opportunity
to
learn
how
to
speak
and
communicate
with
others
effectively.
I
signed
up,
knowing
the
experience
would
give
me
help.
During
our
first
class,
we
learned
an
important
concept
of
improvisation:
“yes,
and.”
It
means
that,
as
improvisers,
we’d
better
accept
what
fellow
performers
say.
If
someone
says
that
rhinos
(犀牛)
are
librarians,
for
example,
then
rhinos
are
librarians.
We
do
not
question
the
logic;
we
say
“yes”
and
then
continue
with
the
scene
as
if
nothing
is
wrong.
The
first
few
scenes
were
hard,
but
as
weeks
turned
into
months,
I
became
more
comfortable
and
even
started
to
enjoy
our
classes.
I
became
better
at
listening,
relating
to
my
conversation
partners,
and
communicating
clearly
in
the
moment.
Once
when
I
was
giving
a
presentation
about
my
science,
an
audience
member
surprised
me
with
a
question
that
didn’t
grow
out
of
the
information
I’d
presented.
Instead
of
getting
confused
and
nervous,
I
took
the
“yes,
and”
approach—accepting
the
question
and
letting
my
mind
focus
on
why
it
was
asked.
That
helped
me
find
an
appropriate
answer.
I
got
pretty
excited
about
it.
The
benefits
of
improvisation
go
beyond
communication.
Before
attending
the
class,
I
would
get
stuck
when
my
experiments
produced
unexpected
data,
thinking
that
I
had
made
a
mistake.
But
now,
instead
of
getting
discouraged,
I
will
stay
open
to
the
possibility
that
the
results
are
real,
keep
exploring
the
data
and
end
up
identifying
a
new
type
of
cell—one
that
isn’t
behaving
as
expected.
I
think
all
scientists
can
benefit
from
this
lesson.
If
the
data
say
rhinos
are
librarians,
then
it’s
worth
finding
out
whether
rhinos
are,
in
fact,
librarians.
As
scientists,
our
job
isn’t
to
challenge
data
that
support
a
preconceived
(先入为主的)
story,
but
to
say
“yes,
and.”
28.
Why
did
the
author
attend
the
improvisation
class?
A.
To
get
a
different
experience.
B.
To
finish
her
Ph.D.
at
university.
C.
To
give
up
her
job
as
a
science
communicator.
D.
To
improve
her
speaking
and
communicating
ability.
29.
What
was
the
author’s
change
after
attending
the
improvisation
class?
A.
She
formed
her
own
idea
quickly.
B.
She
came
up
with
lots
of
creative
responses.
C.
She
paid
more
attention
to
the
logic
of
answers.
D.
She
became
a
good
listener
before
giving
an
opinion.
30.
The
author
mentions
applying
the
“yes,
and”
approach
to
her
scientific
experiments
to
______.
A.
explain
the
process
of
using
the
method
B.
prove
the
benefits
of
the
improvisation
class
C.
share
her
own
research
experiences
with
readers
D.
attract
fellow
scientists
to
attend
the
improvisation
class
31.
What
can
be
inferred
about
scientists
from
the
last
paragraph?
A.
They
should
attend
the
improvisation
class.
B.
They
should
question
all
preconceived
ideas.
C.
They
should
carry
on
research
by
admitting
earlier
data.
D.
They
should
try
to
improve
their
professional
knowledge.
D
As
climate
change
affects
the
planet,
the
world
is
turning
to
seaweed
(海草)as
a
possible
settlement
and
play
a
huge
role
in
fighting
climate
change.
It
is
used
to
create
natural
fuel
and
renewable
plastics.
It
helps
improve
oceanic
ecosystems.
People
think
of
forests
as
the
best
defense(防护)against
climate
change.
But
some
researchers
say
seaweed
is
a
better
settlement.
Unlike
trees,
seaweed
doesn't
need
fertilizers
or
fresh
water.
It
grows
faster
than
trees
do.
And
it
doesn't
require
any
land.
Most
importantly,
it
absorbs
carbon
from
the
environment.
Seaweed
could
also
become
a
key
global
food
source.
Many
worry
about
the
environmental
influence
of
eating
meat.
Could
seaweed
farms
provide
enough
protein
for
the
world?
Carlos
Duarte,
a
professor
of
oceanic
ecology
thinks
so.
When
you
look
at
how
we
are
going
to
feed
the
world
population
by
2050,
in
a
way
that
doesn't
harm
the
environment,
there
is
only
one
pathway,"
he
says.
"Seaweed
fanning."
In
the
past
decade
or
so,
global
seaweed
production
has
doubled.
In
British
Columbia,
seaweed
farming
becoming
popular.
For
thousands
of
years,
First
Nations
people,
the
native
people
of
Canada,
have
farmed
on
land
and
in
the
ocean.
Seaweed
farming
helps
them
create
economies
of
their
own
that
agree
with
their
traditions.
Their
role
has
always
been
to
connect
with
the
land
and
repair
it.
Seaweed
might
fight
climate
change
but
it
isn't
without
risks.
If
it
isn't
harvested,
it
can
go
bad
and
give
off
carbon
back
into
the
air
or
water.
Growing
too
much
of
it
could
also
affect
the
amount
of
light
that
reaches
species
living
deeper
in
the
water.
That
would
be
dangerous
for
underwater
ecosystems.
So
some
scientists
think
seaweed
can
be
a
part
of
the
settlement
to
climate
change,
but
it's
not
a
perfect
one
on
its
own.
32.

Jenny
stared
at
the

window
longingly.
There
was
nothing
in
this
world
that
she
wanted
more
than
a
Happy
Hannah
doll
and
all
that
currently
separated
her
from
the
hottest
doll

the

was
a
thin
piece
of
glass
and
S29.95

Unfortunately,
Jenny
didn't
even
have
the
95
cents,
so
she
let
out
a
deep
sigh
and
continued
walking
home.
Suddenly,
a
pink
rectangle(矩形)in
the
snow
caught
her
eye.
Jenny
walked
over
and
realized
it
was
a
leather
wallet.
She
removed
it
from
the
snow,
and
opened
the
wallet
to
find
a
thick
pile
of
folded
green
bills
and
two
plastic
cards.
One
was
a
credit
card
and
the
other
an
ID.
Jenny
stared
at
the
old
woman
in
her
ID
photo.
The
woman
had
a
beautiful
smile
that
reminded
Jenny
of
her
grandma.
Jenny
sighed
and
then
she
put
the
wallet
into
her
purse.
She
turned
around
and
walked
in
the
direction
from
which
she
came.
Jenny's
heart
beat
quickly
as
she
entered
the
store.
She
had
long
dreamed
about
this
moment,
but
something
didn't
feel
right
about
it
As
she
approached
a
neat
pile
of
Happy
Hannah
dolls,
she
pushed
away
her
feelings.
She
grasped
one
Happy
Hannah
dolly.
As
Jenny
approached
the
register,
the
Happy
Hannah
Show
theme
song
began
playing.
It
was
her
mobile
pone.
It
was
her
grandma
In
one
hand
she
held
the
Happy
Hannah
doll
and
in
the
other
she
held
the
phone
on
which
her
grandma
was
calling.
Jenny’s
heart
was
filed
with
love
and
appreciation
as
she
thought
of
her
sweet
old
grandma
She
put
the
doll
down
and
picked
up
the
phone
call.
“Hi
Grandma?
I'm
going
to
be
a
little
bit
late
tonight.
I've
got
to
drop
something
off...
Yeah,
it
was
good...OK...Alright...I
love
you
too.”.
Jenny
left
the
store
and
walked
through
the
melting
snow
all
the
way
to
the
